@MattKimura What a bad attitude to have. If you don't even care about the demo, how is it fair for you to get the codes, just so you can sell them for money, when there are people out there who really want to play the game?

The amount of people I have seen trying to make a buck out of the demo and exploiting people's desperation of wanting to play the game is disgraceful imo

I can't beleive how well it plays on 3DS. It handles very well, I would almost suggest that it feels at home on a handheld console, but I will obviously try out the Wii U version too. It would be nice of there were a couple of unlockables in there, but I'm happy I'm getting the practice in.

Reverandjames commented on Nintendo Download: 11th September (Europe):

@Reusinck I got Minish Cap as an ambassador, and can't undetstand why it wasn't released for 3DS VC. I think Nintendo should stick to releasing handheld virtual console titles on 3DS and console VC on Wii U. We need 64, GC and more NES and SNES games on Wii, and need to see more for 3DS VC too. Still waiting for Pokemon Red/Blue and so on.

Reverandjames commented on New Mighty No. 9 Trailer Builds The Hype as Ke...:

@JaxonH Same. For me, MH and Phoenix Wright are the only franchises that have stayed consistent. Every other franchise is used as a money pit. Street Fighter 4 is ridiculous, they seriously need to stop juicing that game now.
I really thought that capcom were getting resident evil back on track with revelations, but it seems like they are going back to their old ways with re-releases and half-baked sequels.
You can see why Inafune turned to kickstarter to fund Mighty No. 9. Capcom would never have a allowed a new IP like that or probably would have cancelled it if it was a Mega Man game.

Reverandjames commented on Resident Evil Revelations 2 Confirmed By Capco...:

@Gamer83 Exactly. I would understand to a certain extent if the 3DS version sold badly, but it didn't. That game felt right at home on a handheld, possibly this is the reason for the underwhelming sales on PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U, and they then try and justify this by not releasing the game on ANY Nintendo platform. I really don't understand Capcom sometimes.

Reverandjames commented on Resident Evil Revelations 2 Confirmed By Capco...:

I pre-ordered and bought Resident evil Revelations for 3DS when it first came out and got the circle pad pro with it. I Spent my hard earned cash in January 2012 when money is tight, but I didn't care because I loved Capcom and I loved Resident Evil. I Played the story to completion and played a lot of the excellent multiplayer. So how do Capcom think it's fair to shaft someone like me? They obviously feel that someone like me doesn't deserve a sequel to one of my favourite games of 2012. Good job I own a PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360, but guess what? I won't be buying the game this time around. I am going to completely boycott this game because I don't feel that Capcom deserves my money. I'm finding myself less and less inclined to buy games from these companies anymore.

Reverandjames commented on New Nintendo 3DS Models Announced:

@Radbot42 Same. I have a standard 3DS, and was going to updgrade to XL, and now obviously I won't, but I don't know if the new XL will be too big?

The New Standard looks to be half way in between a Standard and an XL size wise, so might go for that version.

Reverandjames commented on Mario Kart 8 DLC Coming In November, Features ...:

@Zach I think you've hit the nail on the head there. People complain that Nintendo don't keep up with Sony and Microsoft and blame this reason for them not selling consoles, and when the try out these strategies, they get criticised for it. It's also worth pointing out that £12 is insanely good value for a bunch of new tracks and racers, whereas I think at one point, Activision were charging £15 for 3 multiplayer maps.

Can't beleive this argument is still going on. It's not like this ks the first time Nintendo has done this for first party games. What about pikmin and NSMB2? You could argue and say Luigi U was DLC if it wasn't also standalone.
I can see both points of view but really can't understand why people are so against it. It's optional DLC with a few extras should you wish to purchase. The developers can't make all this new content for free, and as this comment section has proved, there are a lot of people willing to pay, so why wouldn't Nintendo do it?
I think the worst example of DLC for me is when you can see the extra conent already on the game, but cannot access it until you pay extra for it. Kane and Lynch 2 did this and I got rid of the game as a result.

Reverandjames commented on Mario Kart 8 DLC Coming In November, Features ...:

This is great. Great great great. To the people out there who are against it: you do realise there is an option to NOT buy the DLC, right?

For me, this is Nintendo moving forward and realising that certain strategies that other companies use ca work for them too. Mario Kart is already a huge game and is well worth the price tag. I'm happy to pay for more at the fraction of the price of the full game.

I just hope that Nintendo doesn't go crazy and go all 'Ubisoft' on us.....

Reverandjames commented on That Shocking Pokémon Announcement Was Arcade...:

I don't know about this one, on one hand I think it could be cool, and on the other, I think it could be a horrible game. I do like Nintendo trying new things and mashing together games. I'm hoping next for a Donkey Kong game using the Ubi Art engine ;-)

Reverandjames commented on Talking Point: The Wii U May be Best as One of...:

I kind of see it like each console that I own fills the gap when there are mo games out (that I want to play). Done with all my PS4 games for now, and care too much for forcing myself to play the PS plus games just because they are free, and now about to move back onto the Wii U to play a bit more Mario Kart while I wait for the imminent release of Hyrule Warriors. I will probably stay with the Wii U as the PS4 doesn't really have a lot of games that I'm going to play now for the rest of the year. But when 2015 hits, I'll probably move back to PS4 for The Order, Uncharted etc.

Reverandjames commented on Talking Point: The Wii U May be Best as One of...:

Back when the PS4 was launched I had the money to buy either a PS4, or a Wii U. For some reason I went with a Wii U, and haven't really regreted it since. Wind Waker HD, SM3DW, Pikmin 3, MK8 and Rayman Legends are some of the best and most memorable gaming experiences I've had in a long time. Oh, and I know Rayman Legends is available on other consoles, but that game was MADE for Wii U.
I have a PS4 now, and it's a great console, but it doesn't have enough games to warrant the price tag still for me. I still feel like I need to get my money's worth out of it, and remake after HD remaster isn't doing it for me right now, whereas Hyrule Warriors, Smash Bros and Treasure Tracker has me pretty excited for the rest of the year.

Reverandjames commented on Poll: Which Is The Best Super Mario Platformer?:

I voted for 64 as it's my favourite and the Mario game I remember most fondly, however I do feel like Super Mario World is the better game.

It's difficult to vote for the best Mario game as the 2D and 3D games feel completely different from each other.
