@AhabSpampurse about the wires adapter - I think he is just being honest and straight forward. Wireless has much, much more latency than wired connections no matter what. It is possible to tweak some wireless settings to improve connections, but most people do not have the technical know how to tweak their routers. I have a PS3 and the wired connection has far better performance online over the wireless.

Come on, Ubisoft... you really need to stop dissing a company that has put a lot of $ in your pockets. Let's Dance has done quite nicely for you on Nintendo Consoles, so show us some love by putting some effort into your New Nintendo games. Was the Rayman fallout not a big enough sign?

Our family uses the Gamepad daily. My son loves to watch Netflix on it, and we use off screen play for many of our games.
coming from the PC world, I never could stand split screen play. When the Gamepad allowed to play lego games with one on the gamepad and one on the screen, it was awesome! We also play Tank, Tank Tank, Mario games, Nintendoland and others using the gamepad.
In a nutshell, many of us use the gamepad and enjoy it!

I bought one the first week, and love it! I just upgraded to an XL over Christmas and gave my 3DS to my son. I own a nice tablet and a Galaxy 4 phone, and not one single game even approaches the fun we have had with our 3DS' s. There are still multiple games on my "must buy" list that have been out for over a year or two. Just so many fun things to do with it!

All the whining about the Bay movies! You all do realize the movies are based on a toy franchise, right? As in toys for kids, right? What do you expect the movies to do? I enjoyed all of them for what they were. Entertainment. When movies are made, there is no time to go into a dep backstory that the few thousand superfans want to see. Everything must fit into a 1 1/2 hour movie, so compromises need to be made. Even the awkward decision to have Shia LeDouche in the movie was balanced by having Megan Fox...

I think this is a fine idea. My daughter enjoys watching videos targeted at her demographic, why would it be different for the worlds other girls? Having a female perspective on a game or a system seems like a pretty logical move.

How about a team up with Notch - a Wii U Minecraft bundle! That would sell like hotcakes. Even thougg I am not sure how quickly hotcakes really sell.
With millions of copies of Minecraft sold on the other two consoles, I can imagine a boxed bundle would do quite nice.

I was reading the rules, and saw that if any Canadians win, they have to answer a "Math question" over the phone in order to be eligible! That is very odd, but I suppose the Canadians have a reason for it! I will have to look that up.

@Kamalisk yes. That is how game programming works across multiple platforms using different hardware. One button exists that converts every piece of code from xbox360, ps3, ps and Wii U. That is also how cross platform games are made. Just click a button and Presto! New code for a new console! The gamepad, on the otherhand, requires the programmers to flick an actual switch to add full gamepad support. The Kinect for the Xbox is a dial that is turned. See how easy game programming is!

My daughter has Just Dance 2013 for the Wii U and it is a big hit at sleepovers and weekend get togethers with her friends. We often have four kids dancing and one on the Gamepad drawing on the screen. I would love to have a parental option to block certain songs, as there are always one or two that a 12 year old really does not need to see the lyrics to!
It is hard to justify a yearly update, as they still have fun with the version they have. Maybe the 2015 version...

I really enjoyed both Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass. I think people whine about these games due to the control schemes. while I would prefer a standard control scheme, the one they use is easy to get used to. ALBW is just plain awesome sauce. I am certain overall it will outsell the other DS games.
