Gonna have to get The Swapper is meant to be excellent getting 9/10 reviews almost everywhere and considering it more closely resembles the PC/PS4 version im sold kinda interested in Thomas Was Alone also for just £2.20.

I can confirm that Mario vs. Donkey Kong on the GBA was one of my all time favourite games actually a few mates would also agree back in the day on that really good design mechanics and fantastic presentation. Personally i play all of my GBA games on my GB Player on my Gamecube and most games actually look ok when blown up to 50" on my Panasonic plasma, i still have most of my cart collection such a quality games library on that handheld its ridiculous.

I see that BLOK DROP U received an update adding a level select, save system and updated graphics a little while ago i may have to grab those games at the low prices on Thursday and obviously Gunman Clive HD aswell.

XyVoX commented on Review: 3D Gunstar Heroes (3DS eShop):

Im sorry but this is clearly a 10 as a standard release for the MD let alone the 3D update and attention/options etc M2 have put into it 9 isn't right at all.

XyVoX commented on Wii U System Update Now Live, Finally Puts TVi...:

The Wii U OS is garbage why does it take AGGGEEEEESSSS to goto the Wii U menu why does it take AGGGGEEEESSSSSS to goto the system settings etc etc i cant think of a single device out there thats so stupidly slow as the Wii U, its a mess.

Surprised that Nano Assault EX for 3DS isn't getting more attention one of the few 9/10 indie games for 3DS seems the price when released £12.49 which is brilliant in of itself as its an updated version of the retail cart its now going to be £6.35 so half price on Thursday, curiously not sure when/where this £8.49 price came from as its currently showing in the eshop.

As is the case so often i would of picked up Citizens of Earth but noticed its a cross buy title for PS3 & Vita if only devs offered the same for Nintendo platforms i chose that.

XyVoX commented on Nintendo Download: 13th August (Europe):

Ok im sure im always seeing Shin Megami Tensei IV for £8.99 on these deals have yet to pick this up as i dont normally play RPG's but it looks kinds interesting also Darksiders 2 i see the disc version say over 5 hours of additional content i wonder if this digital download is the same.

XyVoX commented on Review: Flick Golf 3D (3DS eShop):

Have this on mobile devices and other Flick Golf games from Full Fat and they're all really fun to play, one of the few games ive managed to play with others on a mobile device personally i'd give it 7-8/10 as its alot of fun to play.

XyVoX commented on Review: 3D Streets of Rage 2 (3DS eShop):

This review is wrong its a CLEAR 10/10, in reality there is a fairly big difference between a 9/10 & a 10/10 and i dont know of anyone who sessioned this that would say it aint a 10, of course there's plenty of internet wingnuts that would say otherwise.

XyVoX commented on Limbo Looks Set to Finally Arrive on the Wii U...:

Got this on PC (Humble Bundle) PS3 & Vita was crossbuy if i remember and it is a very good game typically getting 9/10 almost everywhere it gets reviewed so expect the same score from Nintendolife i reckon.

XyVoX commented on Humble Nindie Bundle Allows Wii U and 3DS eSho...:

Love the Humble Bundle i always get a bundle for PC or Mobile if it looks good just a shame its not for Europe at the moment hope that changes though, i have to say this is a very BIG feather in the cap for the Nintendo ecosystem it really is.

XyVoX commented on A Totally Complete Version Of Star Fox 2 Reall...:

Utterly criminal that this game had never seen a release back then and it used the FX chip 2 which was twice as powerful as the first FX chip that was used in the first Star Fox, would of been amazing.

XyVoX commented on Review: 3D Thunder Blade (3DS eShop):

Im getting all of these 3D Classics that Sega/M2 are putting out as each one is the best version of the game its ever been and alot of care and attention has gone into them (cough cough unlike Nintendo releases) surely that's gotta be worth it.

XyVoX commented on New Super Mario Bros. Receives ESRB Rating For...:

This is definitely a Great 2D Mario game, this game got me in trouble big time i have to say as it came out literally the day i went on my Honeymoon and so i grabbed it and brought it with me she's in the shower im on my DS-Lite she comes out of the shower im on my DS-Lite she pops out for groceries on my DS-Lite she come back im on my DS-Lite we're on the beach im on my DS-Lite love that game my wife wasn't impressed i have to say.

XyVoX commented on Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush Fails to Brea...:

Agreed im not buying a Wii U game if i can only play it on the Gamepad i as i suspect most people buy Wii U games so they can mainly play them on a HDTV also ive never been a fan of the poor screen quality/resolution i mean the Gamepad doesn't even display the native resolution of Wii U games which is ridiculous, when it came out it uses a resolution less than 720p and alot of other portable devices at this time were using 720p-1080p screens.

XyVoX commented on Nintendo Download: 23rd April (Europe):

Ahh Kirby's Dream Land 3 originally used an on board cart Chip for the SNES:
The Super Accelerator 1 (SA1) chip is used in a number of SNES games, including the popular Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.[12]

Similar to the 5A22 CPU in the SNES console, the SA1 contains a processor core based on the 65C816 with several programmable timers.[2] The SA1 does not function as a slave CPU for the 5A22; both can interrupt each other independently.

The SA1 also features a range of enhancements over the standard 65C816:

Upgraded 10.74 MHz clock speed, up from a maximum of 3.58 MHz
Faster RAM, including 2KBytes of internal RAM
Memory mapping capabilities
Limited data storage and compression
New DMA modes such as bitmap to bit plane transfer
Arithmetic functions (multiplication, division, and cumulative)
Hardware timer (either as a linear 18-bit timer, or synchronised with the PPU to generate an IRQ at a specific H/V scanline location)
Built-in CIC lockout, for copy protection and regional marketing control
