Yeah but higher detail texture mapping and improved lighting and animation will look better no matter the resolution, all the PS4 trailers ran in 1080p, think of Dreamcast and GameCube they both ran at 640x480 but GameCube still looked better due to its hardware same case here.

If PS4 comes in at the rumored £300/£350 then Wii U may suffer big time, but hopefully if Sony do announce a price like that Nintendo will lower its price to something a little more sensible like £200 or a £250 bundle pack with Mario Kart or whatever the big holiday release is at the time, at the moment though Wii U needs games and its such a shame that Nintendo didn't have any big games ready to ship for the first year (Yes Pikmin is great but no system seller) which is a massive oversight, they could have used this one year head start, but the lack of games is killing sales.

Ah good to hear its coming to Wii U interested to see how they use the game pad as for me I'll probably get it on Next Xbox, PS4 or PC.

Yeah there is no chance of the game looking like the E3 demo on Wii U would be awesome if there was but never gonna happen that was all running on PC far more advanced and need for speed is no system breaking game on PC.

I don' think this will come to Wii U, I'd like it too just don't see it happening, people have asked Ubi and they just say we have nothing to announce about Wii U which I could see being a no in the long run but here's hoping, the whole hacker premise of the game would be quite cool when's there's a certain gamepad involved.

Nintendo need to fix this, i used to buy loads on my Wii until i couldn't get back my downloads, (I bought a black Wii when they came out n gave the old one to my Brother) Now i won't even go for downloads any more since its a mess to sort if something does happen where you lose them.

Also I wish this would come in a double pack with a HD version of Twilight Princess that would look pretty good with a new gloss of paint n some tweaks that along with Wind Waker HD would make one awesome purchase!

I hope when it does come out it looks a bit more like the original (cel shading wise) it does look good but looks a bit off because of it.

Hopefully i can get myself one this week, really want it,sucks i wasn't able to get the limited edition one though.

Ah man yeah if you have a lot of like 50 plus VC games, think there should be some sort of bigger discount if you have a ton, i've been lucky that i never bought that much only ones that never came over to UK such as Mario RPG.

I would have expected the GBA VC to be on 3DS first though hopefully it does, for some reason never been into playing my portable games on the TV, never got the GB player and such good to see won't have to pay much for the Wii U upgrade though, oh and please Nintendo when it comes to the N64 get some more games up, DK64, Turok 1&2, Mischief Makers, Wetrix, are a few i'd like to see.

Also pretty pleased that you won't have to pay full price for owned VC games on Wii U, always new you'd have to pay but glad its not much for the upgrade.

I felt it was a pretty good showing, like the fact they are going to use Epic Yarn's style in a new game, the news of a new Mario at E3 and Wind Waker by the end of the year and the system updates coming might get me to invest in a Wii U sooner rather than later.

Ah nice, loved the SNES version might give this a look in, loved the music in this game.

A new battalion wars would be awesome on the gamepad me thinks but another overkill would be awesome too.

totally agree there, i love the wii u my mate has one and i've really enjoyed it, but have yet to buy one for this reason have no clue what or when 1st party titles will be out and some of the biggest games this year are missing the wii u such as bioshock and gta 5, which is a real shame.

Hopefully won't be too long then, good to ear though, is till don't know how GCN titles will work if they com to VC though the Wii U lacks the analog triggers.

I enjoyed the game myself yeah it was a bit of a zelda clone and it didn't need fox but as an adventure game over all it was a fun game, and not a bad one for rare to go out on nintendo consoles.

Price i think is the major issue, mass effect 3 for £45 when i can get all three on ps3 or 360 for £35 or £40, they need to be the same price they have no real need to be that price, and tbh there's really nothing note worthy on the system yet either old ports or un intresting nintendo games yeah mario bros u is good, but the casual buyer will just think its a minor update to the wii original.

They both have advantages the 360 has a lot more games, nearly all the Wii U third party line up, the games and console are at a cheaper price too, don't get me wrong the Wii U has pontentiel with games such as Zombi U and a few others, the 360 is a great console and i have faith that the Wii U will be as well but at this moment in time other than Zombie U and Mario the 360 has all the other games plus great ones such as Dishonored, Hitman, XCOM, and Bioshock next year, also the PS3 is a great choice as well, at the end of the day it comes down to what you love i have always liked my Nintendo's over the competition but that doesn't mean the others are bad, but what ever people choose this holiday everyone's in for a great time.

Nah this wouldn't be that great of an idea, first the game is mega old n i think if the Wii U does have MMORPG's then they should be made for the Wii U in mind from the off set.

Yeah would be great to see another Metroid, but i keep remembering that raven blade RPG on GCN that they were making i though it looked pretty interesting.

Tbh, it does have most games that Wii U does such as Black Ops and Assassins Creed, and a few of its own such as Halo and games like batman are like £15 on 360 now, plus it is cheaper, they do have a good argument here i think, but i already own one so I'm not the target here, and i will be getting a Wii U for Mario and Zombie U but mutli platform games i will probably go 360 until next year anyways, but i could see how they could lure potential buyers away if there's any left after all the pre orders have gone, hopefully not too many will go for the 360 option.

I think Alucard is either Trevor or Simon (which ever one is his son in the story) having been turned by Gabriel, which would make sense to me.

Nah you shouldn't have to, just got the game and it has a pretty extensive recap of the story so far.

Ah can't wait to get one, and set it next to the Nintendo's i have already, also nice Resi 4 GameCube own one of them my self.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Resident Evil game on Wii U, i think it should be a new game though and not a port of 6, More in line with Revelations which had a more eerie atmosphere.

Quite a good list pretty much agree with it, but i would have put Last Story in there, oh and maybe Okami

It did have some great games, true you had to wait for them a lot of the time and it had probably not the best 3rd party support but i will defiantly look back on it fondly, plus i still need to get and play some games e.g Xenoblade n such.

I love the Nintendo 64 one, I remember having that promo on a tape, my bro got loads of 64 promo stuff when he did work experience at THE Games who handled Nintendo distribution, used to watch it over and over until i got my 64.

Quite good, i mean could have been better, the lack of Nintendo being mentioned i also thought was a bit puzzling, but does its purpose and good to see ad's now getting in front of the general public is always good.

I really want them to do something original, a new IP or something. I would love to see what they can come up with outside of Nintendo franchises.

What happens if they release GC games, neither Classic Controller or (i think so, not too sure) Wii U pro Controller have analog triggers, the latter i find a bit of a weird choice.

If i remember correctly,the original classic controller doesn't have analog triggers thus why it did not support GameCube games.

I don't reckon it'll be DQ, SquareEnix would most likely handle that one themselves

I would hope tomb raider, seems the only logical one to me since it can release with the other formats, doubt it would be thief 4 I'm pretty sure its been said its next gen bound now but whatever the game it'll be good to see more coming to Wii U.

The Gamepad screen does not display 720p or 1080p its lower sub HD still looks nice though due to the smaller screen it looks sharper

Ah this is good news, it does make me wonder though how much performance you'd be able to get out of Wii U if you didn't decide to use the gamepad.

Lets hope if they do bring it over the things they fix or change are important ones such as, frame rate, tighter controls, better aiming and just make sure its all polished up a bit more. its a bit of a mixed bag on 360 and PS3.

The console will cost bugger all to make tbh its all last gen hardware well the best of last gen hard ware i think the controller is costing the most out of this hardware

Hopefully this does come out on Wii u, it'll be interesting to see if they do interesting with the game pad.

I would think hardcore gamer's would want the deluxe model rather than the 8GB, I think they would rather have it in black as well

I'm not to fussed with the price of games (been paying that for 360 games for ages) as long as the game is good it'll be worth the money.

I agree with all the points above tbh, oh and there's gonna be a HD Zelda at some point which is reason enough!

i'd want both but if it was only one it would be a remake of ALTTP that would be awesome with the 3DS screen would have to be 2D or 2.5D though no fully 3d remake.
