The boards don't get updated. The scores are in there from the beginning. You are trying to beat the GameClub-Members who tested the game and achieved those scores in the first place. Also the scores will get more difficult to beat in the later levels, so don't expect it to stay that easy to get into the Top 10.

From what I know there will be the opportunity to compare your highscores in the upcoming board of the PLÄTTCHEN-site.

I am really looking forward to other opinions on the game. Not that I dislike your reviews, oftentimes they were a great help for me as a gamer. But PLÄTTCHEN really seems to be polarizing people as I already wrote. The few users here who gave it a try seem to like it, so do I and everybody I showed it to. It takes some time to get used to it, but once you digg into the gameplay it becomes second nature.

I really worry that many gamers here who would have liked the game won't give it a shot because of the bad review. But let's see how things develop.

I am honestly telling you and all other WiiWare-World readers that Bernd did not put me up to this! As you can't take anything I write seriously (as you wrote) me saying that won't matter to you I suppose. But let me ask you just one question: Did you play the game?

@Dazza
Thank you very much for your question, actually I did enjoy my time working for Bplus three years ago when they concentrated their business on a whole other field than videogames.

Since then I started and finished my studies of Marketing + Sales and Bplus started making videogames. I have not worked for the company within the last three years, especially not since they started developing PLÄTTCHEN. *

Of course I still know the folks at Bplus and was therefore very interested in the game they developed. I also got the opportunity to test the game while it was still in development. This is why I initially downloaded it and it turned out that I really like it. *I think I should still be able to say that apart from what work I did years ago.

So to clarify once more: I am not an associate of Bplus. I do not work for them. I have worked for them years ago when they were not involved in the videogame business. I think I should still be able to tell my opinion.

You can so not compare those two games. PLÄTTCHEN is a complex game with high production value and unique gameplay. Everyone I showed it too really liked the game, so do most of the users here who already gave it a try. Same is true for the other boards i read. I don't get why just because one person here (the reviewer) disliked the concept everybody else now thinks the game is crap, because it isn't!

So I agree with Mange, User scores would be a great information to have!

No offense, but it seems to me the reviewer was just overstrained with the gameplay and therefore dismissed the game before even really trying. I downloaded Plattchen when it became available and already had multiple hours of fun with it. Truth is you have to take your time to get into it, but it is definitely worth the 1.500 points.

Plattchen seems to be polarizing people, everybody either loves it or hates it. I just hope people will nevertheless give it a try, otherwise they may miss a great game they might like. I'm just glad I downloaded before this review came out ...
