With the short battery life and supposed 500 charge cycle, Nintendo needs to come up with something quick. This device, though useful, is ugly, bulky and adds more weight to the pad. If you look inside the battery compartment, you'll notice a much bigger space than what the battery takes up. Hopefully Datel, Amstron, Dantona or some others battery maker can come up with an extended life battery that fits inside the battery compartment.
