I'll be getting blok drop x twisted fusion as its a bargain for a wee bit of gaming fun. I want gunman Clive HD Collection but that can wait till I have more time/money.
I havnt even played my runbow demo yet so no rush there either! The one that excites me most on paper is zombie defence as I love every part of the description but I'll wait for a review before I splurge hard cash on a gamble!

@crimsontadpoles maybe you could train/condition yourself to like the word more and get you excited instead!?! Try things like sticking the word to pizza and cake, spelling it in alphabet soups and cerial, calling pets and loved ones nindies or even replacing a 'good word' like 'great' with nindie.......like " I thought that Mario kart lap was nindie" or " what a game, it really is nindie, I love it"
Hope this works (too far.....??)

@XCWarrior I thought you might have had a bit of time with this already......I saw your name on those leader boards!! I'm UK so I've only just had a few days practice but I'm a wee bit addicted so I'll hunt your scores down
My NNID is PUKE if you see me catching up

I'm working to a 'finish 3 games, buy one ' ratio at the moment to clear my backlog. I've got 2 to go before I buy devil's third......hoping it's cheaper by then
Also, sick of seeing that title referred to as a fps when the game is in third person....shooter yes/fps no!!

@JakeOfAllTrades this 'they might have one so I need one' attitude is exactly the problem with the attitude towards guns in America......
You do realize that there are many countries around the world that have access to guns legally but don't go out and shoot up schools, carry guns on the street for 'protection', or have most robbery and criminal activity involve guns? America is in a REALLY REALLY bad state regarding attitude towards guns, they are regarded by many as a normal every day item needed to protect the home/self/country when the facts say the opposite. More guns = more deaths , no matter how they are regulated, this is fact!!
The innocent people are always more at risk when the average person in the street defends their need for a murder weapon by saying it makes them safer!! It symbolizes the weakness in humans that we feel the need to feel stronger by holding in our hands something that can kill.....

I don't really have time for handhelds normally but as the Wii u games are slowly running out I'm a bit tempted......
They have a 3ds-xl Luigi edition for £75 in a local second hand store and if it's there when I get paid next week!?!!

I'd probably say that Mario games have been some of the least multiplayer friendly platform games I've played. I love Mario games but I'd never think about multiplayer as a major plus unless it's passing the pad back and forth to get the challenges completed.......

That's crazy, the complete hypocrisy of a tittie filled newspaper saying a toy is inappropriate!!!

@Kaze_Memaryu I'm assuming from your statements that you must HATE splatoon? This is by far the most multiplayer only game available on the Wii u. I finished the single player 'campaign' in less than 4 hours.......devils third has had allot of bad press but the single player campaign is described as substantial in most cases and as 'a hefty experience' in this very article!?!

I won't be pre ordering until I hear how much the download option is going on to cost me. I have no interest in the free junk buy I'd prefer physical. However I need to reduce my gaming spending so somethings gotta give.....

@aaronsullivan @Plainsville well done, you both just convinced me..... I needed that push
One thing I'll be waiting on reviews for is whether the user made levels are download onto your console for play offline or it you play from the web live streaming. My internet is terrible so being able to set a group of levels downloading and going to bed to play the next day would be ideal for me and would seal the deal!!

I'm so on the fence with this. I'm sure the quality will be great but I'm not into level building options in games........there will be other players levels to play, but I won't make any......I've got too many games at the moment, but the collectors pack will be rare and it's the 30th anniversary.... Arrrrggghhh!!

@antdickens big respect for commenting here man, would be easy to avoid the stress.
In a sense, there is a big compliment to the site that we REALLY DO respect the opinions of this site. This just means on the negative, if people believe it let them down in some way, there is a bigger deal than maybe you deserve created in the aftermath.....

So having watched both videos now, I feel even more confused than ever.....Nintendolife, you have completely lost my trust on the handling of this. I won't say anyone is wrong, it's all opinions, but the childish reactions and contradictory opinions have meant that I'll form my opinions of this particular game away from this site. I love your coverage of all my favourite Nintendo news and ALWAYS go straight to your reviews as I trust you. For me to continue this I need to put this game to one side and ignore it. To be clear, it's not the game I'm referring to here it's the handling of it which I can't abide, sorry guys.

@Genesaur yeah you make a great point, the handling of this will be a fascinating story when the details come out. The result, good or bad, will have had little support from Nintendo. With them as you said so supportive of the bayonetta games including costume rights etc, and saving this from oblivion in similar circumstances it's very strange overall....
would it be too wild a guess to suggest that itagki pissed off some people within the hierarchy(particularly NOA) with some trash talk of some kind!?!

Is itagaki acting like a spoiled kid .....yes!
Do we expect a professional journalists reaction to equal the immaturity and pompous attitude of the man? Hell no!!!!!
You have let people down by snapping at his bait Nintendo life, I'm disappointed tbh.
On the game front , looks interesting but flawed, like starfox for example......

"Takeda-san, currently co-leading the company on an interim basis with Satoru Iwata" do you not mean shigeru miyamoto!?!
Great eulogy though for a great man, many company directors get famed for the money they made. It makes me really happy that iwata will be remembered for the lives he touched. Now THAT is successful!!

Wow, there's some real negative views in this thread!! Options are like a- holes.....everyone has one!
If you were to be a prospective 3rd party development team and you saw all this outrage over a recommendation on which controllers are best for a game he designed of a style he pioneered and most importantly NONE OF YOU HAVE PLAYED! It really sells us short as open minded Nintendo gamers, you can use either, he just preferred one of the methods. No argument needed, follow your OWN preferred method.
I mean if it was him and not splatoon that recommended strapping a wiimote to the pad using shoelaces he'd have been ridiculed and chased off the internet judging by this forum!!

@rjejr agreed, the game pad mis-use/ignoring is by far the biggest reason the Wii u has failed imo.
it's like a catch 22 for Nintendo, they don't want their devices to be 'multimedia electronics' (no DVD player/usb plug and play etc.) But then they have YouTube/Netflix apps for media and boast of the interactive tvii app (fail) and tv remote features as part of your living room electronics.
The bottom line is tablet devices are made to be portable, multipurpose, connective and independent. The game pad is none of those things and simply isnt as good in any way except analogue sticks at doing 'tablet tasks'! I find it strange that Nintendo, a company famed for new ideas and risk taking has not even tried one new thing with the game pad with regards to apps or stand alone software. Is a panoramic flight with birds the best they could think off when they were thinking how the hardware could be used best!?!
