I find all this celebrating '20 years of Playstation' BS if I'm honest, considering the state of their current console. Yes it has sold loads but only because of the empty promises that were made and not delivered, and they got away with it up until now. Next year, they really need to step things up and start making it 'for the players' and not 'for the sales'.

@boxmonkey Same buddy, all my friends own PS4's whereas I own both, and I have to convince them to play MK8 if they come round. Sad really that everyone seems to follow trends blindly now.

@DESS-M-8 Whilst I agree that Nintendo's Xmas limeup should have been stronger, again I don't think anyone cares about those games apart from Nintendo fans, or even just F Zero fans. I think a brand new IP by a 3rd party developer who isn't Platinum, and using a license would do the trick. Something suprising that no one would expect.

There was no need for that Call of Duty jab really was there? Dismissing the higest selling entertainment product of the year? I agree that releasing it on Wii U would have been pointless, but at this stage, Nintendo needs 3rd party support more than ever, and cannot keep pumping money into first party games. It's good for us Nintendo fans, but bad for business.

I find PS4 and XB1 to be empty, soulless consoles to be honest. Not a great deal of decent exclusives on either, and both owners seem to be pre occupied by how many their cherished console has sold, or whether they get more frames per second, or a higher resolution rather than focusing on enjoying their games. I have a PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360, my PS3 and 360 are broken and I have had nothing but problems with with my PS4, so I don't play on it. I'd rather play on my working Wii U and enjoy my games rather than force my way through another CoD, and game in a toxic enviroment.

I really don't care that there is a lack of 3rd party support for Wii U, I have never bought 3rd party games for Nintendo consoles over other consoles. I own a Wii U so I can play Nintendo games, and exclusive games like Bayo 2 and W101.

Nintendo really just needs to find a dev who will produce gold like rare did. Not to say Platinum aren't doing a fine job, but Goldeneye, Banjo and Perfect Dark are some of the finest games ever made. I remember wanting an N64 just so I could play Goldeneye. I think that's the key for Nintendo right there.

Reverandjames commented on Review: Hyrule Warriors (Wii U):

It seems to me that critics are marking the game down on the basis that "zelda fans wanting a traditional zelda experience will be disappointed" and "it's not your typical zelda game". If you by this game expecting it to be like Wind Waker HD and haven't done your homework on what this game actually is, you deserve to be disappointed. This a tecmo Warriors game with the zelda brand. If you don't like the warriors games, or don't like the sound of what a warriors game is, don't buy it.

@MattKimura What a bad attitude to have. If you don't even care about the demo, how is it fair for you to get the codes, just so you can sell them for money, when there are people out there who really want to play the game?

The amount of people I have seen trying to make a buck out of the demo and exploiting people's desperation of wanting to play the game is disgraceful imo

I can't beleive how well it plays on 3DS. It handles very well, I would almost suggest that it feels at home on a handheld console, but I will obviously try out the Wii U version too. It would be nice of there were a couple of unlockables in there, but I'm happy I'm getting the practice in.

@Reusinck I got Minish Cap as an ambassador, and can't undetstand why it wasn't released for 3DS VC. I think Nintendo should stick to releasing handheld virtual console titles on 3DS and console VC on Wii U. We need 64, GC and more NES and SNES games on Wii, and need to see more for 3DS VC too. Still waiting for Pokemon Red/Blue and so on.

@JaxonH Same. For me, MH and Phoenix Wright are the only franchises that have stayed consistent. Every other franchise is used as a money pit. Street Fighter 4 is ridiculous, they seriously need to stop juicing that game now.
I really thought that capcom were getting resident evil back on track with revelations, but it seems like they are going back to their old ways with re-releases and half-baked sequels.
You can see why Inafune turned to kickstarter to fund Mighty No. 9. Capcom would never have a allowed a new IP like that or probably would have cancelled it if it was a Mega Man game.
