Yeah bloodstone looks cruddy. I'm wondering how Goldeneye will affect the sales of Black Ops on Wii though? A dev finally makes a wii game just as fleshed out as an HD (graphics took a hit of course) and they might not be rewarded for it due to Goldeneye. Go figure haha

Redbox is actually terrific. Snagging some recent movies for $1 a night is awesome and they always seem to be pretty close by. Also the customer service is great, one time i went to return a dvd and the kiosk said it was full and couldn't take it. So i returned it the next day, contacted customer support and got my dollar back. (kind of feel dumb making so much fuss over a dollar, but hey its another movie right? haha)

eh this looks like it will be worth $15. Hell it sounds like he maybe could've made it into a hardcopy release if he wanted!

@buffalobob i don't see what you're complaining about. fact of the matter is the Wii is definitely capable of good online play, but that most games fail to utilize it to its potential which makes it a broken mess in general. Its not favoritism for the sake of favoritism, it is saying the HD consoles overall have better online play, and that is what makes this game special as it is on par with great experiences from those consoles.

I'm not going to lie this sounds like a game I would definitely buy for PS3, so its a no brainer to get on the Wii! I'm really looking forward to this.

This is fantastic because I will definitely spend $10 on this, $15 for a downloadable game is just too tough to swallow considering you can get 2 or maybe even 3 downloadable games for that price. If only every developer listened as much as ghostfire!

Eh i disagree with the 2, id say its like a 4-5. But really, why wouldn't you just play this online if you have the option? I could see this as a DS or PSP game to take on the go but there really doesn't seem to be a point to have it on the wii..

Finally someone goes all out on Wii. Wii owners better step up and make this game a success because if this fails, we will never see a good non-nintendo game again.

Also nintendo better find a way to advertise the hell out of this.

Yeah whatabouts would be the cost of importing this game? I've never done anything like this before but am very very interested.

Also is this game really worth it? Would I have more fun with silent hill or something of that nature or is this the best of the best?

To be honest this game is actually great fun with a bunch of people in a competitive environment. by yourself however it is quite dull. But if you've got the friends who would want to play its worth the $5. I'd imagine this tournament would be a blast.

Besides, what does anyone get from trashing this announcement? These guys made a game, let them have fun with it.

This report isn't about how green the products nintendo makes are, but more the manner in which they make it. So pretty much wii=green. Making the wii=1.4/10. The report and nintendo's comments were about different things and both were accurate.

I saw a chart awhile back about comparing energy uses for consoles. Turns out if you leave the Wii on for an entire year it uses less energy than both the 360 and PS3 turned OFF but plugged in. Thats cool at least...

And that was before the PS3 slim came out.

the wii speak thing is the only letdown for me

People's arguments against this game are juvenile. Of course it is not going to be as good as the PS360 versions. It doesn't try to be, and the excellent review states that if you have other options go for them. Then @Super_Smash_Bros_Fan you say you bought sonic because they cared about gameplay over graphics? Did you read this review? It says the graphics took an obvious hit from other versions but the gameplay and game content was retained and is solid. Why do people feel they must hate on a game because there is a better version on other systems or because it attracted a mass audience? Yes by all means, find your rare wii titles and feel that you are a cult follower, that is all well and good because there are countless overlooked wii games. Don't dish on this game just because its famous and others like it.

I am looking for a good multiplayer FPS on Wii, and it appears this takes the cake by far. So why is a 9/10 so outlandish? It is in comparison to what is available on the wii. And the score seems completely merited and extremely well backed up in this review.

Aw man, if anyone had any doubts this has to put them away. I had fun watching whoever was playing have fun.

I dont understand all of the fuss here, the game looks great. Obviously when you put it next to the ps3 version it will pale in comparison but thats no reason to trash the graphics completely? Ease up fellas

I love how sexy poker is still on there haha. Those developers are genius(or perverted), that game had to be cheap to make and I'll bet they are making a fortune.

The reason it didn't sell well is because the cover is too cutesy and makes it look like a kids game. The gameplay is sick if anyone tries it they wont be disappointed.

This just sounds like it's going to take away a few people from mario kart online. So its just sad for me lol

See my opinion Nintendo always plays it safe. I know the whole motion sensor and everything was a bit of a risk but nintendo will have buyers no matter what. EVERYONE has played a mario game at some point in their life, and Sony and Microsoft don't have those franchises that people will almost automatically buy. They have to go out of their way to be something special, while nintendo knows that they do not. They played to their gaming strengths by creating a cheaper console that anyone could play so it wasn't really a big risk at all in my opinion.

This may sound like I'm not a big Wii fan but thats quite the opposite. Sony has to gamble big and to be honest I think the PS3 is an amazing machine, but I still prefer the Wii.

And I still think the 360 is garbage.

@mickeymac thanks for the help. and I was one of the few "unfortunate" ones who got the internet channel right when it came out so no rebate for me. i think a few VC's are on the list ahead of this but I plan to give it a shot sometime. after all its only $5, and i spend more than that doing pretty much whatever else i'd be doing so why not?
