@GuyWithTheGames the delay will most likely be due to Europe having way more languages to translate for then as you said, classification. However Nintendo have more experience of this system than any other company on earth. The reason this is being delayed is because it wasn't finished/submitted with enough time to clear for the date provided by themselves. They failed to meet their own deadline.....

@agqwestern agreed, like my earlier post said, I think this was planned as an e shop game but is being fleshed out to fill MASSIVE EMPTY SPACES in the release schedule. Its cringe worthy , Nintendo's track record of getting games to shelves on time and when needed most. We all want better games but nobody wants such a barren period without games either!

Say whaaaat!! Bit gutted about this tbh, I get the impression they are trying to flesh out the content of this to justify a retail release. It's a very poor showing from Nintendo regardless since they had momentum to build on after e3 and delays and set backs are nobody's favourite headlines!! What will Nintendo actually have released in 2014? I'll be surprised if ssb makes it out in time and everything else is second/third-party. Of course mk8 is amazing but we all knew that would sell.....What I don't see is any plans to use the popularity to shift console's with more releases soon afterwards!!

I like this type of game but I never bothered with track editors in the past and I've got about a third of tnt racing left so let's hope there's a few patches and a sale due for this one later.

@ninjapigstudios I'm keen on this type of game, I like puzzles and 'brain teasers' , especially if there is a good sense of humour thrown in. I'm in the UK so any info on release dates and more importantly price?, the uk gets a raw deal on exchange rates very often!!
Also, I would suggest scheduled dlc and added content for this type of game to keep intrest high and stop people complaining about content. For example, a monthly puzzle, future free updates or challenges.....a little more episodic maybe?
Also, the guy in this trailer has a very boring voice, doesn't so allot to make the game sound 'fun'!!

Good news, I'll pick this up at some point if the price is right. I still havnt gone back to no 2 since I suffered from platfomer overload a year ago and left it about half complete. It deserves to be finished.....Great visuals, interesting story and inventive co op gameplay.

Great work Nintendo.......I will buy your older games for that price as it's fair and great value. It's has taken SOOO long but the vc/1st party sales have started arriving I'm happy. I know we all want n64 and gc games but there seems to be some real effort going into the vc lately!

Game are dead to Nintendo fans in the UK, wouldn't be suprised if this is to clear stock so they can remove the Wii u from their listings completely......I've got mine already, but do yourself a favour and buy from somewhere else. Pay more if you have to, because some retailers will actually restock with more games and provide better stock/prices in future!!

ULTRA-64 commented on Talking Point: Should Nintendo Be Promoting Th...:

I sell phones and tablets for a living so it's a strange thought trying to pitch a Wii u alongside an iPad......in my house it does replace the need for a tablet, it does everything my phone doesn't so I'm happy. To the general public it would be a hard sell, most people expect multi-touch technology as standard and buttons and sticks would be confusing to some. The range is very poor and angry birds is best played on the loo ;) the screen quality is fine, people have mentioned that being bad but the type of apps people use don't require great graphics. Media playing like downloaded movies is something the Wii u wasn't built to do because streaming is the norm more and more so that's no major problem to most. All in all I think the type of people that would 'get' the console for the tablet would already have a console and a tablet so there isn't enough of a real advantage over that combo sadly.
The big thing that imo is the most baffling and the lack of the one feature that would have been a big ADVANTAGE ....a DVD/blu-Ray player, with the option to watch on the gamepad. True , streaming is taking over but that adds a feature to a house without internet/reception which would be hard for true tablets to rival.

ULTRA-64 commented on Poll: Which Is The Best Legend Of Zelda Game?:

I voted oot (64) because I distinctly remember everything that happened in it. I've loved every Zelda game I've played (console's only =( ) but I forget most of what happened in them except for the basic story. Except for ocarina which was my first emotional experience with a game!! I'm worried about skyward sword, I stopped playing it about half way through and haven't gone back yet. I like it but I've NEVER not finished a Zelda I started before!?!

ULTRA-64 commented on Review: Wii Sports Club (Wii U):

On another note, this 'Wii u sports club' fiasco is actually the perfect example of Nintendo's poor handling of bringing the Wii u to market. So many decision changes and mistakes in marketing have created the opposite effect of Wii sports massive success alongside the Wii, with this really representing a back track for the initial Wii u launch strategy.

Well I think that discount will tempt me to finally buy nes remix 2. Not a massive saving but takes the sting out It a little! It'll be a little treat as I'm getting my cast on my broken left thumb removed tomorrow morning. I haven't played a platform game in twelve weeks.....it's been hard!!

I voted bayonetta but it was 50/50 with captain toad. I don't find driving games without green shells fun no matter how pretty! I've tried to like smash bros many times in the past but can't get into it and my intrest in watch dogs is waining.....hyrule warriors and sonic are definitely in the waiting for review category.

ULTRA-64 commented on GAME's One Day Mario Kart 8 Deal, for £29.99,...:

@Mooj738 well said, the uk is full of dudebro gamers obsessed with cod/creed/fifa. Nintendo has completely failed to gain any respect from these types in general and this has led to a very bad reputation for the Wii u in particular. Brand awareness for Nintendo in the UK is rock bottom, the game stores in my city (Yorkshire) have 2 shelves for Nintendo products In total (mostly Wii!). Minecraft alone has 4, xb360 has 6, xbone has 5 and the ps section has a total of 14 shelves!!!! Even the mk8 posters they put up for a total of 3 days were upside down. Pathetic. It's my opinion that game, the shop brand, is a major part of this culture and a major obstacle in the respect struggle. They openly ridiculed me when I waited to collect my Wii u pre order, trying to sell me a ps3 while I was literally in line to collect! They only order Wii u games on request, query why I'd want to buy a game on Wii u when others are better EVERY TIME I ask for one and in one instance I had to correct a staff member when she told a customer the Wii u was already cancelled and not to bother......this was about 6 weeks ago!!

Looks like the kind of game I'd get into, hope it pops up on Wii u at some point. There's still no trials style game on the e shop which is a shame since they're ten a penny on tablets so conversion would be straightforward.

Looks great to me, just what the Wii u needs. I understand why people would find this strange on a Nintendo platform but if it can't win the marketing/graphics war then the Wii u must imo, try to have the most diverse gameplay options to win people over. I love the selection already available but you need games 'like' this to get the playground hype. The fact that it's exclusive makes this an important one in the library.

Sounds interesting to me, I'd love to see some inspiration taken from zombie u!! Not the cricket bat, but the master vs survivor formula with a person trying to live through challenges set/controlled by the gamepad player! You could use an interactive dungeon, placeable hazards and enemies and of course collectable weapons. Online leaderboards for times- zeldatv (mk8style) and wait for it.......Online events like winner stays on tournaments against Nintendo staff controlled dungeon......you get the idea =)

I like the way the final sports have been bundled together. Tempting......I guess a free trial will help me decide.
Like somebody posted above, will the sports resort games be given the hd treatment? If so, which ones or would it be a bundle. Personally I'd love to see them as little freebies, even if over time, as they were a little less 'fleshed out' but more fun- I want to see my arrow hit the bullseye in the gamepad 😉

ULTRA-64 commented on Mercedes DLC Confirmed for Mario Kart 8 in the...:

I'll get it, it does look wierd but I like the quirky look of it somehow!
My view on this is that if Nintendo are looking for more revenue, let Mercedes pump in the cash, NOT customers. There are far worse ways to squeeze cash out of a game than sponsorship of free karts. If this was paid I'd have a problem but it's free, you don't HAVE to get it to if don't want. it won't effect the price you paid or you gaming experience.

ULTRA-64 commented on Review: How to Survive (Wii U eShop):

@Anguspuss cheers for that. 100% agree, there is a lack of this type of game on Wii u. I like twin stick shooters and feel this will have allot more on offer than say ,nano assault neo, a great looking game with almost zero depth. Maybe it's just me but the zombie games always appeal, the reviewer here talked about the genre being played out but imo the most overdone thing on Wii u is 2d platform games and they don't get trashed in the same way here. It's all opinions of course ;)

Wow, I never expected such a low score! Know it's not perfect but other reviews have been allot more positive. I love zombie games so I'm biased and will buy this regardless but a 5 seems harsh. Anyone know of Wii u features - off screen play etc?
