I love the taiko series, but it doesn't work localized. The english ps2 version had the sh*ttiest songs.

@erv Wii had a slow start? Are you serious? That machine couldn't keep up with its massive demand for like a whole year after launch.

@Svengoolie Except for NA a lot of the titles are coming out 2014, whereas the EU version will be out within this year.

@Peach64 I would add Resi Revelaitons to that list of AAA titles.

Everyone complains about the XL not having a second circle pad. They seem to forget there's also the additional shoulder buttons. I can't begin to imagine how to work that into the design. Would you make the XL thicker? Would you make the buttons smaller and place them side by side like the Wii classic controller?

Also, designers should work with what they are given and design experiences accordingly. Metroid Prime Hunters was an FPS and it worked brilliantly by using the touchscreen.

I bet it's going to be $69AUD in our eShop like every single other big Nintendo game. There is zero sentiment to buy digital in Australia.

I'm a big die hard Nintendo fan, but I don't understand all the hate towards Pachter. If you watch his show Pach Attack, you'll realize he's actually very logical and critical of a lot of other things. I think his negative reputation comes mainly from fan boys. I do agree with some of the things he criticises about Nintendo.

I can't imagine only Nintendo would do this. Companies of course want to have their characters represented properly if they were licensed out. This isn't big or strange news to me.

I like seeing developers work with the given hardware specifications, rather than complain and beg for additional buttons or analog sticks. The game works fine for me with a single circle pad so I'm happy they went down that route.

@Tech101 totally understandable, but if you're really keen on getting the pikachu model for your son, maybe you can pick it up now and hide it in the closet for half a year haha!

@Tech101 I think these are limited editions. Just be wary of stock if you're going to get this at a later date, otherwise you'll be looking at jacked up prices on ebay.

I think I've seen more 3DS (and XL) colours/editions in 2 years than DS colours/editions in 8.

Aussie dates don't matter to me. If it's much cheaper on ozgameshop, the local retailers can suck it.

It's at select EB stores in Australia, my fellow Aussie brethren.

These bite sized, indie style games work better in separate digital chunks in my opinion. I don't carry much carts with me when I'm out, so I tend to prefer "bigger", "fuller" games occupying my cartridge slot.

Both are completely different games, not just your average different pokemon in each game kind of deal. Different world, different dungeons, the whole lot. Even the style of play is different, seasons is more action and ages more puzzle focused. If you finish either game, you get a password to input into the other game, effectively combining both into 1 big adventure that apparently has a "real" ending.

I've actually very recently had the urge to finish off Onox in my copy of seasons, and then wanting to continue into ages. This. Is. Perfect. Timing. Just gotta make sure the battery in my seasons doesn't die before I can get the end game password.

I'm glad there are still people who know the difference between the original SP and the AGS-101 SP. I've seen so many people claim the original model had a backlit screen when it was only frontlit. I must say though, I have both variants of the SP and the backlit model is definitely well worth the price difference. However if you're looking to play in the dark in bed, it'll burn your eyes off.

What does this mean? Does this mean if I clear my eshop account activity then ALL the things I've ever bought on the eshop is no longer redownloadable? Has this always been in the 3DS, regardless of doing a system transfer?
