Do whatever you want with the crappy 3D castlevanias. BUT keep your filthy hands off my Metrodvania! We don't need another classic series destroyed.

I was going to play Suikoden V which I bought from my county's equivalent of ebay, but sadly I didn't get the game this weekend due to this weeks thursday being a holiday here. So, I have to settle for a playthrough of Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin instead.

Sigh.. Long gone are times when game systems were used for gaming.

Not interested at all, I already own pretty much all of the DS games I would ever want aside from select few titles which I still miss (999, Etrian Odyssey 2, My World My Way, and the stupid teenage RPG by square-enix KH team), but can get with relative ease whenever I feel like it.

Why do the developers insist on using the damn Sanctuary song at every effin trailer and opening? I didn't like it the first time I heard it and now that I've had to hear it about nine million more times, it has become quite simply unbearable.

I got the Gamecube version from a Gamecube bundle I bought few years back. Wasn't my cup of tea, I just find the game boring.

Yup same here, it's like my 10th or so playthrough and it hasn't gotten one bit stale.

Suikoden 2 (ps1), RPG maker 2003, Warioware D.I.Y.

Suikoden 2 is the main game I'm playing this weekend. I'll work with my RPG maker or Warioware D.I.Y projects if I feel like it.

Not surprised, my 3ds is that colour and it really is just ugly tbqh. It looks decent in the pictures, but irl not so much.

Not that I care about the game in question or anything, but the region locks seriously need to burn in hell.

Anyone with a half-a-mind should be able to tell it's a opinion even without a IMO. Besides you yourself claim Tales of Symphonia a great game yet I'm not seeing any IMOs.

I think both of the Baten Kaitos games have pretty good stories with some pretty amazng plotwists, but if it's not your thing that's fine. Skies of Arcadia had it's moments, but the random battles were slow and tedious and the ship battles even moreso. it had some really good boss battles in it though, the dynamic boss battle music was really good and kept my blood pumping when in a challenging battle. But overall I didn't really find the game that interesting. I did complete it though which is more that I can say for many other games.

Bad graphics? What are you talking about? Gamecube had superior graphics compared to PS2. Many of Gamecube's games like Wind Waker and Resident Evil 4 still look impressive today.

Meh, Tales of Symphonia was just epicly annoying and unimpressive, and Skies of arcadia was just a 70 hour borefest. Both of the Baten Kaitos games easily trump both of those in gameplay, story and music.

Pretty good console overall, though it was lacking JRPGs, with the Baten Kaitos games being the only good ones. Other games I really liked on gamecube include Eternal Darkness, Melee, Resident Evil 4, F-Zero GX, Metroid Prime 1& 2, Wind Waker, Super Mario Sunshine and Ikaruga and few others.

(Oh and don't bother bringing up tales of symphonia or skies of arcadia, both of those are only mediocre at best.)

Well... I do prefer SMB 2 to every other 2d mario platformer, so I woudn't mind a sequel. But in the end I wouldn't prolly get it because I've become sick & tired of mario platformers.

I didn't get the game because I just don't find the Zelda series interesting anymore at all. The series topped at Majora's Mask and Wind Waker, and has lost all the little spark it used to have from since.

Just make it Melee speed, please.

More games and less talking Nintendo. Currently Wii U's upcoming line-up consist of nothing but ports.

Ughhh.. Why is Square wasting time on BS like this? There is always a tiny chance their regular JRPGs might not suck, but games like this have lost all hope from the get-go.

Still haven't gotten the original, because I'm kinda boycotting the KH team because of how horrendous Kingdom Hearts 2 and 358/2 days were.

THANK GOD! About time 3ds gets something worth playing in europe. I guess I'll forgive Nintendo for the region lock then.. At least for the time being.

Also for you non-importer European people, get Devil Survivor 2 it's the 2nd best game on the whole DS library only behind SMT: Strange Journey.

Of those Advance Wars is the only one I've played and also the only one that is even vaguely interesting. Though Advance Wars Days of Ruin is infinetly better than Dual Strike.

Looks pretty decent, but god I hate Mater System soundtracks.

Don't know them and not gonna miss them. American game developers are only good for whining and being arrogant.

Looks like a mix of devil may cry and zelda. meh..

F-Zero GX is one of the best racing games I've ever played, so I would be pretty excited if a sequel were to come.

As for the remake. No thanks. Even if I did like the game I don't see any point since you can already play the game on both a tv and a portable system. At least Ocarina of time wasn't available on handheld before. Also I don't see any way how LttP would benefit from the 3d gimmick or the touch screen.

The first Devil Survivor was amazing, but this is even better and even rivals SMT: Strange Journey for the title of best DS game ever.

Not a big fan of any zelda outside Wind Waker, but if correctly inplemented the two alternate worlds thing would be nice to see again. It's still saddening that only Link to the Past and Metroid Prime 2 have managed to pull that off succesfully.

Meh, they'll just give their players what they want. Also I guess the mario spinoffs wouldn't sell nearly as much if they were called "Kid Icarus kart" or "Metroid tennis" or "Pikmin party" and so forth.

I personally hate the look of the new trainers. The male looks like he's from bayblade or something, and the female has those ridiculous chun-li hair things (whatever they're called), but I suppose I'll get used to them. The poison gym leader looks out of place for pokemon, but I still kinda like the design. The black water gym leader though.. ugh.. I already got modded on another forum when I spelt what I thought about him, so I guess I better not do that again.

Well that's one reason, but It's mostly because nowaday whenever I see Miyamoto in the news it seems that about 90% of the time it's him saying something facepalm worthy. I think it's at least partly because he's getting senile though.

Not that I've recently had much respect left for Miyamoto anyway, but I think he just lost what little respect I had left for him.

E: Also I don't see what's so great about angry birds, playing tetris or practically any variation of pyou pyou is way better way to kill little time.

Oh god. not Sonic Blast, anything but that! I already have it on Sonic Adventure DX and that's more than enough. Bring in triple trouble and I might consider it.

Nintendo finally joins others in releasing incomplete games.

I just got the first one yesterday, it was bargain for only 10 euros, so I could finally work-up my courage and try something incredibly stupid like this. The game is actually surprisinly decent so far aside from the touch screen controls which I will always hate in any shape and form.

Here's an idea ubisoft, start bringing Atlus games to europe, you have my full respect then no matter what crap you may produce.

So far the only good thing about the 3ds has been the fact it can play DS games. Still waiting for those good games and/or a way to remove the region lock, so I can at least get Devil Survivor Overclocked and the other Atlus games yet to come which I, as things stand now probably never get to experience.

I remember Gon being extremely annoying to fight in Tekken 3 because it was so short. I have also tried a japanese snes game he stars in, that game made no sense to me, though I suppose it wasn't supposed to.

Oh boy, we get to keep our horribly slowed down and bordered 50hz sonic games. Awesome.

Can't say I'm particularly fond of the megaman series, but those are some pretty smart words. Japanese games are still overall miles better than 99% of the crap americans put out, but there has definetly been a significant drop in quality from last- and previous gens.

Why do american developers keep copying japanese games? And also why copy from crappy series like zelda?

3DS being region locked is nintendo's biggest blunder and I still haven't forgiven them about that.

Boring, but so is pretty much every single FE cover ever.
