Is it just me, or did the update for DK Jr. do nothing different, it doesnt have the fancy tv and nes preview like the other 2 ambassador games made publicly available and there's no save states like those said two games (well, you dont need them for an arcade game, but still worth noting out)

Just be glad it's only ONE friend code per friend now like the 3DS, instead of one for every bloody game like DS/Wii, and that they're trying to make them easier for you the customers. Besides, I bet if usernames were used there would be complaining of usernames being taken. Just play the bloody games and stop the needless whining. If friend codes are the one thing thats going to ruin the Wii U for you, then 3 words for you: Don't Buy It .

As much as I love Mario Games, I must say yes. Nintendo really needs to look at some of their franchises OTHER THAN Mario and Zelda. I mean, when was the last f-zero, star fox (that isn't a remake), pikmin, fire emblem, ice climber, etc.? Now gladly a couple of them are getting a new game after all this time of Mario and Zelda, and I'm really upbeat about Kirby finally getting love and attention by Nintendo again (as evident by the last 3 games released over the general course of one year). But I do say, Nintendo really does need to give Mario a break from platforming, not a long one, but enough to give other series the spotlight.

The multiplayer really sounds great, going to buy it day one. I don't care about the lack of online ranking, besides, people would hack them anyways like almost every other game with a leaderboard (exactly why leaderboards are pointless). Though I still am curious about the included 3DS stand, does it really add anything to gameplay? I'll probably find myself not using it.

One bizarre thing I would like to do is make this the final Wii game I buy, to make "The Last Story" a fitting title in my Wii Library.

Out of all of these, I only really want Punch-Out.

Finally I have a reason to buy the Wii U at launch (assuming this will be a launch title for the system). I'll also be buying the PS3 Version at the game launch (cause I have the other 4 games on the system).

@timp29 Your kidding right (About questioning the game's release)? I'm not surprised that info was pretty limited, the Big N usually has a thing for doing that. Plus I'm sure the lack of info is to surprise the player, for the experience. Like I said it's more exciting for a game like Zelda, to know very little from the get-go than to know everything before the game even comes out, it sort of in a way enhances the experience.

I still have to preorder this, it's kind of shocking that I have not been following this game as i would with other big titles, but to go into a game completely blind is much more exciting than knowing everything before you even buy it. cough brawl website cough

Sure, it sucks that we won't be able to play it until next year, but really, it was not unexpected. And truth be told, the game getting delayed is more of a blessing in disguise, it gives us one less game to worry about this year, especially for those with multiple systems. And I don't think I need to insert a certain quote made by Miyamoto when Brawl got delayed to show those that say otherwise that waiting for a good game pays off, over getting a bad game in time for Christmas, we've all learned this the hard way with games like E.T. and Sonic 06.

I just want this game to fix all (or most of) the problems I have with MarioKart Wii.

1. Make The Unlock Methods Reasonable: I don't want to have to perfect a racing game to unlock characters, because at that point it becomes a chore. And since MarioKart Wii felt like luck-over-skill, I still have about 5 characters still locked, and I don't think I'll ever unlock them.

2. Balance The Items: One good example is that bloody lightning cloud, why do racers in 4th and lower tend to get an item that practically hinders there chances of winning even more? I say make that item for 1st place. As for the blue shell, I could care less about it.

3. Remove/Limit The Bikes: Isn't this game called Mario KART, so why are there motorcycles? On a more serious note, while I did like the bikes in MarioKart Wii, they had too many advantages over karts (speed-boosting wheelies, cut corners easier, etc.), making the karts practically useless against them in races. A consecutive wheelie limit would be nice.

And Finally The Biggest One For Me.....

4. Fix The Battle Mode: One of my favorite things to do in the previous MarioKart games was play a game of Balloon Battle, a free-for-all match where the goal is to pop other's balloons with items and be the last-man-standing (There is also Coin/Shine Runners, but I never found it as fun). Words could not describe my sadness and anger when MarioKart Wii decided to change an already great formula for the worse. Teams? Time-Limits? Points? Forget all of that and give us the free-for-all survival Balloon Battle we all knew and love from the other games, and if they must have the teams, time-limits and points, make it a secondary option like "Team Balloon Battle" or something.

Now I don't usually set some-what high expectations for a game, but MarioKart Wii really left a bad impression on me. Aside from that I really look forward to the game, MarioKart has always been my favorite racing series, and for good reasons. Competition is fierce, yet there is always a chance for an underdog to win with a lucky item. And no friendship can end faster than by stealing a victory with the help of a Koopa shell.

It's great that we have somewhat of a launch date. There are two things that, while I doubt they will do it, would like to see them do. The first thing is for the heck of it, gold cartridges for preorders like how the original did. And while I doubt it a lot, I'd like to see the original Fire Temple theme (you know, the one with the chanting), i know about the public outcry rumor around that theme, but that has recently been proved false by GameTrailers. If none of that, I'd want to see something new in the game, like how Mario 64 DS had extra stars.

Sweet, 2 More Victinis for me, cant wait to play black and white in english.

If they make a Zelda 25th Game, They NEED to do much better than Mario allstars.

This game is truly a great title, levels look great, it's challenging and overall, fun. starts writing letter Dear, RetroStudios, please make more Donkey Kong Countrys. :3

Come on Nintendo, get this to America, even if the red Wii can't atleast give us SOMETHING. Sorry, but a website with a video and a few interviews which almost no one is going to read doesn't cut it.

I LOVE this game, Luigi needs more love from Nintendo, instead of bashing the poor guy. If there was ever a sequel to this game i would go crazy.

I loved being able to use my Wii/PS3 to stream programs from Netflix, but having to put the disc in/out got alittle annoying. Now with streaming disc-less, finally I relax and watch all of the History Channel Documentaries Super Mario Bros. Super Show Episodes I want with little hassle.

I think it is a wise decision to postpone the release until more systems can be made, I sure wouldn't want to see the 3DS becoming incredibly scarce like the Wii did when it first came out.

Wow, Aside from the infinite life trick (which i've never successfully done), I have never heard of the other glitches before. The funniest in my opinion was the little fire mario.

That commercial....was the scariest thing I have ever seen Nintendo related. But hey Happy 25th N.E.S.!
