divinealpha commented on StreetPass Mii Plaza Update Brings New Paid Do...:

@Damo I look forward to what the NL team has to say about these.

And if you're reading this Nintendo of America, I will DEFINITELY buy the whole set if you ever bring this huge StreetPass Mii Plaza update to NA, please? You've know how much money I spent already on the Nintendo eShop (over $2,000!). Up to you, but I'll be ready if you choose to do it.

@SparkOfSpirit Of course that's not the only game either...

At least it's priced more sense now at a flat price of $7. Some of the others were priced at $61.64 (Injustice) , $4.06 (Witch & Hero), $20.44 [or whatever] (Hotel Transylvania), and hilariously a price of the popular error code on sites like Nintendo Life ($4.04, Bearshark).

@ThomasBW84 Yeah its been $20 from the start!

Anyways, next week I'm getting Mighty Switch Force! 2, Mutant Mudds Deluxe, Dungeons and Dragons: Chronicle of Mystara (It could have been four instead of three, if it weren't for LEVEL-5 robbing hype for a June 13 release of Bugs. vs Tanks. They have mentioned it will NOT come out on that day (at least in the US)).

Animal Crossing: New Leaf will be my 19th download also available at retail in stateside and the 92nd 3DSDL+3DS retail download combined. As for Virtual Console, I have the complete collection from the 3DS and Wii U services.

The 3DS eShop turns 2 on June 6! :D
Quiet week in general, I'm afraid. However, the eShop has come a long way in the last two years with the option to buy select games also at retail, as well as a lot of sales and/or price drops during this time. There have also been great eShop exclusives, DSiWare and Virtual Console games coming around as well. All and all, the eShop is a much better place now than it was at the start (and better than previous download stores).

Thanks Nintendo for a great and wild ride on the 3DS eShop during the last two years. Keep it up! :)

@ThomasBW84 I mainly give out prices using my 3DS XL, the system I use most (as I'm from Canada). However, I now use my old 3DS for info purposes for the US to confirm prices.

I'm considering emailing Nintendo about this wacky pricing lately for the Canadian eShop. Being that Swords & Soldiers is $1.20 more than the US is ridiculous.

@ThomasBW84 Yeah, this is an awesome week for you! :) I personally like the selection.

I'm going to be purchasing Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move this week.

Have fun with The Starship Damrey Thomas! I'll be checking it out next week hopefully.

@HugoSmits Well at least almost everyone doesn't know what it looks like yet! I mostly don't understand what the game is going to be about without screenshots. ;)

I'm looking forward to whatever you do for the 3DS.

Yeah I really enjoyed this one! The gameplay is interesting and unique, given that you are safe in a pink color when a pink enemy goes through, and so on with other enemies and colors matching them!

Thanks @HugoSmits for this one, really enjoyed it! :)

Hmm... I saw on CIRCLE's website that a title called Tappingo may be coming in the future.

divinealpha commented on Talking Point: It's Time for a 3DS Storage Upg...:

Just recently, I upgraded to a 64GB SDXC card (my 32GB is now on the Wii U). As I'm a digital-only gamer now, SD card size is not a problem. Although, the only thing standing in my way is the number of software limitations that can be saved and/or read on the SD card. Nintendo really needs to increase that number dramatically or make it unlimited completely.

If I were in Europe / had an European console, I would have checked out Publisher Dream this week.

Unfortunately, it's not (or doesn't look like it) coming to North America this week. However, I still think it will come sometime in May.
