I want a 3DS or WiiU port of this game. I miss it so much... yeah I know I could just go to the basement and play it on my N64.

...hmm, maybe I should tonight. Fun game!

Good grief people. You want DK? Buy the WiiU game that came out this year. Cause so far about 1,000 people did. So NO DK FOR YOU!

ANYWAY, lots more good indy titles. Might have to pick up Squids Odyssey on either WiiU or 3DS. I remember it got good review. I need more time to play some games!

XCWarrior commented on Hardware Review: The New Nintendo 3DS Is The B...:

I'm glad to hear the non-XL model is still bigger in terms of screen size, and that the battery life is better than my original 3DS.

I'm not happy about having to buy a microSD card. I bought a 32 gig SD card for my 3DS so I wouldn't have to replace it.

I also thought it was odd you guys didn't point out the differences between playing Smash Bros on a 3DS vs a new 3DS. I mean the OG 3DS by everything I've read barely runs Smash. I would think there would be a noticeable difference with this system.

I am hoping we see a new 3DS Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate bundle here in the US. I'll be picking up the new system and that game at the same time next year.

After doing about 550 hours of research between Monster Hunter 3 and MH3U, I can confirm that the desire sensor does indeed exist, and it's as annoying as crap.

But I still love you Monster Hunter, please get MH4U out here in the US ASAP. You can delay all games to push up the release date.

Loving this game. Have no clue why there is no online play given I can tell people own by the number of Miiverse posts.

It's a ton of fun, and besides accidently clicking on the wrong guy now and then on bigger maps, I love the controls.

@Klunk23 I'm waiting for the day Nintendo Life adjusts the poll to say (buying digital or retail). Cause yeah, I still go physical whenever possible. But I personally still vote for the digital version to acknowledge I am going to buy something.

As a whole, pretty good week for kickstarter games. Bucks the recent trend I've seen. A few of them look promising. Hope the devs deliver - and glad now they must deliver something with the new rules in place by Kickstarter.

XCWarrior commented on More Minecraft Mania Looks Set for Wii U With ...:

Well now 3 Minecraft clones coming to Nintendo systems.

We just need 1 of the 3 to be good. Odds are starting to get into gamer's favor. I personally like Battleminer's look the best right now, because well ants taking over the world is at least a unique idea.

Game is short, but endless loop for high score rankings. Now that I've played it a good amount, 7/10 is a good score. With online leaderboards, gives it replay value. I'm enjoying it. Worth picking up!

XCWarrior commented on Watch Dogs Wii U Release Dates Confirmed:

Doubt many people will buy this considering its 6 months old and most people didn't seem to love it. Most people seemed to be very meh about it.

I'm more interested to see if people will simply preorder the sequel due to Ubisoft creating more hype and promising to fix whatever was wrong with this one.

XCWarrior commented on Review: World Conqueror 3D (3DS eShop):

I've actually enjoyed this game a lot. I'm a big fan of risk, so being able to play against someone (the cpu) on the go and not have to pick up all the pieces, not to mention there is more strategy, is nice. It could use a bit more variety, but I'd give it around a 6.5/10. Worth a look if you enjoy Risk.

XCWarrior commented on Project CARS Wii U Delay Was To Ensure It's As...:

These developers have no track record to be believed. So sorry, don't believe you.

I feel they haven't even started the WiiU version, and will slap together some "8 bit retro" version of the game and call it a day sometime in the summer of 2015.

Much like Watch_Dogs, we don't see any screenshots of the WiiU version, so it's really hard to believe the game exists.

We shall all pray for a good TMNT game. The last one was, what, TMNT IV on SNES? I know there are a few above average ones that came after, but in terms of great games, TMNT II, III and IV are where it is act....

Why does no one replicate that genre of game and throw it on the eshop by the way?

Waiting on a review or 2 for Cubemen 2, but pretty sure buying that.

So 46% of people aren't going to download anything, even though there are 3, yes 3, demos? People, TRY SOMETHING.

And I don't want t hear nonsense like, "I don't own 3DS." No way 46% of the people who check this don't own a 3DS. A few of you might. But people don't own WiiUs, they own 3DSs if they come to Nintendo Life.

XCWarrior commented on Feature: Kickstarter's Wii U and 3DS Campaigns...:

@KryptoKrunch I didn't say every Indie is doing it, I'm just noticing a trend w/Kickstarters lately where they like to make WiiU the stretch goal and have it be really far away from core goal. There is certainly Indy support, but I feel like other devs are trying to benefit from lack of games on WiiU/3DS.
