Woah, the day it looks like i'll finally have internet back at home (can't wait until i can return there to see if it really works) and finally the Wii U version of MSF2 is getting a discount. (I already got it on the 3DS.)
And since it's such a hefty one i'll definitely get it fingers crossed.
I'll also get Shantae and the Pirate's Purse on the 3DS. I might even think about getting the Wii U version along with it as long as i'll still get Club Nintendo Stars for it. The discount doesn't make the combined price sound too bad.

Master Reboot definitely. Maybe Tengami too even though it's quite a shame they didn't give it Wii Remote controls.
BLOK DROP X TWISTED FUSION's price point imo is too high in comparison to the US version so i'm waiting for a sale on that one.
Might get some of the others too if reviews point me in that direction.

The first paragraph made me think about that adventure/poker mix kind of game that was on kickstarter one day. While sadly it didn't make the cut it sure as heck sounded like having a buttload of potential.:-|

Just ordered the amiibos that launch today. The shop's website says they'll be with me on March 30th.
Out of the older ones i've ordered on the 4th i haven't really heard about Falcon, Pit, Rosalina, Villager and Zelda yet. I'll see what's up with that on Tuesday.
The Marth amiibo should be available in May again where i ordered it.

the Nintendo 3DS doesn't support Unity or the Nintendo Web Framework

And imo that's the biggest problem between the Wii U and the 3DS atm. Many of these small games released on the Wii U would be a much better fit for the 3DS.

I would say that the games that work best on Nintendo platforms are the ones that share a similar heart or "DNA" with Nintendo. It can be character-driven, but it's just a feeling, a passion for the genre or style of game. It's a bit nostalgic, but I think that whether it's a Shovel Knight or Shantae or Teslagrad, you could say "Oh, those are Metroidvania games, there's pixel art, retro music," but it's a level of heart that comes through in the marketing and development of those titles. You can see the heart that goes into creating it and Nintendo fans get that and see it.

Dang, he's sussing me. :-$

@JaxonH The question would be if they were more profitable than now though. I just don't think the Wii U will sell any better than it did last year. Although i'd really like it to take off like a rocketship.
So making people believe that it can might just lead to frustration.

alLabouTandroiD commented on Card Format amiibo Confirmed to be Heading our...:

It would've been great if the cards had been included in the original releases and if the option to get cards instead was there from beginning. They should be so much more convenient to take with you and take up a lot less space in your home. :-|

alLabouTandroiD commented on Poll: Do Video Game Reviews Need To Have A Score?:

I think that a 1 to 5 point scale is the best way to go. Todays 7/10's would probably be 4/5's then. Which would be way better for 'em imo.
Also when a 6/10 becomes a 3/5 it somehow makes the game look better. Many 6/10's are good games, so that would do 'em more justice imo.
It's only a snapshot in time to make people help decide on which game they should get. Not like that would really have anything to do with the game becoming a true classic later on.

Box Boy looked so amazing in the Japanese Direct.I'd even go as far as saying that it was my favourite title of all the three presentations (NoE, NoA and NoJ) this year. :-)
I also wouldn't mind seeing an actually good remake of Metroid 2 and 3D Classics versions of SMB3, Mega Man and loads of first- and third-party SNES games.
