PaperLucario commented on Nintendo Download: 29th January (Europe):

What I'm now interested in is the file size of Trilogy, Galxay 2 was less than 2GB, while Punch-Out was a higher than expected 4.5GB, given the large file sizes of the two DKC games for download (For the systems they're on, 2GB for Return 3D and 11GB for Tropical Freeze are huge), i dread the thought of the combined size of 3, very packed games.

The two games are already filthy rich in content, it certainly doesn't need to have DLC, unlike the vast majority of games these days. It didn't need to have Mewtwo at all, but we're getting it, as (As Sakarai putted it) if it's like an additional dessert like the clone characters to a full course meal, and for that, it's greatly appreciated.

Glad to see Ike returning, but with him returning, I kind of not want Chrom to be playable, as that would just be 3 blue haired swordsman on the roster (from the same series mind you). With that in mind if we do get a Fire Emblem newcomer I'd like them to branch out a little, and if the Pseudo-Palutena trophy in the direct is a way of nudging Palutena to be playable, then maybe the Tiki trophy maybe a nudge to ....

Well crap, I already own all 4 of the NA options, so unless I give the code away or with luck sell it, that means I'm getting a 2nd free digital copy, question is which one (My copy of New Super Luigi U is a disc, so maybe not Mario)?

I like the look, but thats way too much money to shell out for just a paint job, especially when you can easily find a normal one on ebay for 30 dollars these days. Not even the rare Pikachu ones sell for that much unless it's in the box or comes with a ton of games. Atleast it's not like shelling out $5,000 on a golden digital frying pan.

PaperLucario commented on Nintendo to Offer Triple Layer of Miiverse Mod...:

@FluttershyGuy Hahaha, that's a perfect idea (provided Nintendo has a moderation team for each region and their respective languages so that they can't catch foreign swears as easily) to get around the ahem Untitled
Reminds me of the last couple Assassin's Creed games with every curse in Italian.

PaperLucario commented on Nintendo Download: 14th June 2012 (North America):

Is it just me, or did the update for DK Jr. do nothing different, it doesnt have the fancy tv and nes preview like the other 2 ambassador games made publicly available and there's no save states like those said two games (well, you dont need them for an arcade game, but still worth noting out)

Really people, this is just sad, were you really NOT expecting them to do this. Just be glad it's only ONE friend code per friend now like the 3DS, instead of one for every bloody game like DS/Wii, and that they're trying to make them easier for you the customers. Besides, I bet if usernames were used there would be complaining of usernames being taken. Just play the bloody games and stop the needless whining. If friend codes are the one thing thats going to ruin the Wii U for you, then 3 words for you: Don't Buy It .

PaperLucario commented on Talking Point: Is Nintendo Over-Reliant on Sup...:

As much as I love Mario Games, I must say yes. Nintendo really needs to look at some of their franchises OTHER THAN Mario and Zelda. I mean, when was the last f-zero, star fox (that isn't a remake), pikmin, fire emblem, ice climber, etc.? Now gladly a couple of them are getting a new game after all this time of Mario and Zelda, and I'm really upbeat about Kirby finally getting love and attention by Nintendo again (as evident by the last 3 games released over the general course of one year). But I do say, Nintendo really does need to give Mario a break from platforming, not a long one, but enough to give other series the spotlight.

PaperLucario commented on Review: Kid Icarus: Uprising (3DS):

The multiplayer really sounds great, going to buy it day one. I don't care about the lack of online ranking, besides, people would hack them anyways like almost every other game with a leaderboard (exactly why leaderboards are pointless). Though I still am curious about the included 3DS stand, does it really add anything to gameplay? I'll probably find myself not using it.
