Kinda weird feeling on this. Part of me is extremely flattered and proud that the 3ds is well capable of console quality games so far that people argue us the truest re: since not counting 5 & 6. Another part is that I fear since this game was so great that it even beat the console versions that I fear the next re 3ds game is gonna be less great to keep the consoles superior........ If we get another which they Saud after 6 they will thanks to how well recieved but lets hope things don't change.

Smooth27 commented on Wii U Pro Controller Feels "Amateurish", Say K...:

This guy obviously never tried any other controller than the 360, because that thing is fat and heavy.
I went to the Wii U experience, so here's my thought on it. It's amazing, now lets me explain. I was playimg with it and the controller as a whole indeed berry light so it feels good, you'll get tired of holding and xbox controller way before you get tired of holding the wii u pro. The buttons he claims are "mushy" is actually cushion and buttons are light as well; in fact, its finger/thumb heaven (same with back triggers). As for the joysticks, they feel soft like a grip suade kind of, and feel great kind of loose like a ps3 but feels also very precise like a xbox.

As soon as a new iteration comes with a second circle pad ill upgrade in a heartbeat. So...... Pass on this even thoughr I was hoping to play my games in a bigger screen, their really is no reason why not to add second pad. If a second pad was indeed worthless then it wouldnt exist on ps360 controllers, vita, and oh wait Wii U.

Don't get me wrong I love nintendo, but it seems as if all they do is say what you see is what you get, no opinions or complaints will be listen too unless we feel like it. So as long as people buy it that's it they dont care whether the consumer is satisfied or regretful of the product since they got the money off of us already.

Smooth27 commented on Reggie Fils-Aime: Fanbase Demands Are 'Insatia...:

While he makes a point is it really impossible to add more power to a system, more games 1st and 3rd? And is it really impossible to ads a damn second circle pad. Another way to look at it is, that isn't it their Damn job to try to satisfy everybody? Or else how would that work? Just make a game/system and maybe possibly, hope people like it? Oh and act cocky about it?

My type of games are third person and fps's so for me second stick is required andbl preffered. As much as I love Mario and other platformers I dont want to play that type for the rest of the 3ds's life just cause nintendo don't wanna implement another cp.

Ok here's a general control scheme that fits best to type of genres.
1. Platformers: one circle pad plus ABYX buttons.
2: Racers: 1 circle pad plus ABXY buttons plus L,R. Gyro also works best for racers as a second option.
3. Fighting: 1 circle pad plus ABYX buttons and L,R.
4. Third person games, and first person shooters: third person plays best with 2 analogues for camera control and all of the other buttons for extra gameplay stuff.
FPS' require 2 sticks for best play plus all other buttons for reloading, aiming, fire, sprinting, grenades and such.
Second option is stylus, but that only leaves one button either L or R, and clutters touch screen and when trying to look due to tap the reload button or aiming slows down gameplay on a fast paced genre.
Third option is gyro. Gyro is fun for mini games such as face raiders. However games like battlefield, or call of duty are much faster pace that gyro is a very difficult option, almost impossible. Imagine moving left and right a lot of times in public when playing a FPS?
4th option is ABYX for aiming and that is just painfully hard and inaccurate.
So as you can see every genre has there control schemes that work best for each genre. So 2nd circle pad is indeed needed for certain genres, just because you dont play third persons or FPS's doesn't mean its not needed. Don't matter if its overrated or underated.

Just because its over rated don't mean its useless. E3 was filled with platformers games for the same reason, because 3ds can do those best. Kindom hearts will play better with dual analogue like the ps2's version. Think about it the ds version had camera Issues. Like I said why not make the system do more. Also like I said theirs also a reason why we mainly get these platformers, and over the top games. Honestly you guys wouldn't want to play a grand theft auto, battlefield, call of duty, assassins creed and all these great AAA titles? Or are you guys ok with mario, zelda and other platformers for the rest of the 3ds life span?

Smooth27 commented on Talking Point: Another Look at the News - 22nd...:

Think about it theirs a lot of great titles that require it, for example, assassins creed, call of duty, medal of honor, ghost Recon, and even zombiu. Andball thee are coming to Wii u because the controller can finally do everything because it has a touch screen and all other buttons including dual analoges, which OS why their able to work on the console. Why not make the 3ds have more buttons more games better gameplay, and just more of what the system can do.

Smooth27 commented on Talking Point: Another Look at the News - 22nd...:

Yeah their hasn't being a need for a secondcircle pad because developers acknoledge it so they don't make games that would require it. Why would they make a game that requires certain things if the system doesn't have that thing. I can bet as soon as they add a second one where gonna see more games that require second analogue like FPS's.

The eshop has gotten 2 times better since it began. Only thing I hate is how every thursday we only get 3 things most times is two dsiware games and one 3dsware or demo its cool and all but why can't we get 4 or five things like more 3dsware games and demos. We need more social apps, it would be nice to hang out at Starbucks using the at&t and logging in to my Facebook, twitter, or Skype my friend and watch youtube vids. How cool would that be? Also Nintendo should really sell 3D movies! Lastly please add shooters to eshop like gamelofts shooters.

Resident Evil Revelation: havent beatn all raid mode stages.
Asphalt 3D: rented it first since ridge racer 3d wasn't good for me was also skeptical about asphalt since they got similar review scores, bit ended up enjoying the game A LOT! Its a really fun game, and for being a launch game it has pretty good graphics. Bought it, can't wait for next asphalt on 3ds.
Call of Duty MW3: I know their a lot of nay sayers but that's my franchise and need my daily dose of it. Hope COD:BO2 hits 3ds.

Smooth27 commented on Black Ops 2 Coming to Wii U:

I can finally rest at night 70% is spent on that game. Well since mw3 its bein like 20, 30% less but treyarchs cod games are always innovative and real fun. I hope it comes out for 3DS because it missed out last year and vitas getting a version >:( so if 3ds doesn't....
So far so good nintendo ima FPS fan medal of honor warfighter is coming!! And now cod bo2 that took the cake definately buying Wii u. Just hope splinter cell blacklist, watch dogs and more come out and they better be graphically better since Wii u has to be next gen not in-between gen. sure gameplay > graphics bit why not have both right now since nintendo still can ante up. I do not want to end up buying future cod, battlefield and moh on a different console because Wii u is powerless now.

Smooth27 commented on Wii U Power Lacks a 'Generational Leap':

It is about longitivity. Its like this i would much rather choose my 3DS over a gameboy advance, even DS. Not because those systems are no good, but 3DS is just a better system overall and brings more gameplay and graphics and experience to the table since its more powerful. I dont want to play awesome games on wii u for just 2 years and having to buy the next xbox because battlefield 4 or next call of duty is only on ps4 and 720, because it either wont exist on semi-last gen system or downgraded experience.
So please nintendo ante up the specs so that it supports ue4 and pretty much max out the specs. I feel that this wont happen simply because nintendo wants to cater casual so it has to be cheap in price. This i dont understand because they should just continue having the wii for that. Please nintendo i do not want a system that is going to be absolete in 2,3 years.

Smooth27 commented on Wii U Power Lacks a 'Generational Leap':

I know graphics dont matter too much to most people, however a lot of other specially the hardcore people do. Also i have being reading gameinformer, and their was a section of what devs seek in the next gen consoles and 85% of the devs wanted high end specs for better.... everything. I feel like nintendo is in this danger zone where unreal engine 3 is reaching its peek, and unreal engine 4 is about to spring to life and nintendo has to make a choice whether to stick with ue3, or ue4 which ue3 is about to be a thing in the past (last gen) in about a year or two. This then reeks of wii all over again where wii u is going to be just a great console, and concept but devs are going to choose ps4 and 720 for their power so all us wii u owner are stuck with only great 1st party games and missing out on the next best multiplatform game. With watered down ports or narrative stories if were lucky.

Smooth27 commented on Nintendo to Offer Triple Layer of Miiverse Mod...:

No for children? You can't put a rating online. Children friendly? I can imagine how limited thatz going to be. That's why children have parents so they can monitor who they add how the add what they say and all sorts of stuff like that. Otherwise this miiverse is going to be just a cool thought that didn't live up to peoples expectations.
Seriously you can put a report for abuse fail language, spoiled a game, disturbing posts but nintendo is putting a rated E for everyone for online. The esrb isn't responsible for that.

Smooth27 commented on Reaction: Your Opinions on Nintendo's E3 Confe...:

First of all It was very unproffessional. They said they didn't have time to explain a lot in one measely hour and yet they were talking about their social pages to follow them???????, and e3 will continue an on their e3 website and blah blah they reiterated this several times. Now to ky opinion on what they they showed. First 25 minutes got me excited miyamoto came out mentioned pikmin 3 was pretty excited, then WB came up with BATMAN! (huge b-man fan), Harley Quinn was their! Scribnlenauts which was pretty cool then I was like alright bring on injustice, but nope. Then after Wii fit U, third party line up only like 3 games we didnt know and the best one was mass effect. Being a big fps fan that i am the abscense of call of duty ( made me cry), medal of honor, conduit, and Metroid!
Not even other hardcore titles to look for. As a hard core gamer I was let down badly seemed like once again their catering to casual :(
Overall, it flunked no hardcore sense in the presentation, more causual heavy, said things they said this Sunday and last e3, were not stupid nintendo we know how the controller works now, except the system.

Smooth27 commented on Feature: Kid Icarus - Nintendo's Next Big Fran...:

As far as multiplayer goes iys an amazing start, only multiplayer game that'z amasing aside if resident evil but its only 2 player online. The things I want for next game is more modes, maybe a regular death math, domination of some sort. Secondly a reason to make me comeback and play more like a leveling system something addicting besides just fun to play. A pre-game lobby that doensnt take you to the match ride away, that way you can invite your friends and play with strangers at the same time instead of a friends only mode. Lastly most important customization of character or weapons, and voice chat to use team work properly.

Smooth27 commented on Feature: Kid Icarus - Nintendo's Next Big Fran...:

Not that im complaining, because this game is extremely awesome, but I kind of expected it differently. Before it was released the dev said that it was gonna be a hardcore game, which it is, but in a arcade way. The only hardcore about is the intensity and how it controls; not that is a bad thing, love the game. However I was wanting a hardcore game non-arcade kind of like a mix of god of war mixed with third person shooter.... That would of being amazing. By saying ''god of war hardcore'' I dont mean a carbon copy of it. More like hardcore gameplay in ways of how he kills the undead army like metroid other M when she does a cinamatic jump over the enemy and aims her cannon on the enemies head and.... Boom! those type of amasing hardcore kills. The levels were pretty but land levels were too linear, dont flame me its a great start for the game, but like any other, it can only get better right? Lastly the weapons sounds, all sound too alike. I want my bullet blade to sound like bullets dropping the floor.

I hope its in beta or alpha form so far, because graphically.... Uhhh its ok. I hope it does better graphically, seing what the 3ds can do with revelations compared to this, it can do a whole lot better. Can wait if what they said are true. Fun to control, particle effect, the lighting and all that good stuff, I hope the final pruduct looks better for me to get me extremely satisfied but either way im craving an atv game and for 3ds!! Hell yeah im buying!
