@Quorthon , @MoldyClay87 Please to tell how you would advertise an M rated game about a stripper? How many parents will buy there kid that game?
The fact that it got made and is still currently playable on the console is the Nintendo support. Who care if no one but you buys it?

@Quorthon If other companies put the time and money that capcom put into monster hunter, i think they would sell well. But they dont.

@darkgamer001 Yeah, there are exceptions, but it seems 3rd party developers (especially on nintendo consoles) like the swords and soldiers people go for art over gameplay, or in the case of Affordable space adventure, atmosphere.

Its like Yoshis Island and Yoshis story, they both went for new art styles, but one forgot to put in fun gameplay, ones a classic the others forgotten

@Quorthon The difference is monster hunter evolves as you play it, bayonetta is a brawler, people who like the genre will play it, its pretty niche. And Devils third, in what world would nintendo heavily market a super violent first person shooter (with really generic gameplay most likely). Now whose being deliberately ignorant.

Maybe they should make there games better, no one is going to pay that much for a glorified flash game, Look at shovel knight and than look at swords and soldiers 2, which one would you spend 20 bucks on? And no offense to Ronimo Games but i wouldn't play there game if it was free.

Having said all that, i am under the impression that indie games sell, and play better on the 3ds. So I think the article said it better right at the top, dont make wii u exclusives, Unless you are Nintendo, of course.

I liked the levels in the wii version that were more focused on chaining a bunch of jumps together, rather than the puzzles. Hes a character that should be bouncing aroung, the puzzles always trap him behind a door, and they never really use his unique double jump all that well. It still sounds intriguing so i will probobly check it out.

@dkxcalibur Sure it looks really nice graphically, but the gameplay could not be more shallow. And not too disregard the games you mentioned but monster hunter was a capcom game, and steam was made by the b-team of intelligent systems while theier top guys worked on fire emblem, which we wont see for another year, yet its somehow ready for release in japan. it seems like they arent really worried about 3ds fans and are just trying to push consoles... unless they are japanese

@faren916 how about that there a no games announced for a year besides B atlus games and Nintendo shovelware. the pokemon free to play, or that mario match three are nothing more than cheap cash grabs taking advantage of the large user base, instead of giving the biggest group of users something to play, they put there big hits on its other two systems forcing you to uprade. But whatever i can waste tens of thousands of dollers on a single game Iawata could have made in his basement. or you can buy the latest hit from hal labs, and they've finally gotten rid of the boringly cute and charming aesthetic from kirby and smash and replaced it with cold, black and white puzzles...

The worst thing is these games are pushing the price of good eshop games way higher as the developers try to differentiate their games from the garbage. I mean 25 dollers for a way forward game? I'll still get it, shantae I mean, not this.
