How comes you put Sonic 3 in, then say Sonic 2 was better, and Sonic 2 appears nowhere in your list? Sonic 2 is considered the best game on the Megadrive bar none, let alone best platformer!?

Final Fight was good, but SoR2 was the mac daddy.

I can't believe all these Neo Goe games are being mentioned, and Windjammers wasn't amongst them! It was such a simple game, but great fun! 2-player was fab too.

Nice article, do you ever think the Dreamcast will make it's way onto the Virtual Console? Wasn't it the approximate equivalent of the N64? Would be nice to get the original Soul Calibur on it, and also NFL Blitz 2000. Loved that game.
