It sounds like this one doesn't have the vertical movement that just made me give up on the otherwise great DS game Nervous Brickdown.
In it there was this world where the ball isn't reflected by your paddle but you have to hit it to make it reach the blocks. This was one of the most frustrating experiences i ever had with a game.

If I could get The Letter for 1€ I’d probably check it out just to see if it really is as bad as everyone says. I know what I’m in for after reading the review after all.

What level of quality is acceptable for a game on a Nintendo home console?

While I’d love if everything you pay money for would be high quality that just will never happen. So as long as I don’t get the impression that the game is unplayable i’m fine with it being released.
What’s really ridiculous is that a game like Tennis costs the same as something like Castlevania though. Tennis doesn’t nearly have as much substance imo. That should be reflected in its price.

Good to know that about acceleration. Guess i'd never have figured that out on my own. :)

The super lightweights unfortunately don't have high odds of winning no matter what you do

I haven't played any multiplayer yet but if this is true it's a bit of a shame since i like seeing as many different characters online as possible.

@DaemonSword Might this be what you're looking for?

I can imagine that if Ninty's message wasn't "play games like you've never played before - on Wii U" anymore people would be even more confused what the system really can do.
I wouldn't want to risk communicating my strengths for something that just works better on dedicated tablets.

I hope this one will support the Wii Classic Controller. I'd like to play this in two-player co-op with one player handling the GamePad and the other controlling the movement with the left and the flashlight with the right stick.
Or maybe Wii Remote + Nunchuk, controlling the flashlight with an on-screen cursor.
I'll probably not get a Wii U Pro Controller just for this game alone.

eviLaTtenDant commented on The NES Story Began On This Day 31 Years Ago:

@SageWaterDragon The proud "born in 1984" me somehow read a "were you given birth after 1983 but yet have owned the console before the Super Nintendo appeared" between the lines.
And still i wasn't in the mood to talk about my experience with the console at that time.
In hindsight i shouldn't have posted anything at all, i agree.

I wouldn't mind this coming to Europe for 3€.

Bike Rider DX2: Galaxy’s new gold crown, an extra award granted for collecting all three coins in one run without once touching the D-Pad

But there's no mode that's disabling the D-Pad, right?

Would also be interesting to know what the two DLC packs cost.

House cites data which suggests that 40 percent of PS4 owners didn't have a PlayStation Plus account previously, which could mean they were upgrading from the Wii

Or maybe and just maybe it's just because you didn't need one for online play on the PS3.
Also: Remastes or re-imaginations from PS3 franchises? No backward-compatibility? I love it when a plan comes together.

Like many others here i don't really like the artstyle but it sounds like an interesting concept that could be even better on the Wii U - thanks to its multitasking capabilities and the GamePad.

And amen to what he said about not having something like an undo button for TBS games. I'm currently playing Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars on the 3DS and really hate that when i just move and not attack an enemy there's no way to rewind.
That also was the thing that made the E3 showcase of Code Name: S.T.E.A.M look even more torn to me. In the one game where every step you make should permanently use up your turns movement points you can just go back and pretend none of it ever happened. If it stays that way in the final game it's quite the wasted opportunity. It could really profit from being suitably consistent imo.

the monsters will become vulnerable only on your screen, which means that they can still damage your opponents!! This is one of the unique game features only possible in the 3DS version.

Wouldn't this work in the Wii U's online mode and in a local duel with one GamePad too? :o

I'll probably get Pop'n Twinbee depending on the reviews.
Not ruling out a download of Pokémon Trading Card Game either.
And the Jett Rocket II demo even though i've already got the full game. :)
