@Damo Super Damo - Troll Hunter... Well put!

Never really had that much interest in anything on kick starter and have never funded anything. But for some reason this has really caught my attention in a big way, I just have to keep checking back to the ks page!!
Never really played BK either, although I was 16 when it came out so probably had other things on my mind at the time!

Sorry my friend I though you meant the power saving was lame!!

As much as I would have liked the Wii U to have come with a bit more storage I actually see it as a good thing...

HDD's are relatively cheap and I can decide what size to use, I actually used a drive I had lying around so free for me.
I have a PS4 and I'll tell you (in my experience anyway) that space doesn't last long... But I could swap it out if need be. But it also adds to the cost of the machine.
As for the XBone, I don't have one but as far as I am aware you can't swap the drive but can use external... However you have still paid for the existing drive.

Like I said, Nintendo could and probably should offer higher capacities... Or even better, make a killing selling Nintendo branded external drives!!

Wii U doomed to not, winding down or fizzling out... I don't care much personally. I've had, am having and will continue to have great fun with it! I'll buy splatoon or hopefully get it bought for me since it comes out the day before my birthday and I hope to get 99% of the other announced games. And I don't care at this point if they sell hardware or not, I'm happy with my purchase, to hell with everyone else!!

And just to clarify, yes I am a Nintendo fanboy... I own every Nintendo system bar the Virtual Boy. But I also own every Sony home console, a Dreamcast and an original Xbox so I'm not a blind fanboy!

Why is everyone flipping their lid over this being one game split into two? To me this sounds like two games which can interact with each other... Three if you count the confirmed dlc.
I'll admit the Direct made it sound like one game, two distinct paths but until we get more information on the Western release strategy its just conjecture at this point.
If its true that both paths contain as much content as Awakening, which had a great amount of content, then I'm happy with separate releases and even happier that I can get the other path for a reduced price!

Scalp this, scalp that... Seriously it's called supply and demand. Low supply, high demand is always going to push prices up. If someone with more money than sense wants to pay over the odds for something instead of buying a standard amiibo and some gold paint who are they hurting?

Spend a month with the UK club Nintendo!!

There are sections that have been 'coming soon' for years now and the items on offer are nothing morevthan forgettable trinkets for the most part.
I Can't blame Nintendo for the lack of some games in the uk/Europe though when PEGI expect you to mail them a body part with each game submission!!

Each region and console manufacturer has it's issues in these regards...

SmithJurd commented on Shigeru Miyamoto Confidently Outlines Nintendo...:

Personally the only category I could possibly place myself in is 'gamer'. I enjoy both core and casual games and currently I'm happy that my Wii u is scratching both itches and looking at what's coming, will continue to do so. Unfortunately much of the 'core' itch is being serviced by third party games which are in a state of decline on Wii u.
I think however that the mold is set in the minds of the vast majority of the latest generation of gamers in that Sony and ms appeal to that core bunch and Nintendo is there for the Nintendo/niche/casual/kiddy crowd.
I've managed to change a few peoples perceptions just by getting my Wii u into peoples hands and letting them experience it. If only Nintendo could find an effective way to do this on a larger scale...

Hi Nintendo Life, your personal opinions designed to elicit discussion amongst your readership are rubbish!! Please get new opinions, preferably something more obvious!

Personally I would love to see The Last Story in HD... Not Nintendo I know but was a Wii exclusive
