I'm proud to be a brony! =D
Male, 22, United States
I'm passionate about video games, been playing since the mid-90's! =) I'm mostly into retro gaming (particularly SNES/SFC games), although I still play some of the newer games from time to time. I believe in the concept of decency and kindness, plus I am a generous, respectful user.

13 and a father? Who did he marry at such a young age? That just sounds sick!
(emoticon used to represent disgust and not for the usual reason)
Oh, and I agree, it's pretty sad what happened there. It's easy to see why violent video games are to blame (and the fact that there are some people that do not recognize the difference between fiction and reality, but never mind that), but it's really the parents that should be held responsible.

The best SNES game is Terranigma, imo, but since it wasn't on the list I went with Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (which is another excellent game, in my book)
It was a good list overall

RetroBrony91 commented on A New Yoshi's Island Title is Coming to 3DS:
Oh, my God, for serious? I love Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, so I hope the 3DS installment will be good as well (and far surpass the decent-as-a-game-itself/disappointment-as-a-sequel Yoshi's Island DS)

Ah, Mickey Mouse's first MegaDrive/Genesis game, Castle of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse is a very fun game, and one of my top favorite Disney games starring Disney's mouse (alongside The Great Circus Mystery starring Mickey & Minnie and Mickey & Donald: Magical Adventure 3)
I like that new cover

Ecco Jr. was released on the MegaDrive/Genesis, not the Game Gear; you may want to fix that
I like the 16-bit Ecco trilogy, I think they're fun and enjoyably good games, imo; I never played the Dreamcast installment before, though I heard mixed things about that one

@KnightRider666 - that game was developed by Hudson Soft, though, not Capcom. Capcom only published it when it was released in America.

Seriously, though, that trailer looked fantastic!
Almost makes me want to buy a Wii U (maybe in a few months but not right now); I really enjoyed the original game and the show that it's based on

@Nibelilt - thank you for preserving the movie's aspect ratio (2.39:1)! If the movie ever gets shown on TV outside of Blu-Ray and DVD, I really hope they do not resort to pan-and-scan like they do tons of other really widescreen movies that are shown on TV, 'cause I really hate that!! Who gives a damn about borders so long as you're watching the movie the director intended to show it to the audience?!
If they do resort to pan-and-scan (in which case they have no respect for the director's vision whatsoever), I'll always have the Blu-Ray and/or DVD to watch at home. Of course, this is just a pet peeve of mine.

I like Tails' Adventure, I think it's a very engaging game (played on Sonic Gems Collection), though I have yet to finish it. The music is catchy, from what I remember; I may have to try and replay it again one of these days.

But seriously though, I'm not that bothered by that; I'm sure it might enjoy equal success in various consoles. I do feel bad that the game won't be around for another seven months now. I really enjoyed Rayman Origins on the PlayStation 3 when I played it with my cousin, and I hope the sequel is good (even though I won't be getting a Wii U for awhile now).

RetroBrony91 commented on Review: Super C (3DS eShop / NES):
^ I was speaking in a joking tone at that point and was making a subtle parody/reference to a certain online reviewer (NC). I guess what caught my attention was the way the word was used, it almost sounded like that one inappropriate four-letter word (I never heard of that band, though). I was kidding, a little, but also showed my initial reaction in that post. This isn't something I would lose sleep over; my initial reaction was surprised that's all. That comment before was meant to be a joke, and it wasn't my intention to have it be taken seriously (this is what happens when the internet doesn't have facial and sound cues).

...and the award for most controversial tagline in a family-friendly website goes to: points to this review that!!!
But looking past that, I am very curious about this game and I really should get it some time (not sure why I haven't thought of buying it before, seeing as I heard super great things about it for years)! I really enjoyed Contra III: The Alien Wars, so I'm hoping Super C will be a good time as well!

Oh, my God, that really was Doug Walker that I spotted early in the video! Awesome!!!
I'm not certain if it's a 2.35:1, 2.39:1, or 2.40:1 aspect ratio but who cares, I'm all for watching things in widescreen!
Neat cameo
Also sweet, a letterbox widescreen format!
As for the video, it's cool. It's certainly interesting, even though I couldn't help but be reminded of The Hunger Games near the end (maybe it's the similar exposition deep inside the forest and one moment where it was going through shaky-cam?). Acting was so-so, but Sonic looked cool, and Robotnik was menacing, plus the music was great. I liked it!

RetroBrony91 commented on Renegade Kid Worried About 3DS Piracy:
@Swiket - perhaps it is, I agree, but I don't wish to take any chances. The reason I didn't buy it at the time was because I was ordering SNES games from eBay, and even when I did go to stores, something else always caught my attention.

RetroBrony91 commented on Renegade Kid Worried About 3DS Piracy:
Software pirates, hmmph! They ruin everything! >=(
For a personal example: I was given Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride for the DS a few years ago (little did I know that I was given a pirated copy), curious to try a Dragon Quest game for the first time, and the first few minutes it wasn't so bad, all I had to was talk to everyone on board the boat in the beginning of the game. I did, which should've caused the boat to dock to the next area, but it never happened. So I decided to try over and over again, but nothing kept happening. It was because of this misfortune that's made me swear to myself to never play a Dragon Quest game again, even if the likelihood of their piracy is slim. And you know who's to blame for that??
Pirates! Software Pirates!!
Those scum ruined my foray into the Dragon Quest series and have scared me from trying another one; they deserve to get caught, every last one of them!!! I will never forgive them for this, NEVER!

I don't get people sometimes; what goes on in some peoples' minds is a real mystery
