The frame rate is inexcusable. There is still fun to be had here but I was left wondering what to do control wise a few times. I wouldn't say its as bad as a 3 but it definitly could be better.

Yes and this year is only going to get better! I still have yet to really jump into 3 of my retail games this year and am about half way through luigis mansion. We still have about 6-7 games coming out this year that I want that I know of. After this year it could definitly be my favorite of all time.

I have over 20 retail titles and countless eshop games. Its not there yet but by the end of this year it will be close! So many good games in one year has valted it to this status. I'm in fear for a let down though next year but I'm surre ill hae enough to play well into next year!

OldMan-Tech commented on Insomniac Not Working On Wii U, Considers It M...:

Nintendo is definitely in trouble here. At least with the Wii everyone had to have a Wii and a HD console. That's not necessarily the case here. All this means is Nintendo is left to support the system all by themselvels and I think long term it will ruin them. They do need games and it will sell but it won't be nearly as much as it will need.

Now don't get me wrong as I don't think either of the next gen systems are going to sell all that well either. Yes the graphics will be better but we are not looking at the leap in quality over the last gen. Price will also be a Hugh factor for years to come. I can't afford a Wii U then alone either of the other options. Are social media is moving way to fast these days and video games need to change!

OldMan-Tech commented on Feature: Celebrating Ten Years of The Wind Waker:

It took me about 9 years to finally realize that this here was my favorite Zelda of all time. I held on to OOT for too many years thinking it was still my favorite. While its still an exceptional game it does feel dated specially compared to Wind Waker! Can't hold on to nostalgia forever!

I think both these titles look extremely interesting! Will they be fun to play is the question. I say take your time and get it right! Lots of fun to be had here if done right but they're gamers first so hopefully that wins through!

@Barbiegurl777 I'm not trying to save face or anything but I was thinking we need more users like you on this site! Too many people butt heads around here but it does seem like some of them have cut back a lot on posting here. You're allowed to like any games you want just like anyone else for that matter. My options are different from a lot of others as well!

Hey you can aim that at me all you want but Undead_Terror didn't really say anything!

As for me we all have our likes and dislikes. I was just stating I wouldn't play half to most of the games on your list. Not trying to make fun of you or anything! Sorry if you took it that way!

I wouldn't call ATV bad either. It can be fun I'm sure online but the graphics in this day and age is no excuse! It looks like a bad n64 game at best. Still even that ugly imo it still plays well but it just doesn't hold my interest. All the bikes are the same and so are the people look wise!

ATV got what it deserved! I dl-ed it the other day and its still as ugly as in the video. It still can be fun yes but the levels are mostly lifeless and boring but the frame rate hold up nicely and I think that's why most people like it so much!

OldMan-Tech commented on Jett Rocket II Delayed To Add Free-Roaming 3D ...:

I wonder if they are doing this to appease fans that complained about it. I for one like the direction they were going in but I won't mind some free roaming level in 3d as well.

@Waveboy If the game is fun and good who care if the character is bland or boring. I just want a fun experience and don't care if the main character is a rock!

I've got around 150,000 left but had 200,000 just over three months ago. Monster Hunter , Luigi's Mansion, and Fire Emblem plus a few eshop games have really taken a hit on me. If this keeps up I might need to get an even bigger card soon and I'm already at 32 gig. I might just go retail on this one since I also want to dl Animal Crossing, Pokemon, Mario and Luigi, Zelda LTTP2, and Mario Golf plus what ever else comes down the pipe line I can't think of at the moment.

It's sounds like this game needs a serious patch but it might be so big of a patch that its not worth their time. Shame as I'm still interested but I really need a demo or I probably won't touch this till its dirt cheap! Of course that robs them of money.
