I actually pre-ordered my Marth months in advance. Good thing too, because I've never actually seen another Marth in any store. Sadly I did see a TON of Villager and Wii Fit Trainer for a month or two but had no interest at the time.

Azikira commented on Renegade Kid Twice Pitched Silent Hill DS Proj...:

I think that the "they wouldn't let a team like us handle the Silent Hill license." comment was a bit snarky on Konami's part. As for Renegade Kid, they're a dev. group I really -WANT- to like, but I find most of their new games very lackluster. Mutant Mudds is highly overrated in my honest opinion, and I don't think they've ever really struck gold yet. Wayforward on the other hand has made some incredibly fun IPs, even though their licensed games usually aren't very good.

I remember there being this amazing Monster Hunter stage in Brawl Minus, and since Capcom already has a part in the game, and given the growing popularity of Monster Hunter, they should totally make a legit version of this stage!
Here's a video link to the stage I'm talking about.
Also just saying, Smash Bros Brawl mods are totally amazing! A great way to get back into the game when you've grown tired of it. :3

@Kaze_Memaryu Well of course, you gotta take into account that these guys were scrapped at design (and a bit of animation too) so there's always tweaks you can make for the Flyer to fit the role!
As for MPH, the story mode wasn't the best, but for the platform it pushed the envelope of what the DS could do. I always thought the true heart of the game was in the multiplayer function, though! I'd love to see a remake of just the online mode, with a few extra characters and weapons.
That's actually a pretty interesting turn of events, if a Chozo was being cloned AND weaponized by space pirates. I can imagine Samus would have a very hard time dealing with what basically raised her being turned into mindless killing machines.

Azikira commented on Unseen64 Breaks Down the Hidden History of Met...:

@Kaze_Memaryu I agree with you on the Flyer looking too slender to be a Chozo, but it would sure be cool to find ONE surviving Chozo (Perhaps struck with madness, or violent mutations) but since the Phazon is all gone now, it seems highly unlikely.
Honestly, I'd like to see the Flyer as a 'Hunter' of sorts, like Sylux, Kanden and all of them!
...Am I the only one who thinks Metroid Prime Hunters needs an HD remake of the Multiplayer mode? So much fun was had, until people started cheating online.

Azikira commented on Poll: Which Characters Do You Want to Win the ...:

@crzysortagamer Actually, Weavel would play nothing LIKE Samus at all. He's an entirely unique character in that aspect. Sylux and Kanden would be closer to clones of Samus then Weavel would be, especially considering that his main weapon is more of a slow lob-explosion type of blast (more akin to Solid Snake) and the fact he can split in half and drop his legs behind to act as a turret while his upper half can still run around and melee people. Nobody seems to take any of that into account because Hunters was a highly underrated game and don't actually know most of the lore behind these characters.

The funny thing is, Weavel isn't even my favorite hunter! I just think that his character would fit best in Smash because of the uniqueness. He was actually a Space Pirate who fought against Samus and was left for dead, but similar to Meta-Ridley they gave him a cybernetic body and brought him back. Lore-wise, he would want revenge against Samus for what she did to him, and it would make him a great counterpart to her. Finally, a villain with a true motive!

Azikira commented on Review: Etrian Mystery Dungeon (3DS):

I love how the scores of Mystery Dungeon games depend on the cross-over. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games always score around a 6 and get called mediocre (not necessarily on NintendoLife) when they're basically the same game with different skins. I actually like the Mystery Dungeon series so I'll give this'n a try.

I think Microsoft was mentioning the DS titles Diddy Kong Racing and Viva Pinata Pocket Paradise. Those were both made during the time when Microsoft owned Rare, and Viva Pinata -WAS- an Xbox exclusive up to that point. It doesn't seem to happen often, but Ninty and Microsoft do get along sometimes!

That being said, give the fans Banjo & Kazooie. We'd love it. And if you could also let Nintendo re-release Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie, that'd be swell!
