Re: Do Different Amiibo Have The Same Function?

NFreak007

Toon Link works the same as Link for Hyrule Warriors. The Bowser amiibos work the same as each other (as far as I know), but Bowser Jr. is a separate character.

Re: rytmik exporting

NFreak007

All I can recommend is checking the input settings in Audacity - it's a drop-down menu next to a microphone icon near the top of the window. If there are any other inputs available, try them and see if they work. If it only lists the laptop's built-in mic then I'm afraid you're out of luck.

What kind of laptop do you have, and do you know for sure whether that port you used works as an input, or is it just a headphone port? Have you used it to record any audio before?

Re: Is this an original Metroid Zero Mission Cartridge?

NFreak007

The battery is also a dead giveaway that the cartridge is fake. The only GBA cartridges with batteries are Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald, and those only controlled the clock. Real GBA cartridges use non-volatile memory for their save data, not battery backup like older cartridges, but a lot of bootlegs use batteries.

Re: Nintendo DS lite question

NFreak007

The DS Lite isn't region locked at all, so import games will play fine. I have a few US games that I play on my EU DS.

Re: Nintendo Ds Lite

NFreak007

The DS Lite will play DS and GBA games, but not 3DS games. See if you can find any of the Pokemon games - I'd recommend Black2/White2 or HeartGold/SoulSilver. You won't need a memory card as all the games save their data on their cartridges.

EDIT: You can find this site's best rated DS games here and best rated GBA games here.

Your warranty will almost certainly be voided if you open it up yourself. You don't have long to wait now, just sit tight and send it to Nintendo.

I got a question. Like if I choose wireless transfer and if the new 3DS doesn't have enough space to like get all the data from the source 3ds XL, then does that mean that all my game stuff would be gone or something?

Also this is probably stupid to ask but how much is 4,000 blocks? Is it 4GB or less than that cause I can't figure out the block usage here. Another one of those Nintendolators......

You have the option to wirelessly transfer only the save data from your source 3DS's download games, and redownload the games later.

8 blocks = 1MB, so 4,000 blocks is roughly 0.5GB.

Re: Pokemon Alpha Sapphire

NFreak007

Sounds like a good party to me - it has a wide range of types which is obviously important and they'll all get better as they evolve. Just be wary of levelling them up too much too soon as they'll become disobedient if their levels get too high for your current number of gym badges. Also, be open to changing up your team as you encounter more wild Pokémon throughout the game.

Hi, I'm new here and I have a question: up to now, I developed with Petit Computer on a DSi. If I want to share my programs with friends on 3DS, is it correct that the only modification I have to do is changing the background size? Or is this not even necessary?
Thanks in advance for your help!

That won't be necessary. The 3DS runs DSiWare titles at their original resolution, so you can share your programs as they are with no problems!

Great, thanks!
Does it mean they will appear cropped on 3ds screens? Or do they extend to fill the bigger screen?

By default they'll expand to fill as much of the screen as possible without changing the aspect ratio. As the 3DS' screens are higher resolution this results in it looking a little blurry. If that bothers you, you can also make Petit Computer (and any other DS or DSiWare game) run in its original resolution by holding down Start or Select when you start the game from the 3DS Home menu.

Re: Error code 101-0112

NFreak007

According to the Nintendo Network status page, both Wii U and 3DS online services are experiencing some problems at the moment. I'd suggesting waiting a few hours until that page shows that things are back to normal and trying again. If it still doesn't work after that, then ask again.

Re: Majora's Mask Paranoia

TP wasn't really remade as it released on Wii and GameCube at the same time. In fact, it came out on Wii a couple of weeks before Gamecube in Europe! Spirit Tracks is the worst selling Zelda overall, which kinda disappoints me as I really liked it!

Quick start isn't working for me :,( I turn off my Wii U, then push the home button on the gamepad, but then it tells me that it'll go to the Wii U menu, because something didn't work. And then it tells me to turn the console off again and to try it a few more times. I've tried it 6-7 times now and the same message keeps popping up over and over again. Did anyone else experience this?

Do you mean this message?

If so, do what it tells you: turn the Wii U off, wait for a while (until the power light goes from amber to red) and then turn it on again.

Either I am totally missing it or the option isn't there, but just in case....is there a way to turn off the "shadow image" of other people's shots during online tournament and event play? It's hard to calculate my shot with all these golf balls with Mii faces on them are blocking my view of the green.

This won't work for custom tournaments, but for Nintendo's tournaments you can play the tournaments offline and upload your score later. That gets rid of the ghost balls.

if this happened on a Vita or..PS3/4..Etc..look in download history press redownload issue done.

As Stomatopod17 pointed out, you can do that on 3DS as well. I don't think that's the issue here, though.
This reminds me of someone a while ago who took advantage of a free game offer multiple times when the T&Cs said one per person. (Or something like that, I don't remember all the details) Nintendo detected the suspicious activity and deleted his account, including all the games he had downloaded. Prof_Clayton hinted at this too. Nintendo do have the power to do that and, if your Club Nintendo account is also gone, I think that's what has happened here. If you haven't done anything dodgy it was probably just a mistake, and a call to Nintendo Support might fix it.

I'm thinking of getting this, how long did it last for you all?

I finished it in about 6 hours, I think. Don't let that put you off though - it's like an old Metroid game in that it doesn't take long to finish it once, but you can spend much longer trying to beat your best time and/or trying to finish with 100% completion.

Re: Braintrainig to 3ds

NFreak007

The simple answer is that we just don't know. Since the original release date of last April was changed to 'TBD', Nintendo haven't said anything about it at all.
You can find the game's page on the official Nintendo website here which should show the release date if/when one gets announced. Personally, since it didn't sell well in America I doubt they'll bother releasing it here at all.
