I buy consoles for games. Hence why I will own both a WiiU and PS4. With those two and a computer (which everyone owns), there's nothing important I'll be missing out on.

Ratchet and Clank will never go Multi-console. They're a PlayStation icon. That being said, with me owning a Nintendo and PlayStation console I don't really care about this news

I could be dead wrong here considering this is just an assumption, but the reason it could be taking longer is because of the fact that the WiiU is a newer console. Xbox and PlayStation have had their DLC system working for some time now while Nintendo literally just started when the WiiU released, and the WiiU released well after Injustice was in development. Again, this is just a speculation.

I say sell Sonic to Nintendo, I know it won't happen but a guy can dream, and let them reboot the franchise with a "New Super Mario Brothers" type feel to it. Seems like Sega can't do anything Sonic right.

Awesome. I'm glad to know a sequel to one of the craziest games ever is on the way. I'm hoping the Wii U will bring us Nintendo gamers back to the glory days of the Gamecube. It may not have done so well in the eyes of Nintendo, but in my opinion it was Nintendo's best console with the best selection of games.

@Sony_70 Maybe so, if the Kinect was innovative at all. The PlayStation 2 had the Eye Toy, which was the first to allow controller-less gaming. Sony just decided not to focus on it any more while Microsoft decided to do the opposite. Either way, I hope we start moving away from motion gaming.

This is why, for now, I'm sticking with my PS3 for third party games, as well as first party PS games of course. I don't have a Wii U yet, but I plan on getting on whenever I see a good bundle come out soon with a game like Metroid, Zelda, Smash Brothers, or something like that. Hopefully E3 will give me some games to look forward to, or I'm just going to buy a 3DS for Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, and Pokemon for now.

For the love of all things holy NIntendo, please do not continue with the motion control Metroid games. It was a serious downgrade in enjoyability and control for me playing Prime and Echoes on the Wii compared to the Gamecube. In fact, I utterly hated it. It's the only reason I had to literally force myself to beat Corruption. I can't be the only one who feels this way.

@19Robb92 I have to admit that I never knew anything about the game and was honestly not even that interested... that is until I saw some of those screen shots you posted. The game looks awesome visually and very interesting from what I gather from the screen shots. I may have to give it a try.

I would love to see a continuation of the Metroid series as innovative to the series as Metroid Prime was to the Gamecube. That and an HD remake of Metroid Fusion which I doubt will happen

@WaveBoy Congratulations, you've just described the mentality of the vast majority of "gamers" today who think it's not a mature, adult game unless it's CoD, BF, or rated M. I find it funny how most of the people who play those games are literally children.

Even more awesome. I've already decided to get this game regardless of not having played the first. What can I say? I'm a fan of DMC and I imagine I'd be a fan of this, and from what I've read about the synopsis it seems to have a good story. Like I posted on the last news related to Bayonetta 2, I would love for this to become a NIntendo exclusive franchise and have Bayonetta as a Nintendo exclusive character. People shouldn't complain, I mean Xbox got Banjo and Rare and have done absolutely nothing with it. At least Nintendo could make Bayonetta even more awesome than previously thought. Plus I would love to see her in Smash Brothers, lol

I'll most likley get it as long as it isn't has horrible as the classic controller pro. Easily the worst controller I've ever held in my hands. I don't mind light as long as the buttons aren't messed up, but it will take a little for me to get used to having the a button on the right and the b button on the bottom. Hearing the Pro controller could be similar to the classic controller pro worries me a little because I hated it so much, however i'll most likely get it anyway just for fighting games and stuff like Bayonetta. I just want easy access to the D-pad as well as something smaller than the tablet to hold for fighting games. Hopefully the WiiU's D-pad isn't as horrid as the Xbox360's. I would hope Nintendo would be able to produce a good D-pad, lol

I just personally love the idea of owning 3 unique yet equally awesome controllers for one console: The WiiU Tablet, the WiiU Pro, and my LoZ themed Wiimote w/motion plus. It ads a nice variety of gameplay options, something no other console can offer.

I'm pretty excited about this. Bayonetta was a pretty good game, and it could potentially become an awesome series. Hopefully Bayonetta will become a Nintendo exclusive character... mainly because I want her to appear on Smash Brothers She could be a fresh new face to the fantastic list of NIntendo exclusive characters.

Awesome, I was hoping for this. I don't know what happened to some of my Gamecube games unfortunately, but if they were released via virtual console you better believe I'll be buying them. Baten Kaitos, Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, and Star Wars: Rogue Leader (A Fourth Rogue Squadron game needs to be released for the WiiU!), would be the first on my list of must buys.

I'll most likely get the Basic set, not only because the Deluxe sets are already sold out, lol, but because I like white, don't have a super amount of money to spend, want other games than Nintendo Land (although it could be a cool game to own), and already have a 500gb external hard drive that I can use if necessary although I don't plan on downloading much VC or any of that stuff.

Oh Idunno, maybe HD Super Smash Brothers, HD Legend of Zelda, HD Metroid, HD Pikman, HD Fire Emblem, HD Mario everything, HD StarFox, and not to mention the new exclusives coming to the console such as Bayonetta 2, ZombiU, and The Wonderful 101. Just a taste of all the quality entertainment Nintendo offers on their own, not to mention other third party games that will be coming that will use the gamepad in a unique way. Also the fact that the gamepad acts like a second window into the game universe making the game that much more immersive. Again, just a touch of the reasons to get a Wii U. I don't care that the White is 8gb, I'll probably just get the White and use my 500gb external hard drive if necessary. Especially since all the current preorders for the Deluxe edition are all sold out, lol. The Wii let me down as a gamer. It was fine at first with cool exclusives but then Nintendo just let their loyal hard core fans down. The WiiU doesn't seem to be going that direction.

This is a 100% definite buy for someone like me who is a Nintendo, DC, and fighting game fan.

I just wish people would understand that fps and sports games are the casual titles. You just pick them up and play and can put them down whenever. Just because casual gamers think those are hard core titles and therefore call themselves hard core gamers doesn't make that true. facepalm Not that there's anything wrong with being a casual gamer, I just wish people wouldn't associate Nintendo with the "casual" audience when it's really the Xbox that caters more to the casual gamers needs. I suppose people don't see it that way because most of the casual games on Xbox and PS are rated M, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a casual game. That's another delusion most people have these days as well, that it can't be good unless it's rated M. I think if people understood these things then they would not only stop thinking that being a casual gamer is a bad thing but also take Nintendo more seriously.

I know what these people are talking about. Nintendo does have a history of having more "family friendly" games particularly with the Wii, but there's a difference between "family friendly" and "casual". The two are not one in the same.

Prices eventually drop on all games. If the rumors are true then the WiiU will be the only console capable of playing used games, which not only drops the price of the game they're paying for but also makes people more likely to buy games knowing they can trade it in if they don't like it after a certain amount of time.

@misswliu81 Truth, and it's especially funny when you think about the fact that the Xbox360 is more of a kids console than anything. Before any Xbox fans lash out at me hear me out. What games do most casual gamers and kids play these days? First Person Shooters and Sports games. What are Xbox360's core games as advertised? First Person Shooters and Sports games. Truth is, you would expect Xbox gamers to be used to not getting any good exclusive games. Why they're still surprised that they don't get exclusives like Bayonetta really does surprise me a little.

@cammy Yes it can, you just obviously won't be able to get the HD output you could with an HD TV. It's proven by saying it supports 480i and 480p, which is standard definition.

Deluxe is easily the best value.... but I won't have the money for it plus a game by then :/.... I'll just have to wait and see I guess D:

I don't care what you guys say, Star Fox adventures is my favorite Star Fox game. Great story and game play and was a revolution for Star Fox. Hopefully they'll build on it and make a perfect mature-ish Star Fox games that mixes elements from Adventures and 64. Almost like Star Fox, Mass Effect Style. I personally think that will be pretty cool if they took that direction.

One big factor that will be in the WiiU's favor is if the rumors for the new PS and Xbox consoles end up being true. If they end up being like PC's are with games, meaning you buy a game it comes with a code and it can for then on only be used for that account. It would negate the possibility of people buying used games, as once a game is used no one other than the original user can play it. If that happens the WiiU will be the only console with usable used games, meaning a large assortment of it's games will be cheaper, and in this economy that will prove to be a huge asset to Nintendo.

This is awesome. I'm usually not a fan of horror, but a legit survival game cannot be passed up by this Nintendo fan, lol. I'm now...royally... pumped! See what I did there? lol

Seriously, how much better can the specs get anyway while there being a noticeable difference? I still believe that the WiiU will be running the same games as the PS3 and 360 but as their minimum specs. They will have newer, more advanced, and cheaper hardware due to the fact that it's releasing a lot later than the other two did. Even if I'm wrong in that assessment, I don't really care. I play more Nintendo first party games than anything. My biggest complaint about the Wii was the lack of quality first party content.

Hm, I do like the Charging Station Pro. Does anyone know if it includes an external fan or something to cool the WiiU system? I ask because unfortunately I have a problem at my house with my Wii and an Xbox360 my roommate owns overheating. Though I'm not sure if it's because the room they're in usually stays a little warmer, or if it's just the system themselves. Either Way the Charging Station Pro looks like a cool way to keep things organized, and I do like to keep my stuff organized, lol.

@Wheels2050 Only one thing I put on there was my opinion, and that's how I feel about fps games, nothing else was an opinion. They were facts based on the majority of Xbox gamers, the company's focus, and the over all types of games that sell the most for the console.

@Wheels2050 You're right, compared to the list of exclusives that belong to Sony and Nintendo there is absolutely nothing anyone could possibly enjoy out of that list, unless you're a casual gamer. You know, there's a reason not even xbox fans know about all the xbox exclusives, because about 90% of them suck if not more. That's just me being kind. Not to mention that most of them are fps, which to me is the most unintelligent form of gaming. No serious strategy, just running around shooting and the stories always suck (yes, even Halo. Sure, it has the best story of any fps, but compared to games exclusive to Nintendo and Sony it's nothing). When people think of Xbox, they think of 3 franchises: Halo, Fable, and Gears of War... and only one of those two do most Xbox fans even say are good. Tell me, other than those three Franchises what else does Xbox have as a "long term" franchise? Xbox has 1 feature character in general, not just as a mascot. Sony is stuck between 3 for just its mascot (Ratchet and Clank, Sly Cooper, Jack and Daxter) although its other characters are easily associated on a global scale with Sony, and although Nintendo has Mario as a mascot every other exclusive character Nintendo has is also easily associated on a global scale with Nintendo. Microsoft admits and constantly proves that all they care about is online features (which makes sense because they're a computer company), and when they do focus on games it's almost certainly a fps. Heck, their buttons are even called triggers. Not hating on the Xbox, because it plays games so that's awesome, I'm just saying there's reason to associate it with casual fps gamers and not as much for hard core gamers as Sony, and hopefully Nintendo with the release of the WiiU.

@Hybrid17 Why get an Xbox? It has Halo... that's it. Sure, it's good for fps, that seems to be all it's good for, but if you want everything the xbox has (minus Halo, being the only good thing they have) and a heck of a lot more, then you might as well get a PS3 or the WiiU. The Xbox is the console for casual gamers.

@Varia01 Samus is one of my favorite Nintendo characters and Metroid is one of my favorite franchises, and I'm a guy, lol. Samus is cool. What I hope to see from her is instead of just having her suit different colors, giver her literally her other suits. I would love to see a selection that let you pick the original Varia suit, Dark Suit, Light Suit, Phazon suit, Fusion suit, etc instead of just similar color options. Hopefully that will happen with other characters too like LInk. I would love to see his blue version be his water suit from Twilight Princess instead of just a classic suit that happens to be blue. Basically what I'm saying is I hope that instead of just different colors we'll get access to different outfits for each character.

I don't care if the Gamecube sold the least amount of consoles, it was still the best console Nintendo has ever put out with the best games Nintendo had as well as having the best controller any console has seen. It also thoroughly beating down what little content Xbox had and still lacks. Luigi's Mansion was a fun game and I hope the second one is just as fun.

I like it a lot. Blue and yellow is a good color combination. I hope it stays this.

I'm glad they're focused on not adding too many non-Nintendo Characters. It really would ruin the feel of the game, although I hope Sonic stays. I have a list of Nintendo exclusive characters I would love to see added:

Also, this is going out on a limb, but this character has been getting a lot of abuse lately, and I think he could really thrive in a game like SSB. This one is the only non-nintendo exclusive I would like to see. Who is this character you ask? Why, Megaman of course. I think he would be a great addition to this game as long as he's not old and fat.

Smash Brothers should stay Nintendo only with a couple of guest characters, that would be fun. And before people start recommending stupid crap like Naruto, Ichigo, or freaking Goku you need to understand this: SSB is a collaboration of Video Game Characters, not characters who's origins are not in video games. I just want a large roster, for the gameplay to go back to feeling like Melee with improvements of course in the possitive direction unlike Brawl (my main was Falco and he felt too different in Brawl fro me to use him right), and for there to be no guest characters who don't fit. Frankly, I don't believe anyone from Tekken or Soul Calibur would fit in a SSB game. That's just me though.

At this point in time I don't think the graphical power of systems can get THAT much better anyway, so if there is a difference between the power of Nintendo and the next Playstation (because regardless of what some people think, Xbox isn't as powerful as the PS3 and I predict the same will be true for the next gen) I don't think it will be all that noticeable.
