im kind of disapointed in this. i love donkeykong and i would love to see a 3d donkey kong game. but i wish it was a new DK game instead of a ported version of the most recent one.

to be honest i didnt really feel a huge need to see a mario cameo just because bowser was in the movie. the movie was great as is, the movie was based around a character in a game who was supposed to be a villan so it obviously felt more natural to add bowser there instead of mario, if they tried to add every character as a cameo from said game for each game the movie would have felt like they were trying to shove big name characters down the audiences throat instead of making a good storyline. they did a great job and the story line was awesome, im actually glad they didnt make big name video game characters main characters in the movie, if they did it would have seemed that gaming companies were just fighting for screen time and recognizably so they could boost sales.

amazing game, i wonder if they will make a co op storyline option like they origonally planned to do but just didnt have enough time to put it thorugh. it would be definatly worth getting on a consol that gave its look and resolution a much better form.

the first paper mario is what got me hooked on the paper mario series, long gameplay and storyline as well as a great set of characters to use and interact with, never played the thousand year door but i REALLY want to. and super paper mario threw out the rpg element of the game more or less but it made up for it in the amount of abilities and characters to use as well as story and length of play. sticker star was a great game itself but it is lacking compared to the other ones. i liked the sticker element of the game it was nice, but i felt like i was getting the short end of the stick. paper mario was known as a game for being very lengthy and having a lot of different characters to talk and interact with. i honestly thought that having just toads as npc's was more or less just lazy, despite them having different personalities which they really kind of didnt. the story was kind of simplistic and kind of dry, and the game was much shorter than the usual paper mario's. i really hope this dosent turn into a copy/paste game like the New super mario brothers. this paper mario was good but i have to say it doesnt rightly stack up to the rest of them.

xbox is a absolutly horrible system, it caters to those ppl who only play call of duty, halo and madden and call themselves gamers. it has a massive breakdown rate and the kinect was a complete fail, ill stick to good systems like ps3, and wii.

honestly i would like to see a brand new game come out, new characters and stories. the zelda and mario remakes are nice but eventually they get stale. im not saying i WOULDNT like a new f zero game. honestly i think it could be a rather fun game with the wii u. but a new game by nintendo all together would be nice, i would just ask that they plz not make another FPS, there have been tons of those spewing out these last few years.

man, you know for the longest time i thought it was just a one on one fighter cause thats what the screenshots looked like. after seeing the gameplay it takes a lot after shinging force, which makes me think that sega was the one who designed the rpg style. this really makes me wanna play it now.

peta is idiotic, it is a fictonial game based in a fictonial world with fictonial characters. im sorry i dont see children who play pokemon grab their nearest pet, shove it inside a ball and make it fight the neighbor kid's dog. its sad when children understand what it real and what isnt and peta who is (supposedly) run by adults cant seem to grasp reality.

honestly i see his point with what he is saying. its like when x box rushed the first 360 system out because they wanted to be the cool kids on the block, instead of waiting and imporiving like nintendo and sony did with the ps3 and wii. shortly after it came out there was a slew of x boxes breakiing down and they didnt have the power of its two newer competitors. but they upgraded and added new hardware and are now up to par. now i see nintendo rushing out a new system to be better than the other two instead of waiting it out, and i see the same result happening. they are going to have to do some major hardware updates in the future to be on the same playing level with the other two systems when they come out. however this will not stop me from getting a wii u. lol im stoked its coming out so soon.

its a good game and all and i would like it on a handheld but i think the creator is beating a dead horse trying to bring it to nintendo, they said no once before. and i dont think he exactly gets why, updating the graphics and adding new maps, bosses, etc. isnt going to change their mind. he would have to dumb it down so they can slap a T or E rating on it. honestly if he did that it would ruin the game.

this was an awesome game, i was sad to see nintendo dropped rare but they had their reasons for it. the single player was fantastic as is and the multi player was great as well.

nintendo and sony maybe but Micro crap would ruin everything like they usually do.

gamecube controller isnt the only way to play smash bros, he is right. BUT it has so far been one of the best ways.

i would LOVE to see the N64 ones on the nintendo eshop. and bass, for most Eshop games there is this wonderful device they put in called a restore point in which you could use to save your progress any time you want.

i honestly belive that video game companies shouldnt be the ones being bashed for kids playing games rated M or T 18+ the parents that are the ones who are dumb enough to buy these games for children and let them play it only later to be appauled to find out that it has excessive violence. they should be responsable and do the parent thing and actually take the time to look up the rating. it says why its rated M under the friggin rating anyhow.

you know one or two of namco's characters in the new smash bros game wont be bad to be honest. its something i would expect, but on the flip side of that i dont want namco overloading the roster with their characters. what i was more worried about really was namco trying to change the gameplay mechanic of smash bros to something more along the lines of tekken or soul calibur. i like smash bros brawl style for its freedom of movement and fluidity. honestly the only thing they should take away from that was the randomized tripping that would happen in brawl. honestly i have no idea why they decided that that would make a good gameplay mechanic. but as far as characters in this one im expecting astaroth to be in brawl seeing as he is their main character for cameo's and proabally hai heachi from tekken but thats about it.

im really hoping for both actually, but at this point my trust in capcom is lacking.

mahe thats because they, for some weird reason. think that all the 3ds titles that are in japan wont sell well enough, cough MH tri 3d cough and some others as well. nintendo and other game companies need to grow a pair and start releasing outside of japan.

yeah im sticking with physical copies. im sorry i dont see the appeal of double club nintendo points when the stuff they offer on there is basically junk to begin with. the only thing thats really worth getting is the giant mii ar card. and whats the point of downloading the game for the exact same price as if you would buy it physically? honestly it should be cheaper seeing as it would cost less for them do put it for download seeing as they dont have to spend the time and money creating box art and manuals.

personally it suits me better to buy the game physically seeing as i work at a retail store where i can get a 10 percent discount on games anyhow. if they are gonna make downloads full price they should at least work to add on some better content with the game.

so japan or some other countries get cool nintendo based polo shirts, europe gets awesome mario kart 7 trophies. and what does america get? a deck of friggin playing cards. x_X

eh starfox has kind of gone downhill. the only real good starfox game was the 64 one and after that the rest of them turned out rather bad.

a lot of people when they see a new game only care about how it looks. if i had a nickle for every time i heard "how are the graphics?" i would be flippin rich. honestly they should be asking how is the gameplay instead of graphics. gameplay is what makes the game, graphics are just icing on the cake. i have played tons of games with amazing graphical quality but the game itself sucked so bad i never went back to it again. and yet there are still games that i love replaying over and over again with horrible graphics, just for the sheer gameplay of it.

i agree ps+ service works for me but if its like x box live service where you HAVE to pay per month then forget it.

its ok but yeah they did focus a bit too much on coin grabbing to me, if you get a life for every 100 coins you get added with the fact that coins look as if they just pour out of every hole and enemy you step on it kind of takes away from the challenge and the point of having lives in the game. it ceases to be a challenge if theres no consiquence. they should have added in some of the older mario suits like the cape, or the boot. heck, they should have re added the giga mushroom that thing was fun lol

i could see a few companies that would be a better choice. having namco in this kind of worries me. honestly i would have been happier if capcom were in it instead of namco.

i honestly want both but to me it would make more sense to put a link to the past as a 3d classics game for the e shop. and do a cartrage reliese for majoras mask like N64Dude said.

glad this didnt happen honestly, both are space based games but on two entirely different ends of the spectrum, it would be RIDICULOUS for these two to have a crossover.

i downloaded the demo and didnt like it. visually its nice if not for being a little blury, and the controls are kind of bad, he slides around way too much and you can glitch yourself into corners you cant get out of. that and the sounds are way too repetative and irritating.

in my honest opinion here i dont see this as a bad game. but i dont think its one i would go buy. its pretty much another side scrolling fighter game. i was pretty excited when i saw that three different game companies were working on a game together and i was really hoping it wasnt a fighter. i was hoping they would put their creative minds together and come up with a completely new game instead of mashing their big name characters into one game and seeing which one would win in a fight. the only thing that really surprises me about this game is that namco didnt jam pac man or astaroth into this one.
