I guess it wouldn't by up to nintendo but would I would also like to see Beyond Good and Evil since there is talk of a sequel, if a HD version sells good on wii u it might entice ubi to also release on wii u the sequel

Ste commented on Fi Confirmed For Hyrule Warriors Along With Sk...:

Actually I did like FI, I found her funny with her blunt honesty, albeit annoying when she was telling me i was low on hearts or low on battery power. But as a character, she was a spirit not a person so not sure I like this, Midna was a person, if they wanted someone from Skyward Sword, should have picked Groose.

Ste commented on Pure Chess Will Checkmate Your Wii U And 3DS V...:

I was expecting 9.99 here in the USA so the price is a pleasant surprise. Will probably get it but going to wait for the review. I know Pure Chess on the IOS is very barebone albeit free, and you have to buy the different sets, environments and even some of the skill levels, so it depends what all this comes with.

Ste commented on Club Nintendo Rewards Updated for February:

Considering getting Super Mario RPG, does anyone know how many blocks it takes? Also I agree that Nintendo shouldn't be making it look like a wii-U game since it would be played on the wii app. No problem with them putting wii games up for the coins but then advertise them as such.

Ste commented on Wii Sports Club Will Download Automatically Wi...:

I am looking forward to boxing, baseball, and tennis to a lessor extent, depends on how good the motion plus is. Will certainly check out golf and bowling but can they be much better than wii sports resort? The bowling online with leagues and such could be amazing though
Does anyone know how to check our Spotpass settings? I forget how i answered

Ste commented on Wii U Selling 1.2 Games Per Console In North A...:

My question would be if these stats look at the bundled in games, if so and I would be inclined to think it does since sales figured for games would count number of wii sports sold or something like that, if all the sales were the deluxe bundle it would be nintendo land and 1 out of 5 people bought another game on average, but a lot of basics were probably sold too, so each of them probably had a game bought as well. But does this include downloadable games, at least the retail games. anyway i bought the deluxe and batman.

Ste commented on Review: Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands ...:

Hi ToxieDogg,
I am thinking of buying this game as I am getting into the Prince of Persia series. Could you tell me if the original Prince of Persia game is written into the disk so if I buy a used copy it would still be playable? or is it like a DLC where once it is unlocked it can't be played again on another wii? How easy it is to unlock? Thanks for any help you can give.

You say that the balloon game is the only "single player only" game of the set, are most if not all of the other games at least available as single player even if that is not the optimal way to play?

Ste commented on GameCube to See New Downloadable Life on Wii U:

Also for me personally, I probably won't get a Wii U right away as I still have a decent backlog of games to play and still some I am interested in both wii and gc but i am sure i will get one at somepoint. Will have to make sure it is still backward compatible to the wii, and am thinking of getting a second wii that is still gcn compatible as insurance anyway.

Ste commented on GameCube to See New Downloadable Life on Wii U:

I don't think this is surprising at all, didn't the later wiis lose their backward compatibility, I am pretty sure they did at least here in NA. Anyway Nintendo is a company out for profit first and foremost no matter what they say. But what they might want to do is offer an incentive to trade in your old VC games no matter the system but especially gamecube for a discount so that those copies can be recycled and more inportantly be taken off the secondary market.
Also I would like to see Beyond Good and Evil so hopefully people buying it online will convince ubisoft? to not only follow through on making a sequel but to make it for the wii u.

Ste commented on Review: Beyond Good & Evil (GameCube):

A friend of mine recommended Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, which I really loved, and Gamespot showed this game as one I may like due to my interest in ED:SR, and I liked this game even more. I haven't owned a console before the wii, but even though this a gamecube game, still may be my favorite so far on the wii. Already wrote a letter to ubisoft promising to buy the sequel on the first day if they make it.

Ste commented on Features: Re-Examining Zelda: Twilight Princess:

When I got my wii in 2007, it was my first console in years, I had heard so much about the zelda series that TP was one of the first games I got, if not the first and I simply loved it and have also played LTTP and loved that as well. But those were the only 2 in the Zelda series I have played. (I found the of the collector's edition for the GC with 1, 2, MM and OoT, but haven't played one yet) Being one of my first games, I had trouble with some puzzles and some of the fights and thought it was a great way to be introduced to the series, although I didn't realize the story behind the Master Sword until I played LTTP. It is still one of my favorite wii games to this day and this article makes me want to replay it. I didn't mind the bug chasing as much as it seems everyone else did, I hated chasing that maniacally insane squeaky puppet around the field.
Anyway, in context to the article itself, since the beginning set the stage of relaxation and chilling by the stream talking to Rusl, it did set an attitude that although there were things to be done, we could take our time about it, no matter how much Midna pushed us, but make sure we not only did it right, but continued to be ourself and help anyone and everyone (cleared the stream or brought the hot spring water to the goron) take time and relax (fishing) or try something for the heck of it (like being shot out of a canon and riding a fliying/gliding chicken thing) as much as we can so we could go off-track. Although seriously, that bug lady was just kinda freaky.

Ste commented on Red Steel 2 Blunted After Poor UK Chart Debut:

If everything I just read is true, then yeah out for 1 weekend toward the end of tax season, at least here in the US, is a pretty harsh way to judge anything. That being said, at least for me, people nailed it, money and waiting for more reviews on the game because of what I heard about the first one. I am not as much waiting on other games, I am undecided about MH3, but just have a backlog of games i would like to catch up on first.

Ste commented on Review: TV Show King 2 (WiiWare):

I got the first, and since it is a trivia game i didn't mind the off timed speaking of jerry or the sometimes slow frame rate, but in the new one can you still see how everyone else answers , i thought that was the worst part.

Ste commented on Art of Balance Coming Soon to North America:

Looks good and like it could get really challenging. I hope the physics engine is as polished as World of Goo. But it would depend on that and how challenging it gets with piece shapes, number of pieces and if they start to use any obstacles, but definately has a lot of potential.

Ste commented on The Wii Sports Resort Events That Didn't Make It:

I think fishing would have been kinda fun for a little bit, but overall I like the WSR. I'm still addicted to 3-point shooting, and i know i am in the minority but once I looked inside the 3-on-3 and got to play a better level AI that became a lot of fun too. The swordplay same thing, once you reach professionial it actually got kinda hard, although still pretty beatable. Also I think they did a good job on the bowling, i get on that what i get in real life, golf is better, frisbee golf is fun but they should have made it so the disk had to actually land somewhere instead of just fly through something, or atleast not as wide, and even ping pong i was impressed with since the ball would actually do what it would do in real life if you put the right spin on it.
