aesupreme1 commented on Nintendo Direct Wii U Summary Released by NoA:

I can't believe people are up in arms over the name Wara Wara plaza. There is nothing wrong with having a little bit of culture/language foreign to your own integrated within the Wii U. If you don't like the name, don't say it. But there is no reason to get angry over a name. Lastly, I like it. :)

aesupreme1 commented on Feature: In Defence of Super Mario Sunshine:

I remember 100%ing this game and feeling the most relieved, and satisfied of any Mario game I have mastered (before and after). One particular level had me die more than any other game - the secret pinball level. It really takes a lot for me to yell at a t.v. screen, and I was yelling at the t.v. for an hour straight until I beat that hellish level. I went from yelling in frustration, to exclamations of joy :)

By the way, Super Mario Sunshine was an awesome game that definitely deserves the recognition it is getting today on NintendoLife.

aesupreme1 commented on Nintendo Power Magazine Will End With December...:

My subscription ends in a month, so I will definitely pick up the last couple of issues at my local news stand. Regardless of whether the magazine content was geared towards adults or a younger audience doesn't matter; it was a dedicated gaming magazine that will no longer be produced, and it's frustrating to see a part of gaming culture disappear.

I definitely enjoy browsing news immediately on the internet, but I also enjoy getting my monthly fix in the mail. It may be old school, but I still enjoy reading gaming magazines.

aesupreme1 commented on Sumo Digital Declares Wii U Capabilities to be...:

@kingofe3 Thank you. I posted a response similar to yours on another website about this. It's ridiculous how one website's misinformation (Eurogamer) can have the snowball effect on the internet.

NintendoLife, please do some additional research on your articles before continuing to spread flawed info. This is my main go to site for Nintendo goodness...please keep your standards high.

aesupreme1 commented on Warner Bros. Gets the Party Started With Game ...:

Why dismiss a game when you haven't seen it in motion yet? Yes, it is another party game, but there are a lot of gamers that enjoy this type of game. Eliminating purchasing options for the gamer/consumer is not the way to do business, and Nintendo is not about to eliminate casual gaming from their consoles because "gamers" don't want to see it on the system.

aesupreme1 commented on Michael Pachter: Activision Demanded Wii U Pro...:

I just hope they give us several control options on the inevitable Call of Duty Wii U. Although I would most likely play with the Wii-remote option, I'm really interested in how developers will take advantage of the tablet as well.

As for Pachter, I haven't taken anything he's said seriously in years.

By system, the following have been played this weekend:
3DS: Johnny Kung Fu, Mario Tennis Open, Pushmo, Spiderman demo
360: Red Dead Redemption, Burnout Paradise
PS3: Trine

  • I hope to have my sensor bar issue dealt with tonight as well, so I can continue my playthrough of Skyward Sword.

aesupreme1 commented on Rumour: The Darkness II Planned for Wii U:

As someone who played through the entirety of The Darkness, I am excited that the sequel is coming to the Wii U. The demo was not indicative of the entire game, as it was a fresh take on the FPS genre. In addition, the original had a great story that actually made you care about the characters within the game (particularly the girlfriend Jenny).

Although the sequel is being produced by a different company, the game looks good from the preview videos released thus far. Finally, regardless of whether you like the game or not, the more 3rd party developers at launch, the better...
