You get 250 stars per wii game, and a 1000 points card costs 4000 stars. It's insane.

At least the shops wont be able to rip you off now. 2000 Wii points were £14 when you pay by card in the Wii shop, but they were £20 to buy at retail. So at least that is good news.

There is no way that the trade price is £173 excluding VAT. I pre-ordered my 3DS for £197.93 from The Hut (The price has since gone back to £217.93 though) so that would mean that they are making a £10 loss which clearly isn't the case. There is talk of HMV getting 3DS's for £159 including VAT which sounds more realistic and leaves room for price reductions. I guess we will probably never know for sure.

Not that much of a difference once the dust has settled then. Let's see how many more UK retailers drop it below £200. We could be in for some fun.

The Hut has changed their price for the 3DS to £197.93. I just pre-ordered it. It also comes with an £80 Experience Day voucher. So maybe i can play my new 3DS while i am abseiling.
