elreins commented on Review: Flying Warriors (Wii U eShop / NES):

@Shiryu I also liked Culture Brain's games a lot. I have great memories of this game in particular as well.

Anyway, what I really want is Climax, Expansion Kit Disk and GX as Virtual Console releases for Wii U/3DS.

@aniki7 @raghav Just clarifying. In the end I was not scammed. It happens that after I sent an email with the code to raghav, he did not check his email until TODAY (12 hours or so after I had sent the email with the code for Wario Land 2). Because I got no reply for him, late at night yesterday I went ahead and entered the Wario Land 2 code on my own 3ds to verify if the code had/hadn't been used. It turns out it was unused. And so I ended up claiming the VC title for myself.

Again, he did not scam me, I apologize for having made it sound like he did... even when at the time it did look like it.

For the rest of you guys still looking for a code. DO HEAD OVER TO TWITTER, search DEMO CODE and filter the latest messages, you are sure to find unused codes there. two of my friends did get theirs there.

Good luck!

hahaahahaahahaahhahaahaha, thank you for having taken the time to read through those articles and saving me the pain.... Man, the racist one is hilarious. Since when fantasy characters must represent an audience? that is why they are fantasy characthers.

Now I guess Morton Koopa would feel ofended for having been called white as he is CLEARLY REPRESENTING THE BLACK AUDIENCE. (notice the sarcasm?)

Lol. Excuse my own stupidity but it is difficult not to go bonkers when being forced to think in MARIO KART in these terms.

It downloaded during the night and installed itself this morning, while I was attempting to read my email.

It all seems to be working just as before, maybe a little bit faster?
no crashes here.

elreins commented on Your View: The Issues of Collecting and Owning...:

@Slapshot I guess If i were to sell my console and did not want the games anymore, that would be ok. But if i am planning to sell the console and I still want the games. I would have to plan ahead to make sure I have a recipent console to send them to.... nuances.

elreins commented on Your View: The Issues of Collecting and Owning...:

@Slapshot Not to make a long conversation out of this but the games are actually tied to your nintendo eshop account (which is associated with one console at the time) If for any reason you loose your console or break it, as long as you know your serial number (for the broken unit and the replacement one) you can ask nintendo Service to "transfer" your eshop account to the new console.

I do not know what will happen in 15 years... Nintendo will have it figured by then.

elreins commented on Out Today: Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate:

I downloaded it from the mexican eshop on the 20th or 21st, dont remember. The thing is that the price was staggerinly low and attractive. 399 mexican pesos which is something like 32.35 dollars.

I could of course not let it pass.

Yesterday I went to the eshop again and the price has risen since. it is now 600 pesos which is around 48.57 usd.

I even have my suspcicion that on the 19th it launched it was even cheaper...

Happy hunting people. I totally adore the game.

elreins commented on Talking Point: The Emergence of Download-Only ...:

Just a clarification.

Contrary to what I thought regarding getting back software "lost" with a defunct 3DS (my original black died in a jar of hot pozole), the process could not be simpler.

It would be great if more people knew that all you have to do if you loose a 3ds with games associated to it, is to call Nintendo Service and say what happened, they will ask you to provide the Serial Number of the console defunct and a new Serial Number of another 3ds to transfer the information to.

That is how I got all my my software back into my brand new 3ds xl some months ago, even with ambssador games and what not.

The process works.
