@Dude213 When I first bought the game I couldn't play it. I was just too terrified! My parents even considered taking it back and getting a different game. But I eventually got over my fear and completed the game - I absolutely love this game to this very day.

I'm curious if the sanity meter will be back since Nintendo owns that patent.

@cornishlee Yes, you can make individual purchases. When you click to purchase the game you want, you have a "add needed funds" option like the one on the 3DS eShop.

This is just awful. I really feel the artist just decided last minute that this was Link. There is nothing in this piece that makes me feel this is Link. Making him left handed would have been a nice start.

I bought this game and love it. Really the framerate "issue" is barely noticeable and doesn't interrupt gameplay. I find myself mostly playing on the gamepad. The visuals look stunning on the gamepad screen.

If you have never played Arkham City, pick this game game up.

I think this is a clever tactic from Nintendo to get people to set up their console to the internet. With the Wii there was a huge amount off Wii's that were not connected to WiiConnect24. Plus there is no excuse for people in 2012 to not have wifi.

After reading IGN's review I was certain I was going to get this game but after reading this review I'm a bit on the fence about it.
Another thing that concerns me is that I have never played any of the games. Is it worth investing my time? If I buy this game what are the chances of seeing Kingdom Hearts III on the Wii U? This is mainly why I didnt buy Metal Gear Solid for the 3DS. The games never come to Nintendo's home console so why bother trying to play catch up?

This is very cool. Finally that programming class that I took for my Game Design degree will be put to some use. (I work as a game artist not a programmer)

@Gustoff If my memory is right I think this feature only works in the "Free Fishing Mode." Place the card on a green surface! I think that one had the best effect on the game! If you have trouble finding blue, yellow, green or red surfaces just use a t-shirt, works just as good!

@3Dangerous3Dash The patent is describing using "color to influence the game world" and then gives a few examples how it could be implemented. Its not a patent for an original game but a concept.
The patent was filed in July 2011. I believe Nintendo saw potential in this feature in the AR Game and patented it. It does not necessarily have to be a major part of the game, its still the same concept and idea.

This is already in the AR game!! In the fishing mini game, if you place the AR card over something red it causes a rare red fish appear in the water. It does the same for blue, yellow, and green surfaces as well.

When I heard about this I was in complete shock. His comment was completely out of line. Its not just gamers who are annoyed by the comment its other game designers as well. I saw Nic from Nnooo given him a few choice words. This guy is a complete douchebag and its a shame his arrogance will certainly set back his career in the game industry.

Link to the Past Makes sense. Link is told by a man in the sanctuary that Agahnim is planning to break a seal made hundreds of years ago by the Seven Sages = The events in OoT.
As to why its called "Link Fails" timeline is a mystery. Maybe Link dies (You the Player cant beat OoT cause youre a noob) and Zelda and seven sages are still able seal Ganon away.

This timeline makes perfect sense. I wasn't expecting the Oracle series to fall into the same split.
@LadyStarstorm What dont you understand that Wind Waker takes place after the Adult timeline in Ocarina of Time? Link saves Hyrule from Ganondorf. Hyrule is under attack sometime later and the People of Hyrule pray for the "Hero Of Time" to return but he doesnt come. Hyrule is then flooded.

If I remember correctly, the US received the first 10 ambassador games a day early on August 31st.

I never really watched this "award" show, but it was nice to see Zelda get more praise. I will wait to see who the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences chooses for Game of The Year. Skyrim should have been disqualified for releasing a bugged game.

@WaveBoy umm the Dreamcast comment? He didn't say it, HE is quoting what OTHERS are saying. I don't understand where the bad mouthing is coming from toward him when he is clearly saying the Wii U is a great machine and a big STFU to nay-sayers.

Still waiting for a lime green Wii... The Wii U better come out in more than one color and not just wait till the end of its life cycle.
