@Tiredman Sonic Lost World was just fine. (Better than Captain Toad/NSMBU anyway). Any problems are the fault of the player not the game. Sonic Boom was contracted out. (Sega do seem to get screwed over by developers all the time. Gearbox should have gone bankrupt for Alien Isolation).

I guess we will see what happens. Other people will appear that are willing to do it - the question is whether the guys who won't accept it will make any difference. (Personally any opinion that puts ad revenue above actually showing the games they think are the best is one I am not interested in).

@JaxonH My main hope is on Splatoon being one of the best selling Wii U games. (If that does happen then it will send a good message to Nintendo that a great game made from a great idea can be successful).

I am going to get Codename Steam but I am not expecting any great miracles when it comes to sales.

Dunno about Fire Emblem I am (still) enjoying the GBA VC Fire Emblem more than I did Awakening. (I did finish Awakening on hard with 2 or 3 restarts but I feel as if wasn't a clean win. The GBA one it feels like I have won in a fair way).

@DiscoGentleman Basically the entireity of social science is situations like this. http://www.thecollegefix.com/post/20375 - They come up with something they feel should be correct and then mess around with numbers until it looks plausible.
That is why they hate evolutionary psychology so much because it uses proper methods as much as possible.
The problem at the very top is real.
But the women earn less one isn't it doesn't take into account that on average they choose to work less hours.
Stuff like say there is two scholarships one for anybody one for only women. First has say 50 people going for it second has 3. If it was about equality then the feminists would want to be treated equally i.e 2 scholarships no special privileges for either men or women.

@Dogpigfish That statistic is deliberately misleading like nearly all of the rubbish produced by such people. (Most of the time it is debunked when somebody who understands the Maths bothers to but not before it affects government and corporate policy).

There is lots more women who play casual games and there is a few genres (In console / PC gaming) where there are a reasonable proportion of women playing them.

That statistic counts anybody who has ever played a game. (Play Pacman once in the early 80's it counts even if you never touched a game since).

@AugustusOxy I somewhat agree. Mob rule is not justice in any way shape or form.

@DiscoGentleman Feminism isn't about equal rights not any more. The women who are about that and identify as feminists get incredible amounts of hate from the mainstream feminists. (i.e the ones in the media). If they are about equal rights they should identify as egalitarians. Feminism now is about special privileges for women. As a female going into a male dominated industry you get special privileges (Higher chance of interview and job) the same doesn't apply to a male going into a female dominated industry. Look at the hate from the feminism movement towards http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erin_Pizzey

I hope for more of the buy x amount of recent games get another recent game free type promotions. Thing about those is I would end up with something I wouldn't be willing to buy but if I did happen to buy it then I would buy the next entry.

@GreatPlayer Burning Depths - Trick is use Amy's Speed Mod. Can just play it normally like any other track then.

Reason I stopped playing it is the exploit where you fail a stunt boost and then flip back. (And that there are trainers that work on the latest version - too many Brazilians with unlimited items / boosts).

@Luna-Harmony But with Blu-Ray it is the choice of the company making the content whether to lock it or not. A decent amount is Region AB (Which all apart from Russia / China).

@JaxonH Other alternative is just add English to the Japanese release which for the Vita people are doing. Apparently the Japanese version of the updated Bravely Default release can do that as well.

@Yosher I think they do lose when proper High Street specialist games shops are selling USA games. (e.g Mario 64 they are doing that for at one close to me right now). Just making it a choice (And locking the 1st party) I don't see why they don't go for that.

(The Louvre guide shows it is possible for them to do).
