@TreonsRealm 'The $20 budget price (and if you really need the dual stick controls, its still cheaper to buy the game and circle pad pro than the console version)'

Original price was 45€ and the Circle Pad Pro XL is 30€ (that's what I paid). That is 75€. If you are talking about current price is 30 for game (not 20) + 30 (CPPXL) = 60 although you can find CPP XL cheaper (around 20€, that makes 50€).

@TreonsRealm 'Controls just feel tighter and more natural showing that it was truly built around the 3DS'

Gyro control is annoying for most people. Analogue controls are still analogue controls and it is actually much more comfortable on the Wii U GamePad or Wii U pro controller than on the 3DS. I own the Circle Pad Pro XL and it improves the control on the 3DS but after a few hours it is very uncomfortable if not painful, both circle pads I mean and the reason is because they are flat and not ergonomic as the ones on Wii U.

@Philip_J_Reed And I can disagree with them as you are all doing with me now. I think there is no freedom in here to express that I disagree with the reviews. Why? This is shameful because it comes even from the staff...

@Tasuki Why should I not say that I disagree with the review? You are behaving like a little dictator now. I can say whatever my opinion is even if you don't like it.

@Tasuki same for you, read my other messages. I still believe there are many mediocre retro games that are overrated but if you all want to defend Nintendo Life so much is okay but it is pointless as comments are to express our opinions! Read all, man!

@skjia So why did Ocarina of Time 3D get lots of 10 and 9 from the media? It is also a slightly improved port and got the same reviews than the original game thirteen years later (not one year later like REvelations). So why not give REvelations similar reviews than the original version? I mean, specially in here where reviewers tend to overrate so often. It's weird.

@Prof_Elvin_Gadd Why don't you read my second message too? And this one too just in case!

Haha I wonder why I don't get any attention when I say "I love this" like in here:

@ThomasBW84 Change "retro stupid games" for "retro mediocre games" (and I like some of them) and change "Shame on you" for "You are clearly unfair". I should have expressed myself like that. I don't want all your fans to attack me but it's a fact that you (Nintendo Life) have a tendency to overrate some kind of games and when it comes to a more "serious" profile you go the other way. That's why I think the reviews in here are not consistent at all and not a good reference compared to say Ign.com. On the other hand, I like some of the articles (and a few reviews).

Isn't it more boring these people doing lip service and flattery all the time?

@KnightRider666 I don't hate nobody, just stating the facts. I believe that an 8 is a great score so you must have misread my comment, check it again: NOOO, you give 9 and 10 to any retro stupid game from eShop and you give 8 to REvelations on its second version. Shame on you, Nintendo Life! If you are demanding be always demanding!

And yes, they have overrated lots of mediocre retro games. REvelations deserves same if not more even being a port.

As I already own Kirby Super Star Deluxe* (the improved version for DS) this week I'll pick all demos and Resident Evil Revelations HD of course (even though I have the 3DS version).

*The original one (SNES) was called Kirby's Fun Pak in Europe.

'Could it be a Mario Kart and Sonic & All-Stars Racing crossover?' No.
'Nintendo And SEGA Have Yet To Reveal Another Exclusive Sonic Title' Mario & Sonic first, Sonic Lost World second and perhaps Sonic Lost World 3DS version (total different game because of 3DS capabilities) third?

Good article but I disagree a little bit when it comes to games. Not Mario Kart 7 nor Super Mario 3D Land nor Paper Mario nor Mario Tennis and of course nor New Super Mario Bros. 2 were great games. On the other hand, Resident Evil Revelations, Fire Emblem Awakening and Luigi's Mansion 2 are really amazing. Nintendo just rushed most of their games in order to boost the console sales. That's not the way to go in my opinion.

It was a half-baked game like Red Steel but I enjoyed Red Steel 2 regardless the repetitive gameplay, it was great fun swinging the Wii Remote Plus. Try to make a Zombi U good sequel, Ubisoft.

I am quite surprised of this game getting so drastically different reviews. I did not like the demo and I have read the 'Metroidvania' style is missing in this entry so I guess that is the reason it got bad reviews. But I still wonder what makes it so good for other people, is it just nostalgia? Just asking as I just played the demo. 72% average on Metacritic.com to say something.

Traxx said: 'Never will understand why Nintendo underpowered the CPU that much'

Agreed. I cannot understand it either. Even with a nice GPU the CPU (they are on the same multi-chip) is still way too poor. I do not believe the rumour but I would love Anandtech or somebody to check the new speeds anyway.

Just played the demo, yeah, it controls better on Wii U even though I own Circle Pad Pro. If you use the GamePad the on-screen map is very handy. I also tried the Wii U pro controller, which I love. The game looks gorgeous on a HD TV. And it's a great game itself.

@SKTTR Makes sense, they did that with RE4 Wii Edition and they created a better control although the game was designed for the GameCube controller. So yes, Wii Remote support would make a perfect controlling choice for this game.

@ThomasBW84 Actually I only played the demo which I did not like. I am playing Project Zero 2 Wii Edition these days. It's an amazing game. I can only hope we will have more Project Zero on Wii U. Regarding REvelations, I will go for the the Wii U version even though I already own the 3DS version.

@Kirk said 'That's the issue I have with most of Nintendo's modern consoles; they're so close to being great but there's always one thing or another that just doesn't quite hit the mark and it's frustrating because often those issues seem extremely obvious to me so I don't get why they didn't just address them in the first place'. Yeah, I am happy I am not the only one. It is embarrassing that they release the systems with those shortcomings when it is so obvious there is something wrong with them right from the start. Besides, their pig-headedness is shocking.

@theblackdragon Stop messing with us! You are the one confusing people! LOL
@ThomasBW84 I didn't mean this article only and I meant theblackdragon replies in this particular thread. On the other hand and I hope you have realized, I have congratulated people when their texts were great, not only staff people but users as well. The last one was the Super Mario World review because the author did not say that it is the best but showed and proved why it is the best. I cannot remember more right now but I have been giving some more nice feedback too.
@All
Love and sex is part of life and homosexuality exist since the beginning of times. The only reason we have issues about it is called RELIGIONS. I don't care about society stupidity nor religions so luckily I don't have to judge people's personal choices, preferences and FREEDOM as long as they do not hurt other people (or animals).

@theblackdragon My point was that you (NL) want people to click on this even if it is not accurate at all but provocative. I was harsh because this is not the first time you (NL) play the game of sensationalism. For me it is fine because this is just a video games website but it is not the first time that you reproach us for some of our comments and assumptions either and that is when I get annoyed, talk about hypocrisy!

Sun

Sun commented on Rumour: Tomodachi Collection: New Life Update ...:

@theblackdragon Honestly what you are saying does not make any sense at all as a patch could fix those issues without erasing the option. If that option did not appear in the first place it would be not an issue but if you are saying a patch is erasing that option then it becomes an issue not only for gay people but for any person from a country with equal rights (as most countries in EU).

And you NL are very happy with us making assumptions, otherwise you would not publish this before having investigated a little bit so stop the hypocrisy or you will get this kind of feedback.

Sun commented on UK Mainstream Newspaper Declares 3DS The "Best...:

@Kirk Another interesting comment indeed. I feel the same about 3DS, as far as the view angle is so narrow and the console itself is also the controller it does not make much sense because it is impossible to play not moving a little bit the device. They really need to improve this if they want to keep the 3D on their next handheld. But I have more issues with 3DS and 3DS XL, the former is not comfortable to hold and use by big hands and the later makes my left thumb hurt after some time. That happens to the right thumb as well when I am using the Circle Pad Pro. This is due to the fact that the circle pads are flat. My fingers are perfectly fine on the Wii U GamePad analogue sticks and were perfectly fine during my long Wii sessions. Another poor feature of both console models is the low resolution which is more annoying on the 3DS XL as you can see the black lines between the pixels lines (although I still prefer the XL model and its much bigger screen as the 3DS screen is very small). All in all the 3DS/3DS XL hardware itself is not very good but yes I do enjoy some of its games.

Sun commented on UK Mainstream Newspaper Declares 3DS The "Best...:

No, I don't agree. I had a 3DS and now I have a 3DS XL. Very recently I bought Fire Emblem Awakening and Luigi's Mansion 2. The catalogue of games is getting better but that doesn't make it the best console ever but only the most relevant handheld around right now. Perhaps Super NES was. 3DS has also big design mistakes on the original and even on the XL version.

@ThumperUK Agreed. It is not even the inverse order: SMW, SMB3, SMB2, SMB... I think it's time for Nintendo to release the same classics both on 3DS and Wii U eShop and not charging us twice for them. They still have a long way to go regarding retro games selling and keep on disappointing long time users.

@Gavin_Rozee They should release Super Mario All Stars as well, perhaps after releasing the NES versions. The SMAS Wii version was crap at least in Europe with 50Hz output and lots of issues when playing on some modern televisions.
