@ikki5 I pity you. I truly do. It's like someone robbed the joy and life from you and it's just negative, negative, negative. How sad. How pathetic. Just need to stop gaming. Period. Seriously, I don't understand how you can possibly enjoy gaming with the absolutely disgusting, foul and incredibly negative view points, opinions and thoughts you have, not to mention amazingly asinine and silly. It's understandable if your upset with something thats more logical to complain about, but this is just silly. I've said this about a view individuals here, but I pray to God that I never become such a jaded and deluded person. There's no point in gaming with such a disgusting attitude. There just isn't.

And no, I will not respond to your childish, bullcrap retorts, nor your garbage rhetoric. I won't succumb myself to such negativity and foolishness, not any longer. If I were you, I would seriously consider either moving on from all things Nintendo or just stop gaming in general. Clearly, it's doing more harm than good in your mind.

@FLUX_CAPACITOR Let me just say how thrilled I am to see you so frequently provide facts, reasons and logic to the matter. Your among a few here who aren't anal about every little thing and don't have a giant stick shoved up their arse every time Nintendo does something or someone company does something in conjunction with Nintendo. It's refreshing to say the least.

That being said, I fear your words won't reach most of these super negative individuals with warped perceptions and views on Nintendo, their practices and their products. Mind you, I don't mind constructive criticism and being upset about things that legitimately deserve to be upset about, but this article, and several others of Nintendolife, just proves how far gone some people here are and the depths of which they'll attack Nintendo and anything related to it. I sometimes wonder why this site is dedicated to Nintendo when more than half the people who comment on articles are also so angry, upset and complain about some of the most asinine things. Constantly looking at the glass half empty and too arrogant in themselves and their line of thinking to believe that anyone who says otherwise in regards to their opinions is right or has a point. No, they live in some screwed up mentality where everything Nintendo is doing and has been doing is some affront to them and nothing will please them. It's truly sad really, to see such large amounts of negativity congretating all in one spot with only a few individuals who aren't entrenched in some twisted logic.

With that being said, if you still want to tackle those who are disillusioned and filled with negativity, be my guest. I wish you the best of luck.

@faint People prefer to focus on the negative when it comes to video games now these days. Tis a sad truth unfortunately, but at least not everyone is like that. It's an incredible honour to be the first indie developer, or developer that's not Nintendo to have an Amiibo. Yacht Club games should be proud.

@JasonH I swear, the only reason I come to the site and read the comments is to see you provide logic, calm rational reasoning and facts to the discussion. It's a shame when I see so many comments missing the point or thinking they "have" to purchase an Amiibo or a piece of DLC. It's optional, therefore, you are not required to purchase it. Of course, there's so much negativity in today's gaming culture, it's become less about playing and having fun with the games and the products we buy, and more about complaining about every little thing under the sun, whether it be big or small. I just don't see the logic behind it really. What a colossal waste of time to continually be negative and have a depressing outlook on most things companies do, especially Nintendo it seems. It's like, why bother gaming if most of your time is spent complaining. Might as well just stop playing games at that point if it bothers you so, or go to PC gaming or something else.

Of course, I'm not saying you can't be critical towards something, but this is just ridiculous. So many asinine comments in this article. The entitlement is real. facepalm

You guys at Nintendolife will do anything to attack NoA, even if it's a rumour it seems. What a pathetic piece of shoddy journalism this article is, and most of the comments reek as well, following the same hive mind as you lot. I've seen a great deal of Nintendo websites, but this one continues to show just how bad journalism can be. That's quite a feat really, but not one you want to have. An absolutely disgusting article and a website too that breeds the worst Nintendo fans imaginable. The kind who pretend they like Nintendo but will take any jab they can to kick them while they are down and soil their name.

Syrek commented on Chris Pranger From Nintendo Treehouse Discusse...:

Wow! There is some MAJOR denial in the comments section for this article. I'm SO glad most of you are experts at localizing and think localizing is super easy and Nintendo should totally gamble with every game that people want to have localized. facepalm

This is why Chris Pranger is fudging annoyed because of gamers, like many of you, who think they know all and make localization sound like a piece of cake, when in reality, it's not. And for crying out loud, quit complaining about the region lock crap. The Nintendo fan base truly is some of the whiniest individuals I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. It makes me ashamed to be a Nintendo fan myself given how pompous and whiny the community is sometimes.

Syrek commented on Super Smash Bros. Is Getting A Massive Update ...:

@night If I could like your post, I most certainly would. I honestly couldn't agree more. The level of entitlement among Nintendo fans is beyond sickening and I too wish it would end. But unfortunately, it won't. We can only control ourselves and that's about it. So I will remain positive when something is given to me because life is too short to complain about something so trivial as video games. I may not like what the content being given to me by Nintendo all the time, but I don't have to. There will always be those who will enjoy something that I don't and vice versa. It doesn't mean I'm going to have a hissy fit about it or whine and complain over the internet as that does absolutely NOTHING! Not to mention it looks extremely childish to those who have their priorities in check.

Anyways, I'm kinda rambling on. Thank Naga I'm not the only one who is fed up with the entitlement that is constantly shown among gamers, not just Nintendo fans.

Syrek commented on Nintendo Explains Reasoning Behind Upcoming Mi...:

@Windy Miiverse isn't a place to have a nice chat about your friends day or having long conversations that ultimately become popular posts, even though the content is not related to the community. If you want to chat with friends, there's a message system for that which is separate from Miiverse communities. Nintendo just wants to keep Miiverse tidy and not have all the popular posts being about leaving a comment on which character in Smash Bros. is gonna win this match or begging for likes. I'm very happy that they are taking this approach. I always find it amusing when people get so upset over Nintendo establishing rules or changing things. I facepalm whenever someone compares Nintendo to Nazi's. It just goes to show how childish they are.

Syrek commented on Get Messy in Splatoon's Latest Free Stage, Kel...:

@Yorumi No, I'm praising them for continuing to generate hype and interest for existing and new players. It's smart and I credit Nintendo for doing something like this. The content that's already available is already SUPER addicting and fun. I've spent SO many hours playing the game with just the "limited" content that is available, as are many others, and I'm enjoying every bit of it. If you want to call foul and have a hissy fit about it, that's your call, but I'm throughly enjoying Splatoon for what it currently is and I'm looking forward to them unlocking more content every week.

Continue to bash on what Nintendo is doing all you want, cry foul until everybody hears you, but no matter what, I'm going to enjoy this game and I won't let your pessimistic outlook on what they are doing with Splatoon diminish my hype and fun. I pray to God that I never become as jaded, cynical or as whiny as you.

@Yorumi It's not screwing customers if it's free. Your logic is rather flawed. I like the steady stream of content, on disc or not. I haven't been this addicted to a video game in quite some time and having something to look forward to each week just sweetens what is already a sweet game.

Syrek commented on Splatoon Producer Inks Out Reasons For Lack Of...:

I for one am thankful that voice chat was not included. The game does not need it given how much info it gives you via the Gamepad, the smartly designed maps and the ink trails that both your allies and enemies leave. I really don't see the point in regards to adding voice chat to Splatoon when it clearly does not need it. And why would you want to use the Wii U mic as an option for talking with friends? The quality is awful. Might as well use Skype or other chatting services that are free and have higher quality.

It's clear to me and many others here that Splatoon DOES NOT need voice chat whatsoever. Because of the lack of voice chat, it's provided a pleasant online experience for me and many others, and it keeps the game at a rocking 60FPS, which is vital.

@Yorumi I love how easily you will attack Nintendo at any opportunity that is presented to you and continually jump to conclusions before all the facts are in front of you. For someone who comes across as an intelligent individual, you really don't convey it very well with the arguments you create.

Syrek commented on New Wii Zelda Artwork Leaked?:

It was stated that this new Zelda takes place in a completly new era, which removes the Twilight Princess sequel or Link from that era. I do feel strongly about that girl being the incarnation of the Master Sword but we'll see if our predicitons were flat out wrong when next year arrives.

Syrek commented on Nintendo Download: Flip Champs, Final Fantasy ...:

FFIV: The After Years and Mighty Flip Champs is what I'll be downloading today. Not sure what to expect from the overall packages from both titles but I have a feeling I will not be disappointed. I'm hoping the FFIV:AY will have reasonable prices in regards to episodes so we won't feel shafted if the final product is only mediocure and we just shelled out over $30.

So far Nintendo is holding up with three Nintendo Downloads in a row that havn't down right sucked. Will Nintendo continue with this trend of good downloads? Only time will tell.

Syrek commented on Japanese Virtual Console list - June 2009:

This is really pissing me off. Nintendo has treated Japan like their the favorite child, giving them a list of VC games in advance, while we are left in the dark with only an ESRB rating to give us hope of a games impending release to europe or America. There is no reason why they cannon do the same for us.

And what exactly is with this 3 VC, 3 WW downloads for Japan? Good grief, its like they think were incompotent and couldn't handle so many downloads for one day. Stop giving us DSi, with the exeption of last monday, and give us some more VC and premium WW titles. Learn how to market properly Nintendo!!!

Sorry, I just had to get that off my chest. It's been bugging me for sometime now and this massive amount of content plus a list just made me infuruated about how were being shafted.

Syrek commented on Check Out Some Final Fantasy IV: The After Yea...:

Episodic content is a fickle mistress and I say this with complete certainty. On the one hand you have episodic games or content if you will that is successful like the Half Life episodes where the length is appropriate, there is enough gameplay to sate you for the next installment, and lastly you get your bang for your buck and aren't tricked into selling your soul or anything as tramtic. Then you have episodic games or content which does the complete opposite and makes you feel like the company of said game or content just raped you in a dark alley while taking all your money.

Square has done a bit of episodic content or games, most recently the Crystal Defender games so they have some understanding of the episodic nature in which they are diving into.......I hope. Personally I enjoy the R1 and R2 games because of their addicting gameplay and FF Tactics feel but thats just me. To be perfectly honest, I will most like buy each episode of this game when it comes out because I liked FFIV so much and I'm sure Square knows this will be eaten up regardless of reviews or the cost.

@KnucklesSonic8- I've played R1 and R2 and if your into tower defense games or their gameplay and Final Fantasy you'll most likely enjoy it. I believe its worth the download and you do get what you pay, just in case you were wondering. The Nintendo Life Review definatly nails the first game on the head and the second improves on some of the lows of the first game so thats nice. I would definatly put it up there with the top 10 for sure in my opinion.

Finally!!! lol. Nintendo really knows how to make people question their sanity. Anyways, I must thank Nintendo for an awesome VC and Wiiware download. I will be downloading Majora and R2 for sure since I really liked R1 but I'm not sure about the silver or DSiware game. But whatever, two really good downloads is more than enough for me..........at least for now Enjoy your downloads everyone, you deserve them.

Syrek commented on Nintendo Download: Soccer, Pirates and Galaxie...:

@Bendover83 With all these great games still on the back burner, I'm sure we'll be suprised with the results of the 300th VC download. So far their streak with milestone VC content has been up to par and I appreciate that from NOA. However that does not excuse them for 6 weeks of nothing but mediocure games and content. I havn't downloaded anything since Super Punch-Out was released and that was 6 weeks ago as many of us know. I mean the only reason any of us are fustrated with the constant stream of downloads that have been occuring is that our favoirte games havn't been released yet or they weren't released on a key date and thats understadable. But NOA is playing this from a buisness standpoint. They know we want Majoras Mask, Earthbound and SSB but they're delaying us the satisfaction of having it on our Wii because they are spreading it out or at least trying to. I suppose the reason why nothing decent came in the month of April was because of the launch of the DSi but still how hard is it to emulate a game onto a system? Once the 300th VC download arrives I'm sure gamers such as us will quite down for a moment and enjoy the excellent game Nintendo has provided with us, considering they keep with the pattern that is. There will always be someone who was disappointed their game wasn't released but thats life and we must accept the fact that Nintendo has their own agenda weather it be absurd or not.

I really hope what I have said made sense, I am writing this from my DSi. All I have to say is just accept the fact that Nintendo is screwing with us and get excited for the 300th VC download.

Syrek commented on Nintendo Download: Soccer, Pirates and Galaxie...:

The only reason why I'm fustrated with Nintendo with these Monday Downloads is exactly what J.K. said about having SMK, Majora and Smash floating around in either ESRB rating holdings or they have been released in different countries. I swear, North America has been getting shafted lately with these less then mediocure downloads in my opinion. I really hope NOA really pull through for us and give us a good VC download for the 300th next week. I really don't understand why Majora is taking so long to get to America, I mean it only took Super Punch Out a week after EU's release to come to Americas VC. And yes I took into account the fact that an N64 game may take longer but I think Nintendo has the capabilities to bring it to us right away. They must be bringing Majora to us for the 300th cause I really can't think of a reason why they wouldn't bring it to us. But with Nintendo of America, you never know.

Syrek commented on Nintendo Download: Soccer, Pirates and Galaxie...:

What a surprise, another monday and no good Virtual Console games to download. One more week until we finally get some good VC games to download. I really thought something popular or at least nostolgic or perhaps something great would be avaliable for download this week but I guess Nintendo is reserving something special for its 300th download next week, at least I hope. You never know with Nintendo. I just hope I won't be disappointed by this 300th download, I mean we as gamers deserve something special for all the crap games that have come out in the past month or so, at least for me.
I mean not all the games that have been released later are crap but they certaintly aren't titles worth my Wii points. At the moment I could care less about Dsiware mainly because it still hasn't proved itself yet but then again its only been out for over a month.
Anyways my concluding thoughts amongst this rambling is why did I wake up for this? Nintendo had better make up for the lack in quality VC downloads with this 300th download. So what are your predictions for next weeks VC download?

Syrek commented on Nintendo Download: Clocks, Calculators, Pengui...:

Every monday I wake up, grab my DSi on my desk, go to the web browser and go to this website to see if Nintendo has finally released Majoras Mask or even SSB and anything else thats good enough to download. I have a bunch of points both on my Wii and DSi and for the past few weeks there's been nothing of interest to make me spend my points. I wouldn't call this download shovelware, rather disappointing to say the least. I mean we expect SSB to arrive on the monday of its 10th anniversary. That didn't happen. We expected Majoras Mask to be released the following week of Europes download. That also didn't come to pass. We either have high expectations of Nintendo or Nintendo is toying with us, at least until they release the 300th VC download. Either way, being disappointed by waking up early on a monday morning when I can get some more sleep only to find that the download is lacking on both systems really is a downer. Heck if it was the Mario themed clock and calculator I probably would have gotten those two but Animal Crossing really isn't a forte of mine.
