Masahiro Sakurai on the Kid Icarus series: "I'M FINISHED!"

In Mario Power Tennis' single-player Tournament Mode, players couldn't turn Power Shots off. In order to unlock more content in the game, players had to play through the Tournament Mode. I don't hate Power Shots, yet I'm not their biggest fan.

Mario Tennis is the reason why I love to play tennis (casually). It's nice to see the series back away from the Power Shots while still offering fun new modes and Mii customization. The RPG mode will be missed, but on the plus side, I won't have to worry about taking forever to give my characters the experience points I have earned (that took forever!).

Good old Mario... I feel like this is the Super Mario Renaissance, too, mostly because the famed plumber is going on more real adventures these days than drifting off into spin-off territory (and even then, most of those spin-offs were well-crafted).

I like that the ink-spewing Piranha Plants from Super Mario 3D Land and a Super Mario Galaxy-inspired mode are included in this game. I'll definately consider purchasing this game.

I love a good hand-drawn game. If the 3D effect is like that of Mighty Switch Force!, then this will be another great example of hand-drawn 3D done right on N3DS. I'm looking forward to this title.
By the way, Pete should be careful. Bowser might sue him for stealing his Thwomp idea.

I kind of figured that players wouldn't have to sing along. Still, call me crazy, but I'm actually looking forward to the songs. Most of the songs in animated Disney movies are fantastic, and knowing how big a Disney fan Warren Spector is, the songs in the game should be excellent.

I agree! Kid Icarus: Uprising is fantastic. I knew that it was going to be great, but I never realized that it would become my personal favorite N3DS game so far. It's a perfect blend of quality and quantity, much like Super Smash Bros. Melee and Brawl. A fantastic game.

Sweet! I especially like how the Link costume resembles the style introduced in Skyward Sword.

I like the way this guy thinks. The Cape Feather was a fantastic power-up in Super Mario World and should make a return in a future game.

I doubt that this is real, but I have high hopes that someday Retro Studios will make a Donkey Kong Land Returns for 3DS.

Honestly, I think Japan is doing just fine. I just think Sam Fish made a dumb comment about his opinion. As long as the games are good, whether or not a series is being milked, I'm okay. Still, it would be nice to see some new game series...

It's nice to finally have a portable Punch-Out!!, but I'm not sure if I want it, seeing how I already own it on the Wii.

Half Pipes meet Warp Pipes. Sounds fun! Maybe it will be in the sequel. I'm not crazy about having my face on Peach's body (she would have serious Peach fuzz!).

All three sound interesting. I played Sonic Triple Trouble in Sonic Gems Collection and thought that it was fun (more fun than the ultra-challenging Game Gear Sonic 2), plus Shinobi has peaked my interest.

Punch-Out!! and the Rhythm Thief demo are my highlights. I am especially anticipating the latter.

This is the first time I've heard about something Poo related Nintendo-wise since Earthbound!

I should come back to play this very soon, especially since I gave it the update. Metroid should be much more enjoyable with the Suspend feature.

@Squiggle55: The reasons I didn't like 8 so much were the fact that it lacked a true widescreen mode, had pretty bland visuals, lame character choices (Blooper? Seriously?), and a boring single-player mode. At least that's my opinion. I'm not trying to troll or anything. If you like it, by all means like it!

Back to Mario Party 9, I am surprisingly excited about it! I'm going to rent it first, though.

WARNING: The following comment is positive.
While I am kind of bummed that this isn't a 3DS release, The Pokémon Company at least has a good idea going for it. I'm glad that these two games are direct sequels, not just a jazzed-up version of the original Black and White (in other words, not a Gray version). Plus, the fusion concept is sort of interesting. I just need to learn more about it.

By the way, I'm guessing most of you will wind up buying the game.

Looks great! I'm also noticing new courts, so it's NOT a remake of Mario Power Tennis! This should be a fun game!
