When you say " it does full HD output for a start" so does the PS3 & 360 trouble is only a handful of games on them systems actually output true 1080p, so will the WiiU be outputting true 1080p on all games or is it going to be as is the case with the PS3 & 360 most games by far are only 720p.

From the beginning i COULD NOT BELIEVE Nintendo actually designed the 3DS without a second analogue stick in the first place, i mean using a second analogue stick was common place for years by then. In this new revision for the 3DS i really think it is essential that they up the screen size and battery life as BOTH are way to small.

Question is what's it like to play with the Circle Pad Pro compared with the Standard controls, does it make it play better etc?

Sweet had this pre-ordered from Zavvi for £29 with the Circle Pad Pro included aswell, and its been dispatched cant wait. ps in my opinion LAST generation of consoles & games Resident evil 4 on the Gamecube was EASILY the best game i'd played, SHAME they cocked up and ruined Resident Evil 5 though wasn't even a Resident Evil game really.

Ahhh 200MB i was guessing its over 150mb just by the amount of time it took, WOW THANK GOD that Crappy download limit is gone from the 3DS at least, no more strangling the developers vision. Shame they never done that for the Wii or DSi it made no logical sense to me.

The colours and screen blurring for me make it unplayable, and its nowhere near that Bad on any other format be it ds games on a 3Ds or VC games on the Wii etc this is most definitely the WORST of the lot by some margin.

I COMPLETELY agree these games look terrible the colours are incorrectly displayed and the screen blurring/smudging is awful.

This selection is of a very high standard as most games were universally a 9/10 and certainly considered by many some of the ELITE titles for the GBA, i mean Mario Kart: Super Circuit had all of the SNES Mario Kart tracks within it aswell.

This article has got me thinking whats the easiest i can get to play Gameboy games on a big screen etc and WOW what i didn't realise until reading this article is that i already own a Nintendo GameCube Game Boy Player and i ALWAYS assumed that it only plays GBA games which was it only use to me but it actually plays all of the Gameboy games aswell, Can anyone answer if it acts like the Super Gameboy in that it enhances the colours of Gameboy games or does it just present the games as standard ? thx

@ TheAmazingRaccoon i had already done that with the brightness and power saving mode and the 3DS still looks much more washed out than the XL though.

Thomas ive done the same and downloaded it for both my 3DS & XL and was comparing the Graphics on both i have noticed that you get to see a bit more of the screen on the Left & Right hand sides on the XL and that the colours look slightly washed out on the 3ds whereas the XL picture looks much more vibrant and punchy.

4.50 (UK) is far to expensive and a rip-off.

Any idiot from the Offset hearing about the Specs for the 3DS was asking 'WHERE IN THE HELL IS THE 2ND ANALOGUE STICK' and this had been Mandatory for playing games for many years now, the 3DS has just been one BIG cock up from beginning to launch to eshop to price etc and now this Hideous thing, thing is alot of games will probably play better with the 2nd stick so you will be kinda forced into the extra weight and size to get the most out the game, what they need to do is release a 3DS mk 2 that obviously has this already built in but also has a bigger screen and better battery life.

Well done Nintendo YOUR TRYING TO GET THE 3DS off to a flying start now after the MAJOR messup of a launch, and the LATE eshop arrival so you decide in all of your wisdom/multiple meetings to spend time and effort bringing Urban Champion to the 3DS MMmmmmmmm HOW ABOUT flooding the eshop with QUALITY that you have from your vast back catalogue INSTEAD 'that might just HELP your 3DS' HOW MANY TIMES do you need to be told the 3DS has not done well for 2 main reasons the PRICE was to high (now corrected) and a lack of quality titles.

I was playing this around a mates yesterday and i CANT believe the developer have only included TILT control method for this game is utterly bizzare it could never compare to an analogue stick for a racing game, the review is correct in that it is very twitchy and sensitive and drifts far to easy and that you can actually get to grips with it to an accomplished extent but it always feels like unecessary hard work, personally i'd still give it a 6/10 though.

I was 17 when i got my SNES/Super Famicom as i ordered it from Japan as i already owned a Jap Megadrive and hated the UK consoles SLOWWW running speed and smaller screen size. This and the N64 are my best machines to date.

Well by far the vast majority of people i know with a Wii none of them apart from a mate knew that it can even play Gamecube games. For me its essential.

In all honesty CONSIDERING the vast back catalogue of games Nintendo has at its disposal and in my opinion have never understood why so few games are released every week digitally across their various platforms is a mystery to me, and YES Half the time the games released are pure RUBBISH, i mean COME ON Donkey Kong on the 3DS is outstanding but WHY only give people the gameboy version why not give them the SuperGameBoy version as well thats full colour etc, many things just dont make sense.

Well as far as reasons for the 3DS not selling well for me and some friends was the reason that we prefer the XL to a 3DS because of the screen quality, we dont like the way the 3DS's screen when switched into 3D goes Dim / murky and loses brightness a common side effect/trait of most 3D TV's/Projectors. Your talking about a company that released all of its VC range for Europe in the sub standard 50hz Crap without the option for 60hz when 99% of peoples tv's could handle it, a Utter DISGRACE in my opinion, they release a 25th Mario Anniversary Disc MISSING many games all again running in 50hz just Ridiculous.
