@siddharthbandhu Unrelated, but... Angry Birds Space? Really? Rio was stretching it... I like the game, but four iterations is enough. Original is best, Seasons is cute, Rio is pointless and I'm probably not getting Space...

As for the Skyward Sword controls... I seriously need to move my sensor. It won't work for me. sigh And the flicking is annoying.

@smashbrawler331 You know you can download it early and for free when you buy certain games right? At least here in Australia, it's a good thing I held off getting my sister's Nintendogs+Cats :) It ends at the end of the month so if you plan to get Rayman Origins that may have the slip.

As for Colors!... I'm going to download that day one but will it ever have an exact confirmed date?!?!?! :O

I forgot to type this: Another reason to keep physical is for the excitement. It just isn't as fun waiting to download something, as going out to the shop, tracking down your copy, and holding it in your hands. I'm all for digital copies but only if they remain completely and utterly optional... I would only download full games if I completely and utterly had to. :(

Nibelilt commented on Welcome to the New Look Nintendo Life!:

I know this is somewhat late but I just want to say the look doesn't load properly on iPad. There's no pictures on the side and the ads overlap each other. It's a minor issue, because you don't see them, and all links still work properly. Just wanted to say that. It doesn't bother me at all though. :P

Nibelilt commented on Pokémon Black & White Version 2 Announced:

I'm saying it again: I can't believe they made them on DS. Maybe I'll just wait until the RS remakes... Next Gen perhaps... It was just idiotic to not make them on 3DS, by the time they come out outside of Japan, which will be 2013, or at the VERY earliest, Christmas, playing a DS game will be incredibly dated. The problem isn't that it's coming out on DS. It's that GameFreak are just too lazy to move the series on and utilize the full potential of the series on a new platform. They have to move on sometime, and now would have been great. But no, here's a copy of the same game with two new half-Pokemon and a proper Battle Subway. -_-

Nibelilt commented on Pokémon Director Hypes up Sunday Announcement:

@Contrary But there's a fine line between laziness and difficulty. It doesn't need to be a miracle. If they left the Japanese release for next year, it could probably be enough time. As much as I love the idea of Pokemon, and the characters and all, this time it's so stubborn to make a game with real change, then there's really no justification. This... is just not needed.

Nibelilt commented on Pokémon Director Hypes up Sunday Announcement:

@PaperMyles

Because Gamefreak are just wasting time and earning a quick buck by releasing them on DS, not 3DS, and being lazy. People are upset because we want to see Pokemon at its full potential- in glorious 3D, with new graphics, new features and more exploration. Don't you want to see Pokemon move onto 3DS, with more memory and data than before? Besides, a DS game coming out will be rather dated in 2013. Since they're coming out on DS, not 3DS, chances are they will be completely copied and pasted with about two new features.

Nibelilt commented on Pokémon Director Teases Something for Sunday:

Everyone saying IVs suck... You are right. I just want to casually battle every once in a while against opponents not in the game and I never IV train my Pokemon but that last factor means I can't because everybody else does it, and with extremely overpowered 'Mons too. That is why I stopped playing Black and White. The VS battles against the CPUs have become extremely boring and repetitive and the areas in the region have very much been played through enough. But by the way I'm playing it's seriously IMPOSSIBLE, to find another non-serious, non-IVing, non-high-tier/legend player who's just bored with the main game. I reckon I would have a decent chance at it without the stupid IVs.

@DarkKirby ALL of your points are fantastic. That's what I would love too. If they put Gray on DS, by the way, it will just be a joke.

Nibelilt commented on Talking Point: When StreetPass Reunites Old Fr...:

I live in a rural area and so far, at 54 StreetPass Hits... I must be really lucky. There's also a small StreetPass community near here and some workers at EB five minutes away I get Hits from every time I go there so I try to visit those areas a lot. It's such a shame I have to go out so much to get them. I've seen quite a few people with 3DS systems, but most of the time they're kids either playing a DS game or with their system off.

Last night, I had a dream I got a StreetPass Hit from a white Mii. But woke up and still stuck in Dark Room. :( Dammit.

What @100. said. As long as these things are optional I'm all for them... Due to memory constraints, lack available service for downloaded releases and lack of Internet etc. Also it would be rather pointless having a card/disk slot and not being able to use them. If they are ever going to do this, save it for next generation or something at least.

Nibelilt commented on Fee Fi Fo Fum, Activision Announces Skylanders...:

Screw light up figures. We all want articulated figures, not glowing ones. They're cool, but actually movable figures would extend the "beyond the game" idea even further. Surely it couldn't be that hard? As a bonus, don't know if this would be possible, but it would be even better if they put the codes inside the figures and you can take them off the stand and just put them on the portal like that.

Also, finish bringing out current figures please. And finally make it so something is put into the disk that actually allows it to put new data on itself with new figures. That way, we will be bombarded with less unneeded sequels.

Of course, this is all wishful thinking, and will never happen, it's Activision. :( On the upside, I like how they are making some figures bigger, the current ones are too small to make a really good display.

I don't care, as long as they make this game better. The first was far to plain and straightforward to hold my attention, a real disappointment, so here's hoping this one is different, and not a rushed copy-and-paste sequel.

Edit: I want that Byrd figure XD...

Wii U looks more hardcore than I'm used to, don't plan to get any of the launch titles right now, but I am still getting it day one. Just release a Mario or Zelda or even Star Fox to come out then, Ninty, and all my regrets will be gone. :)

Nibelilt commented on Talking Point: The Future of Pokémon:

Seriously, there is just no reason to put Gray on DS. Put it on 3DS, and make legendaries hard to catch again, dammit!

I think with the power of the 3DS, they really need to expand this game beyond just battling and catching. Not change the game completely, no, the core is fine, but sometimes I like taking a break from the battles with the actual game, not the side games, if you know what I mean. "Variety is the spice of life. Without it, life is boring!" Remember the amazing post-game in HGSS? It's the reason I'm still playing. Those two just gave you such a large place to explore. Exploration should be integrated more into the next games, rather than battling. Battling is fun, but it gets boring after so many games, fighting so many of the same characters. I'd also like things to do other than battling, not the musical or contests, but things which can actually improve your Pokemons' stats.

I'd also like to see you being able to train and truly evolve your Pokemon more deeply, not with EVs and stuff, but things like... Remember in the original series there was a trained Sandshrew which was resistant to water, when it should have been weak to it? I'd like to see that put in somehow, even if it's just for lowering 4x weaknesses on Pokemon.

Also, we need this to be either one game or two games where we can outright catch every single Pokemon, no event, StreetPass, or whatever exclusives.

Other than that, I'm fine with whatever they'll do. Oh, and I want Pokemon walking with you back.

Edit: Also, Monochrome > Gray/Grey, and RegalRuby/ShiningSapphire.

I love this version much better than the console version! I thought that was a total disappointment. You should all try this out regardless, it's a great platformer!

And to everybody saying "it sucks", give a genuine reason that isn't replay value. Sure, the game's short, but the other versions lack content too, not just this one...

Nibelilt commented on Feature: 3DS and the Trend of Colourful Handhelds:

I had a Pikachu GBC, And currently don't know where it's lost in the house. I kept my Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DSLite and Mario Bros DSLite. I'm still using my 25th Anniversary Mario Wii until the Wii U is out, but I kept the controllers and games packed and sealed. As for 3DS, I'm perfectly happy with my Aqua Blue! I may change colors if an updated version come out, but that would probably require rearranging my game case.

Patch for Maka Wuhu is pretty much all I want- the track is beautiful but ruined by glitchers. Second on the list would be more levels for 3D Land, I already finished it! (just need to finish the last level again with Mario...)

Nibelilt commented on Iwata Hints at Upcoming Swapnote Update:

I'm using the app right now as a sketch filler until Colors! 3D comes out. The ink limit really is harsh. If they're worried about memory with it, they should give you the option to have more ink, but no animation video. Actually, the ink is really bad anyway... Even a tiny extra would be great. Color text would be great too, as well as more varied stationery.
