Wii U, is a great console, got mine today here in norway. 1 day before release. everything works perfect. NO hardware issues, NO loading time issues, NO nothing everything is amazing I'm in heaven....
This is no small feet.... IGN: it’s built-in screen offers functionality that no other platform has. Namely, the ability to play any portion of the game via SecondScreen gameplay. Black Ops 2 occasionally drops in frame-rate no matter how you play it, but both regular and SecondScreen gameplay function well enough that I never felt at a disadvantage or that it took away from the fun, even when playing the super speedy online multiplayer. Even cooler, you can play online split-screen multiplayer without having to actually split your screens. You can still play with two people on the same TV, or, thanks to some brilliant designers, use the GamePad as your second player’s screen.
@TornadoX7 I think we have to accept that only Wii U retail and Wii U Downloadable games will play form a Hard drive. Everything else have to be played from either Internal drive or SD, But thats ok, considering the Pirate Issues
@ChunkyDroid How many titles can the Premium and Basic Sets store in their internal storage memory?
The size of software titles will vary, so it’s difficult to give a concrete answer. Please refer to the software size in the Nintendo eShop before purchasing. If there is insufficient internal storage memory, an external USB storage device can be connected to expand upon the internal storage memory. SD cards cannot be used to expand upon the internal storage memory. Details on USB devices confirmed to work will be posted in the following days.
Of course they will add external HDD support, maybe not at launch but VERY VERY soon. come on people Nintendo are not idiots...
from a logical standpoint: there is no way MS or sony would price a new console way above the wii u, that doesnt make sense. either u wait (if u prefer a xbox or playstation) or u grab a wii u. its that simple

@wheels2050: do u really have to ask that question? first of all I love games but I dont think the 360 is a good platform for me. (my opinion) wierd OS with to much adds, the paying for gold membership, sure I love a lot of the games but I just wish nintendo had the opportunity and the support to do more of the same. for me SNES and N64 are the best consoles ever.
Thing is I really love nintendo, they are all about game play. with the wii I got my mario my zelda my metroid. BUT something was missing, as a hardcore gamer I need more(not talking about stupid FPS). so I had to buy an XBOX to get RG fix, the witcher, amular, dragon age and dont forget all the amazing XBLA games. I really hope the wii u can fill the empty hole cause I sucks ass to have to play all those amazing tittles on a crappy xbox
