I'm a gaming, bird loving fanatic!

While one side of my interests reside in Nintendo gaming, the other involves a passion for all creatures. But avian life has a particularly special place in my heart. If something has wings, feathered or otherwise, chances are I'll love it.

After the first wave it should've been crystal clear that the masses bought Amiibo like hotcakes, but, as usual, they dropped the ball and understocked the second set. It's the holiday season Nintendo, it's perfectly fine to go all out with product production, especially when you know it's a big hit like this.

WingedSnagret commented on Video: The Top Ten Worst Designed Pokémon Ever:

@Palom I can agree to an extent in terms of laziness (most of the Pokemon are blatantly obvious homages to past gens, the first one in particular). But the point I'm making in every list on YouTube involving least favorites/worst/whatever always has gen V as a punching bag and it's been beyond done to death.

It's even worse then usual here since it just throws the entire gen into the lot rather then one in particular.

WingedSnagret commented on Nintendo's New Response: Some amiibo "Likely" ...:

Ugh. Marth was the only non-perennial of wave 1 I was interested in. Searched every store in my vicinity, nothing. And of course Amazon only has third party sellers now that have jacked up the price far beyond any amount of reason. $70+ dollars? Screw you greedy jerks.

Kind of a worrying sign if you ask me. Today's young generation is gravitating almost solely around either FPS or iPhone apps. Yeah there's a few kids who's parents are gamers that will grow up with the classics both old and new, but once we, the main base that keeps Nintendo's boat afloat, are gone, what are they gonna do?

I just find it hilarious that people are willing to pay three times or more the worth of an object based solely on the fact that it's a factory mistake. I mean, really? Especially when some have already started customizing their amiibos to the point where one can easily just make their own two cannon-armed Samus.

WingedSnagret commented on Review: Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric (Wii U):

My expectations were very low the second I saw the redesigns, because every time Sega tries something new with Sonic typically spells some amount of disaster, but I didn't think it'd reach '06 levels of terrible. Sigh...

WingedSnagret commented on Review: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U (Wii U):

I can't help but feel some amount of flaw in everyone waiting for online to be available before giving the final review scores.

It's opening day. Thousands if not millions of people are going to be booting up and heading to online at once, which in turn will undoubtedly cause strain on the servers. The same thing happened with 3DS's release and complaints abounded concerning lag, only for the problem to mostly resolve itself sometime later after launch hype died down.

But it can't be helped, and this game will be getting 9s everywhere regardless, so whatevs.

WingedSnagret commented on Little Mac Is Officially The Least Successful ...:

I've dubbed Little Mac the For Glory noob character. I can't tell you how many times I faced someone playing whoever, have them lose, then immediately switch to Little Mac the next match.

Then some tosses off the stage later, they quit. :p

WingedSnagret commented on Mother 4 Is On The Way, But It's Not Being Mad...:

On the one hand, yes, they should either be making this in the likeness of Mother or getting Nintendo's permission.

But then again fans are getting tired of big companies ignoring demands that have been ringing for years or even decades (Mega Man is a huge example), and now some are old enough to take matters in their own hands.

Overall this isn't right, but I can't blame them either.

WingedSnagret commented on Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS Brings Circ...:

My circle pad isn't in any real danger of damage but still I'm really hoping for control customization that allows for D pad movement instead of taunts anyway. The circle pad just feels so awkward and imprecise for the intense reactions Smash requires.

WingedSnagret commented on Watch Dogs Wii U Release Dates Confirmed:

And we all know how this will go down:

It'll barely sell and Ubi will put the blame on Nintendo even though they made the decision to release the game on the other two consoles months prior.

Wouldn't be at surprised whatsoever if this is the last game they'll ever publish on a Nintendo console.
