I still think new consoles are exciting, regardless of the fact that I'm probably going Wii U only this generation. I might get a PS4 though.

While I'm intrigued by what this new Sonic game may be, I really don't want to see a Mario Kart meets Sonic game. Keep them separate.

I'd love to see some exceptional RPG's show up on both systems, so this is good news!

This game sounds so great, it's too bad not many will buy it. I'm excited for it regardless though.

Every Nintendo Direct can't be as awesome as the memorable Wii U February Direct and Pokemon X and Y announcement. People get disappointed too easily.

I wasn't expecting anything crazy so I'm happy with what they covered. New Super Luigi U got a release date, price, and retail box- which is really cool- and The Wonderful 101 finally got its own release date as well. I think the partnerships with Sega- resulting in an exclusive Sonic game and their teaming up with Best Buy for some E3 game demo goodness is great news in itself.

Also, the new Pikmin 3 footage was a personal highlight of mine :3

With that said, I can't wait for the next Nintendo Direct around the time on E3.

So much hype! Really interested to see how the new Mario Kart and 3D Mario look. I don't expect to see as much of the new Super Smash Bros. as Sakurai and his team are probably taking their time- which is a good thing.

Not sure yet if I'm getting both, but this discount is nice! Looking forward to playing this (or these) :3

The story sounds interesting. Though I was honestly more intrigued by the beautiful visuals and wonderful background music when this was being feature on the Nintendo Direct.

Not that I would want Nintendo to ever have to resort to entering the phone business, but I probably would buy myself a Nintendo Phone.

I love to hear that Nintendo and Sega are partnering up, they make a great team. It's surreal to see the rivalry officially come to a close, but I'm more than excited to see some great Sega games show up on the Wii U and 3DS- more so than just the Sonic series :3

I don't know which is more amusing to me; the Miiverse posts or the strong sense of "hardcore gamer" elitism I'm seeing in the comments...

These launch-window games didn't really stay true to their word but oh well. I'm still somewhat excited for this game.

Very nice to see more Sega games on the 3DS Virtual Console, what if someday we get Dreamcast games on the Wii U Virtual Console?

Generation VI looks so amazing with what they've shown so far. Good to see the overworld has been polished up and I love the new Pokemon designs, especially Pancham. Also, the box arts are stunning.

Can't wait to explore the Kalos region in October! :3

While I think Nintendo needs to adjust how they're handling the Wii U, being mostly how they handle marketing, as a whole- Nintendo is fine. I find it shallow for the article to say "Nintendo has no touch with the reality in industry trends" since, Nintendo, has made the industry what it is. They may do their own thing, sometimes not the most ideal, but I'm glad they don't just "me too" everything like the rest of the industry does these days.

So yes, Nintendo doesn't follow industry trends; they set them.

Beautiful rendition, Zelda music is so magical.

It's games like this and Xenoblade Chronicles that I wish I had bought when they were first released, as they're so rare to find now. I hope we can see Wii digital games on the eShop at some point in the future. Maybe not even on Wii U, but it could still happen.

Didn't expect to see it come so soon, as long as this isn't a rushed effort, I'll be looking forward to it. I liked Super Mario 3D Land, but it wasn't up to par with the two Galaxy games.

While this will be another nice call back to the classic, I'd really love for this game to at least show an effort to set itself apart from the original and be unique.

I got this message last night. Maybe Nintendo should focus more on getting actually decent commercials running for the system- you know, something that could perhaps come close to the brilliant marketing the Wii enjoyed?

As much as I love the Metroid Prime games, I'd much rather see a new F-Zero or Starfox game made by the talented Retro Studios team.

I like the art style of this game, although it looks a tad on the boring side- gameplay wise.

I've accepted that we won't see a Mother 4 for a while now. It'd be great to see the original and the third game make it to the eShop worldwide though.

There's always room for a potential remake too.

I respect Iwata and Nintendo for taking their time. Always quality games, in my opinion. It'll be worth the wait.
