So few believe it, but this game is a BLAST. I don't particularly like Pokemon and haven't played any other Pokemon game, but this one I love. It's a bit short leaving you to want more, and the worst part about it is that Nintendo never made a sequel with the newer, better hardware. Unique, fun, what more do you want?

This is a far better game than Cybernator, in my opinion, and one of my favorite console games, period. If you started with Cybernator, I can see a bit of a shock coming to these smaller, simpler graphics, but the technique and depth of this game is rivaled by very few others in its genre. It's very difficult (you'll want to use the unlimited continues trick when you start) but I've finished it many times without using the trick. Along with the difficulty, the first few stages are graphically poorer than the later ones making it a harder game to get into. Music is fantastic, as well. The best part is learning to master the controls and weapons, it's quite a rush when you find that your own skill turns a seemingly impossible game into a breeze.

I prefer its predecessor, Target Earth (for Sega Genesis), overall but I wish it had the graphics of this one. It's shorter than Target Earth but has some very memorable moments and great ideas. Super fun. Definitely picking this one up.
