SunnySnivy commented on Mario Party 2 Joins the Club Nintendo Rewards ...:

Disappointed in the games, I liked Mario Party 2 but I already have it.

I'm getting the 3DS card case though, it looks nice~ Ironically, I was just thinking earlier today that I really needed to store my 3DS games separately from my DS games.

I hate dual analog control. It really doesn't make me happy that a 3DS revision will include another analog stick, but I'm probably a minority of the people who think this. :/ [I'll be waiting a while to buy a revision, because I'm very happy I waited with the DS to get the DSi XL.]

SunnySnivy commented on Operation Rainfall Takes Aim at The Last Story:

@Henmii Um. It ranked second place on the Wii charts the first week in Europe, and was fourth overall. I don't know what your talking about, we really couldn't have asked for a better performance sales-wise especially considering the stock shortages. And also, just because a video game isn't advertised on TV doesn't mean it's sales were bad. That has nothing to do with it at all.

I'm so glad this was part of the program. I love this game sooo much. After I beat this, I'm definitely going to buy more FE games. And hey, if I hadn't bought my 3DS early I would have never found out about this game!

SunnySnivy commented on Rumour: Two Zelda Titles in Development:

With a lot of Nintendo rumors turning out to be true (Wii U, 2nd analog stick on 3DS, Zelda timeline, ect.) it really wouldn't surprise me if this turned out to be true. Then again, it wouldn't surprise me if they were fake either.

Only time will tell.

Glad to see Majora's Mask on the list. Majora's Mask is the best of the best when it comes to Zelda!

I might get Dr. Mario for the 3DS, but I would rather get it on my DSi since the DSiWare games look so much better on it. Ah, I'm torn.

The title scared me. It made it seem like it was going to be necessary to play the game.. I'm not a fan of dual analog control. (Or having to purchase accessories to play games.)

But, since it's just "compatible", no big deal. Also good news for left handed people! :D

Interesting. I'm always interested in what other consoles have to offer- but so far Microsoft has done nothing to spark my interest. The PS3 didn't interest me either... hopefully something NEW will be revealed by these guys. Not just the same thing with more power.

Skyward Sword, definitely!

#128 - I was under the impression that this was for what game we liked the most. Why vote for a game we haven't even played yet? Getting it released over here has nothing to do with it. Besides it already is coming in March so...

@SimonB79 I suppose I am the minority then. The controls make Skyward Sword what it is: a fantastic game. If you put it down for the controls, you're missing out. They're hard to get used to it at first, but once you do it becomes really fun.

I loved the motion controls and I hope they continue to have them for a long time. Much more interactivity, much more fun, and all around much more enjoyable than mashing buttons.

SunnySnivy commented on Talking Point: The Overcrowded Holiday Release...:

I usually buy my "first priority" games when they first come out, around this time of year I miss a lot of other games. I didn't get Mario Kart 7, Rayman Origins, either of the Kirby games, Sonic Generations or Cave Story 3D because I had to buy the limited edition Skyward Sword bundle and Super Mario 3D Land, titles I wanted to play more. I will buy second priority games after the beginning of the year, when releases slow down.

This is what I think a lot of gamers do, and I'm sure it harms launch sales greatly.

SunnySnivy commented on Aonuma: "We'll See" About Zelda Voice Acting:

Couldn't have said it better than @6.

Voice acting would ruin Zelda for me. In all honesty, I typically hate voices in games. It feels more like watching a movie than playing a game.

Also, Super Mario Sunshine flopped in the voice acting department, so I don't think Zelda should even try.

SunnySnivy commented on Nintendo UK Reconfirms GBA Ambassador Games fo...:

First the 10 NES titles are mediocre (except for Zelda and Mario), and we have to wait an eternity for the GBA titles.

There is no excuse. We should have all of the game already and they should have all the features of the VC games you purchase.

I'm fed up with waiting for these 3DS games and features we should have had to begin with.

SunnySnivy commented on Feature: Remembering the GameCube:

I love the Gamecube! It was actually my first home console (I had been playing handhelds for years). I have fond memories of Animal Crossing, Pokemon Colosseum, Kirby Air Ride and Super Mario Sunshine.

Also, the controller is still my favorite. It's so comfortable, and I still use it a lot for VC games. The only problem is the C-stick. I don't know why, but I have gone through 3 GC controllers with broken c-sticks this past year. What gives?!

Anyway, I may be biased since it was my first console, but I love that little black cube.

SunnySnivy commented on PETA Launches Campaign Against Mario:

@Thwiidscube
PETA was founded in 1980. SMB 3 came out in 1988.

So, why didn't they attack SMB 3? Because video games weren't as popular as they are now. Don't get me wrong- Nintendo was popular in the 80s. But look at it now. Video games are everywhere. They are right in your face all the time, even if you don't play video games.

While I was thinking of this though, I realized SMB 3 was not only released on a Wii disc last year, but is also available on the VC and has been for a long time. So, why attack now? I don't know, it's PETA. Nobody knows.

As for comment on the "campaign", do they seriously think that kids are going to rush out and go buy fur because of a video game character? How about they attack the magazines printing ads for REAL fur, I would consider those much more influential towards purchases.

This is such a waste of time.
