Ulala commented on Feature: The Big Nintendo E3 Survey:

I though it was actually pretty good. I know I've been hearing some people complaining about wanting another Galaxy game, but Super Mario 3D World fits into another different catagory.

Here's a Youtube Comment from Tylerburrito: http://youtu.be/8zy-ZBdNj0o
"The people who praise Mario 64 and Sunshine for being "open world" are idiots. They're barely open world, they're structural missions sprawled across medium-sized worlds. You pick an objective and OCCASIONALLY you can do the mission that you didn't pick, and that's the only part that doesn't make it linear, and it isn't even a very fun aspect of it."

I don't know if people see this in the WiiU & XBox versions of this game, but has anyone ever noticed that characters with hair animations have their hair moving, even though the vehicle isn't moving? An example of that is with Sonic's spines--It moves (as if it were being pushed by wind) when he moves his head/steering wheel left or right. It's very odd and it doesn't have that "Nintendo" quality because of it. I asked Steve Lycett about it and he said "there are already enough animations as it is." What kind of effort is that?!

Ulala commented on Here's What The Next Mario Kart Looks Like:

@Shadowing27 Taiko Drum Masters!!! Whoever made the level design for these tracks, Nintendo should take note, or include/remake them on to Mario Kart WiiU.
I really love the Asian-themed tracks, but why Taiko Drum Masters?
Gotta like the Mario-themed track :)

Ulala commented on Mario Kart (Tentative Title):

Nintendo should have different costumes for characters, that way people can pick the same character (offline) and it would be easier to tell them apart online.
Mario - Dr.Mario, Sunshine Mario, Pirate Mario
Peach - Nurse Peach, Long-Haired Peach, Pirate Peach
and so forth...(some from Mario Party 2)

Ulala commented on Mario Kart Wii U Driving Into E3 This Year:

So nobody thinks that Nintendo should include more human female racers?
I'm tired of limited female choice. In the Wii, only 6 females:
1 Large/Heavy - Rosalina.
2 Medium - Peach, Daisy (Not Birdo since it's male, even though it's seen as female).
3 Light - Baby Peach, Baby Daisy, and Toadette.

In my opinion, baby-fied females aren't too good. I'd like 4 human female racers that are around Medium to Heavy/Large.
They should also bring back Cheese Land, it was great :) and more haunted tracks.

Ulala commented on Feature: The Biggest 3DS Games of 2013:

@X-Factor Those games are good, but as far as drama goes for 2012, BORING
I think it was really a boring year based on my experience. But I really think that most if not some 3DS games felt too short. It's because of the friends list. Some would expect to play for long hours over wifi but the thing is that there really isn't anything to earn after the games are finished since they're short. I would talk more on why but maybe later.

What makes this game of having a lesser chance of being localized is this (just some):
1. I think people in the US might not know even half of the character roster. The game could go in 3 directions.

1.1 People get interested/ amused and would like to try or purchase the game, or hear good/hyped reviews.

1.2 People are too confused/unsure, or they have lack of interest, or they hear bad reviews, OR the see many pre-own/overstock of the game and assume.

1.3 People might purchased pre-own instead of new, or they get it new, then decide to return it and abandon it as if it were a baby donkey

2. I'm in it for Ulala, what she says, and her "own" voice (since trailer says it's her own voice). I also like stories

Ulala commented on Game of the Year: Nintendo Life's Community Aw...:

@LZBirdboi Well when it comes to games like that, I usually like to know which of the two performed the best. Especially when it comes to how many were sold (but I know this isn't about how many were sold, I know). But what I find to be perplexing is this: If a number of people like Black, and they voted for it, they're also voting for White as well (and some prefer to vote for just one instead of two). Even though you say that they are the same game with "MINOR" differences, it still doesn't matter to me (one always makes up for the other).

@ThomasBW84 I gotta say, I almost felt a little bias from the results. I'm saying this because of the DS Retail Game: Pokemon B&W 2. In my opinion I feel that the games should be treated separately somehow because this information doesn't tell which of the two did better.

SEGA should give Ulala's IP to Nintendo because it's like they never use her at all. Even though she's in Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed, she was used by SUMO, not SEGA. SEGA also never gives any other franchises their break.

Man, I'll miss Nintendo Power. I use to have all the issues, even the very first issue, but my mom just "HAD" to throw em' away... :( I still remember a picture in one of the issues where Kirby was outside his restaurant (I think) and Links tunic was being pushed up by the air from the subway vent on the sidewalk (or something).

@MrWalkieTalkie I COMPLETELY agree. MKDD with online play would be a fantastic idea (as long as Nintendo pulls it off right). I can also imagine 16 players at once. Sharing a kart with friends using two game-pads or online friends. It would be much easier to switch from driver to stander online if their were an indicator showing you that your friend is pressing the switch button. And if there is a mic built in, (which I'm sure there is) they can tell you to switch.

Ulala commented on Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed Lines Up ...:

@cyphid That can actually be a problem. A very big problem. Why I'm saying this is because most developed games usually connect to the internet somehow. Most games would usually rely on updates to fix them in some way, but not everyone has internet access. Remember those games like Mario Party, GoldenEye, Donkey Kong, etc. Well they would take a long time to release because it shouldn't have glitches (even though they still had). "The beauty of modern games is updates; if Sega doesn't have a high frame rate a simple patch/update could do the trick." Well for every beauty there is, there's usually an ugly too. I'm not sure where I'm getting at but I guess what I'm trying to say is that I don't see why games can't be fixed before they launch. It may take longer, but sometimes, it makes it all the better. After all, you wouldn't want extreme lag in a game for the NES, SNES, N64, GBA, Genesis, Dreamcast, Saturn, etc.

@sinalefa Well I guess I learned something today. I didn't really think of telling people that their are limited quantities as a marketing strategy. But If what they said is true about it being limited, there's gonna be crazy, over-dramatic comments. :|

@grumblebuzzz Well to answer your question I still have SPP. Here's what the in-game glossary says:
Walruss - "Apparently spends time on ice eating snow cones"
And also, I was right!!! Nintendo's underwater version of bullet bill is called "Torpedo Ted"
Here's what the glossary says:
Torpedo Ted - "An underwater version of Bullet Bill. Watch out!"
and it was from Super Princess Peach!
I guess Big N remembers the old game, or more likely, Super Mario World. :) (Practically remains true to it's original design, few differences)

EDIT: Differences as in from the WiiU version (Check image at top of page)

Ulala commented on Does This iOS Monster Battling Game Remind You...:

@RupeeClock Only a few, partially unnoticeable differences.
1.From Bigs chest to his belly is white fur. Whiscats fur is chest to mouth/muzzle/?
2.The insides of Bigs ears are white. Whiscats is yellow.
3.Bigs white fur on his face reaches to the sides. Whiscats white fur is on his muzzle/mouth and the fur on the side of his face is purple.
4.On Bigs head, there is a triangular shaped pattern/patch that ends between his eyes. Whiscat doesn't have that pattern/patch.

There are more differences that are more obvious, like Whiscat:
.Has no boots
.Has no gloves
.Has no belt

Also I'm not good at correct grammar.
