@TrueWiiMaster if the DSi was any example they will register it and give a 1 year warantee but no coins... the fifth second hand one I registered got no warantee. It depends on whether the original warantee from first person is still in effect.

@Tomography I too have had only good experiences. Nintendo sub-contratcs these repairs to independant (qualified electronics) repair facilities dependant on where you live.. geographically close to you... I feel their services is/are A+ better than any e-device of any type I've every owned.

@sillygostly I suspect the 'games' are downloaded versions as well, not likely physical.

@Tasuki wiping personal and finanacial info isn't the same as deleting games. I've bought several [systems] with eshop games still on them. Wiping those is a seperate step.

This was a good hidden object game, for the Dsi, highly addictive, but I imagine with the 3d it's better.

I'm in I want this. I collect laser cells of Fire Emblem series, numbered originals., also this game will be the best game for my 3ds until Advance Wars shows it's like again. heres hoping.

Personally I thought the last Sonic Racing was better, more unique than MK DS, even if the graphics could use a boost. So I have high hopes for this one. MK feels almost as though it's on rails to me, it's far too polished.. Games can be overdone in my opinion. Too 'whitebread', PC,family oriented etc...

best known online auction sells a great micro thin aluminum cover NO HINGE to break, velvet inside to prevent scratches, holds tight like second skin, the best I've gotten for any DS system yet, only $5. USD. they have every colour but white. Completely covers the 3ds colour except a tiny frame around the SD area. The paint coating feels like teflon, but very scratch resistent.. You would almost swear it had no cover.. no I don't sell them...

@StarDust ebay sells a nive reallly thin aluminum cover, that mimics the real ouside of 3ds XL without added bulk, and there's no hinge to break. Available in every colour except white. Best cover I've bought for any DS model.

It amazes me how many people are unaware of the new law(s) (precidence) that was set in the UK IIRC,Judges decided this: that once you buy a game from the manufacturer or retailer, that game , and its, container & code becomes YOURS to do with what you choose even to resell IN ANY FORM you choose....yes it includes rom form too. A shocking law to be sure.. This precidence was set before it ever came into question regarding ownership of code and the like as a questioned law, only recently BTW.

How can Reggie possibly think we want PINK more than we would want white (on original release)? This mans logic skills leave much to be desired if we are to believe his reasoning. PS I bought a great hard cover off of a certain large online store-community, and it makes the 3ds look like the cover is a whole other color without appearing to be a cover, or without adding much weight. The cover is feather weight, wafer thin, made of aluminum (with felt insides) and best of all, it had and needs no hinges (to break). Best cover for my DS products ever. Alas, there are no white covers, I got black.

@DrKarl I could not agree more. Companies today need to be made accountable. We hold individuals to their word make them responsible for their actions, then companies need to be made to uphold the same standards too. All too often people forget that their 'inaction' send a message, that they may not intend to. Companies interpret the wrong idea from our acceptance as consumers. We need to stop being lazy and let these manufacturers know we care where and how our money is spent.

You could GIVE me 10 Xbox 360's I would only sell them. First you BUY a game, THEN you have to PAY again (online account) to PLAY those same games that I only want to play single player anyway. Without the account many games don't save and without the 'updates' they also don't save. MS charges multuple times for the same game. Buy a 360? not in this life time.

Besides $40. USD is far too much for most of these retail games to start with. They are simply NOT worth that much. N is about to kill-off a large portion of it's DS base owners purchases by not adjusting prices. and additional coins for e-downloads? PLEASE... until decent games are offered in trade, they're allmost worthless. Steel Diver and Pilot can be purachased for $5. USD here NEW., why pay $40. USD at day one?

by keeping the price of digital downloads and retail hard copies the SAME PRICE, they are essentially passing on the cost of the card to YOU. NOW you are paying MORE for the games than before because of this. Also has anysone stopped to see just how many games will fit on a 4GB card? not many [retail] at all. We're going to be buying these cards for e-downloads like they're going out of style; all because N doesn't want to pay for them anymore. Also, not many will fit onboard of the sytem either, for those stored that way. And NO @ MooMoo, there are no 'tabs' for seperating catagories here in the US...

I'll bet the west just gets the same ole cr@ppy Red $ Blue just like the 3ds and every other sinlge item ever sold to the west....I would even accept cruddy silver which we all know from the DS phat, looks horrid & cheesy after a few weeks.

I said I wouldn't buy a new piece of hardware from them until we got this and Advance Wars for this gen. This is why I have no intention of getting the XL, until this is released. and word of Ad War. is on the way to the west. However I DO want one. I'm tired of the west only getting the dirty end of the gaming stick when it comes to Japans games (which are the best around IMO).

If I didn't just buy the white one last week, I'd have gotten that Blood Red one.furthermore, NassaDane; I fully agree, the DSi still rocks and will for some time to go The sys has a buttload of great games to play.. I've got 3 (a black, a a white and a (OMFGTB) espresso XL and a (black) 3ds, and I use 'em all.

I took Visual Basic back in technical school. Until the very last week I tought I was the only person who did not understand. Your final required you to write a program that ran on all platforms available at that time; Win 95, 3.1, Dos,etc.. the upshot is, I was certain I was going to fail, however as it tuns out, I was the ONLY person who passed the class with flying colors. To boot, I actually wrote the code line for line rather than using the available visual references and buttons, grphics etc. it just seemed more logical and easy to understand at that time for me. I realize there are differences between Vis Basic and regular Basic, but I'm excited to explore those.
Readers who tried Wareioware D.I.Y and found learning those game-making tools confusing will absolutely hate this Basic program.
Those of you lazy about the proper use English language are going to have a tough time, I claim ot be no expert, these are just what I found. Basic is NOT forgiving and does not accept ebonics, not even 1 single key of being out of step. One keystroke incorrectly placed and you'll be pouring over hundreds of lines of code to find that single character that is not there. That is only possible fi you understand how it SHOULD look in the first place. Now you know that advantage, all those helpful people you called 'grammer nazi's' (on the net) have over you. There are advantages to learning to do some things the right way, the first time through. Don't get me wrong, Basic is a great program but make no mistake about it, this will seperate the men from the boys, the dreamers, from those who have true drive commitment.

I would like to point out 2 things. #1, there IS more than 1 person in this world named Neil Young Duh, this is NOT the one from Crazy Horse fame The one from crazy horse fame is so reich he doesn't need to work and he's NOT in the gaming business, he's in the music writing/perforoming business. sheesh....#2) I have been a long time civilization Player on PC. Sid Meiers who designed that game (and created Micro Prose, 2k gaming and more holds more awards than any other single game designed in the world today,acording to the Guiness Book of World Records Sid has the very same game Civ Rev on the 360, AND Ds & The Iphone. With the exception of cutscenes it is identical in every way. Who says you can't play a real game on an iphone? Many of Nintendo's games (not 1st party) recently have come FROM the iphone FIRST BTW.No I don't own an iphone or any other gaming phone... But Sony and N have different crowds they sell to, how many coin collecting platformers can you buy for the PSP?, How many shooters can you buy for Nintedos 3ds? Are you getting the pic? They serve different demogrpahics altogether, and those demographcis have varied definitions, besides game types, ages and console size.It amazes me how often everyone defines the rest of the world based on what they interpret to be seeing in thier own small community. That's why they're PAID to look at the big picture (big bucks) and you're PAYING to look at the small screen.
