Remember, they called this game New Super Mario Bros. 2 because it is a direct sequel to the DS version. I wish there was more innovation, but the original was fantastic. They are just sticking with with the tried & true, plus added a lot of fun and cool ideas to the game.

Hopefully New Super Mario Bros. U will change it up, and from the looks of the art styles it will.
