Hey UK/USA can't complain, us AUSTRALIANS are the ones that really get the short straw when it comes to releases and pricing, so Na-na Na-na Boo-boo I win.
That would be great!, I have to admit it was also my fav of all the games the NFS games. xD Has to say something right? So far the first 4 posts all feel the same way hehe.
I don't think they should cut the price yet it wouldn't help, everyone is still waiting to actually see the new xbox and ps, then they will decide. I think the price of the other 2 consoles will be higher, and many will run to grab a WiiU.. lol
@Beta You can download any quests that have been released at any time.
And this is great news, hopefully they also add a way for 2 people to play from 1 WiiU, 1 via gamepad, and 1 via Tv and other control. It would need to allow P1 to pick his Mii and P2 to choose a seperate Mii tho.
It's Australias own fault in a way I guess ( I live here too ) but we keep voting in these old geezers who won't let go of the 1980's and who think a girl showing a bit of leg is ''over the top porn'' and they think video games are just space invaders and fry ya brains! xD.... Sigh my country blows in some ways think i'm Japanese at heart.
I'd have to agree that it was all part of a plan to push more digital sales, BUT maybe it wasn't only that, but it was surveys of recent digital vs disc sales that were already a bit wrong from the previous disc shortage that initially pushed the digital sales up.
I think nintendo shouldn't worry about companys like EA which will just bring out the same old sports games with a updated roster every year, almost identical to it's previous version. This type of half-assed developing and expecting gamers to pay in full for the edited last year game is insane.
They need to stop messing around and just get more of Japans style games here, i'm sick of all these same old same old games. If I see another first person shooter come out before a decent japanese rpg or action game i'll bust a nut. Priorities so wrong.
Hahahahahaa this is prety funny, look how sht Sony is. It's so bad that they have to resort to these kind of low life tactics to even get anything sold.
This letter was very well written, and it is very true nintendo have lost their way lately, they need to get back to the classic nintendo we all knew and loved while we grew up. The only game that i've spent more then 50hrs on WiiU is monster hunter 3U... and I have 6 games. To have the console for this long and to have only played it so little is disapointing.
However! I do have faith that the next few months will bring back the fun, and finally get me some good game time on the system.
This will be on my to buy list for sure, and great to see more devs opening their eyes to some of the WiiU possibilities and catering towards it. Pity so many other devs which shall not be named can't live upto this standard.
The demo doesn't do it much justice either, it gives you a quick look at the fighting styles but the crafting and gathering items is some of the most fun and that's only in full version.
Interesting, sounds like the new company that picked it up doesn't have the ability or know-how to produce it on other consoles, most likely just partially finished code in their hands, they are good enough to finish it and release it, but they don't know how to do anything else.
He was asked ''If he would welcome a price cut on WiiU'' I mean you could ask him that about any product in the world and his answer would be Yes, except if it was something he was selling ofcourse....
Side note, I had a lot of crashs until I changed MiiVerse to 'English Only' then still had crashs, so changed Nintendo land to 'english only visitors' and never crashed since, hopefully this fixes that issue, since it was the #1 crash issue with Nintendoland visitors and english only setting.
I have the WiiU version and i'm very disappointed with the slow patchs coming from 'Sumo'. There's still some horrible bugs in it and they just stretched themselves to thin by releasing and porting out from the original which already needed more bug fixes first, so now every version has a lot of annoying bugs that should have all been fixed in the early stages before it was ported to everything else.
Via the email contact form, I believe as many aussies as possible should complain to them about the cost and time consumption resulting in so many great games pulling out of release here. ><
They really need to stop voiceovers in english, it sounds horrible.
I would rather english subtitles, with jap voiceovers anyday, it sounds sooooooo much better and they could save money by just doing subtitles, it's a WIN WIN.
I can't believe companys ain't already doing this, it's like trying to watch Bleach with english voices it's soooo funny and weird and just lameeee. The Bleach in jap with eng subs is always the best. '' BAKA ''! xD
Haha, dam Japanese have wayyyyyyyy better taste then USA... Whats up with usa's love for shooting eachother, and japan just wana play with poketoys and hunt monsterssssss!!! . xD
I'm with you #27...
Please god I hope Australia imports more Japanese games vs the crappy merican ones.
At first I thought there was nothing to this game other then messing around with toys... But after looking into it more i'm amazed at what you can do in the ''Toy Box'' Mode....
It IS unbelievable the customization available, no only do you build areas from nothing you can add mechanics/functions/triggers etc to anything in the area, so you can re-create old games via the pieces and the right mechanics. For example you can make a top down brawler game creating spawn points for monsters/players, or you can make a side scrolling fighting game by changing certain camera angles and adding the correct mechanics.
You can be simple with it or do almost anything a simple developing tool would have. If it truely turns out like this it will go far as a franchise.
PS4: Oh yey 1000s more no name/brand games that nobody cares about with a few miracle lucky shot good games.
But that's bound to happen when you just constantly throw every title you can find in google onto the system.
I'm sticking with Nintendo, Quality over Quantity anyday. (Quality game play that is, I don't care about the graphics much, most of my fondest memories of games are ones with horrific graphics, it's all about the gameplay.)
Haha, google has a good point with the demo says a lot thing, I didn't even wana read about a new map app or hear about it but then I tried it and was really suprised at how awesome it is and the great detail is a nice bonus.
I havn't tried it yet, but for those of you who missed it you can stream .mp4's to your WiiU browser prety easily, give it a google. I have my 2TB HD with a lot of movies on it streaming to my WiiU's browser 24/7, great for watching stuff with the family.
Great, we definatly need more devs that will take this type of approach to the WiiU and being creative with the gamepad.
I'm sick of reading these lazy developers that say '' The controller is why we won't port to WiiU '' <~ That makes me laugh. How pathetic to blame something that could be so creatively used as the downfall, when it's obviously a upside to any devs with half a brain.
Thank god tiger woods isn't comming to WiiU, i'd rather play Mario Golf anyday.
I'm sure one will be developed eventually, and I also agree that a lot of these devs these days are lazy and just make excuses as to why the game pad doesn't fit, when it easily could be done... VERY EASILY.
I'm not worried about the WiiU at all, but i'm worried about the fact that some big names (sony/microsoft) might be throwing a lot of money at various places to have them help defame the WiiU.
All this bad news and barely any good news all over the internet makes me think this, when what it all really should be about is the great titles that are almost out like monster hunter, smash bros, mario party, mario kart... the list goes on and on and onnnnn..
Something very fishy is going on with the WiiU reporting.

This ain't a bad thing, i'd much rather the smoother gameplay and lagless multiplayer, compared to getting people who keep disconnecting or lagging hard.
I'm having fun with mine, but it would have been a lot better if they released the new jRPGs at the same time, I can only kill so many zombies before I get bored.
I need something like :
Smash bros
Xenoblade
Mario Party
Monster Hunter Those games alone would have made the Wii U sell 10 times more consoles, if they actually made a pokemon X,Y enhanced graphics version for WiiU which could trade/battle via miiverse it would have sold 30 times more consoles.
I mean the gamepads a dam pokedex look at it, why can't they do ittttt.
