It's great to see that more core game developers are taking mass market touch screens seriously as a primary gaming device.

While i'm not sure Nintendo sees it that way i do hope they give it their all. When a game doesn't profit from a TV screen, button contols, two screens or 3D i don't see any good reason for it not being on a smart device.

And kudos to Nancy Lu for her beautiful words on what i was talking about here.

his favourites to work on were the Nintendo DS and Wii because of the challenges presented with the new styles of play

That's why i'd love to see him work on a smart device killer app for Nintendo.
I mean he'd be confronted with the largest userbase they ever had.
If he can make a game that both typical smart device players and "more serious" gamers enjoy so much that it becomes a classic over the years i don't know what to call him anymore.

What i don't like in any game these days is when paying more money gives you any gameplay advantages over others (so it becomes the new "cheating").
Now while games on smart devices aren't the only ones guilty of that (see a lot of multiplayer shooters on home consoles) there's too many where you basically have to buy extra items to have any chance in beating the single-player mode.

games on smart devices require ever-evolving services rather than just being a finished product

I get that there's a lot of daily quests and maybe additional content when a lot of people bought the game. Apart from that i don't really know what this is meant to refer to.

Woah, the day it looks like i'll finally have internet back at home (can't wait until i can return there to see if it really works) and finally the Wii U version of MSF2 is getting a discount. (I already got it on the 3DS.)
And since it's such a hefty one i'll definitely get it fingers crossed.
I'll also get Shantae and the Pirate's Purse on the 3DS. I might even think about getting the Wii U version along with it as long as i'll still get Club Nintendo Stars for it. The discount doesn't make the combined price sound too bad.

Master Reboot definitely. Maybe Tengami too even though it's quite a shame they didn't give it Wii Remote controls.
BLOK DROP X TWISTED FUSION's price point imo is too high in comparison to the US version so i'm waiting for a sale on that one.
Might get some of the others too if reviews point me in that direction.
