Vladex commented on Nintendo Goes Download-Only With The 2014 Club...:

This is a bit disappointing. I was looking forward to getting something great after finally hitting Platinum status, and instead the reward is just a few games, most of which are Virtual Console titles I could pick up for less than $5, if I didn't already own them. Honestly, if they're going to force us to choose digital rewards, than I'd have been happier with eShop credit; then I could buy whatever I wanted.

Vladex commented on Poké Transporter Confirmed for X & Y:

I'm just glad that they've finally announced that there's a way to transfer older Pokemon. I've been playing older games recently (Platinum and Soul Silver, specifically), and getting older Pokemon that I really wanted. I'd hate to think all my work had been wasted, so this makes me really happy. I wonder how soon you'll be able to use this, though. Will you potentially be able to send over an older starter to use alongside the two you get in X and Y and use it from the beginning, or will it be like Black/White/Black 2/White 2 where you need to reach a certain point in the game in order to transfer your older Pokemon?

Vladex commented on Pachter: Price Cut Unlikely To Help Wii U With...:

So Pachter is predicting that Wii U sales are -lower- in March, the first month in some time where several new games were released, than they were in February, when there -weren't- new titles?

This guy really needs to get a new job.

Vladex commented on Nintendo Unveils The Legend of Zelda: Wind Wak...:

Dang, this is exciting! The minute they said this was coming, I knew the Wii U was worth every penny (as if there was ever any real doubt). This is definitely my favorite game in the series, so having this opportunity is unbelievable! I just hope they don't move too far away from the cel-shaded original version; it's hard to tell in the screenshots, and this is still a little early, I'm sure (since they didn't even show any footage of the remake, just pictures), so they may end up making it look a little closer to the original. Either way, I'm so ready for this!

Vladex commented on Nintendo Is Not Working On Fix For Wii U's Slo...:

You might want to double-check the source: Engadget didn't say that Nintendo isn't working on an update at all, just that the December release-date was referring to the Dragon Quest X update. At least, that's how I read it. I could be wrong, but I find it difficult to believe that Mr. Iwata would bring up the slow OS, let alone apologize, if Nintendo had absolutely no plans to address it. That's what I'm hoping anyway...
