@StarDust: Gay couples have been in The Sims since the first game.

@gundam00: To me, not playing a game only because it doesn't offer same gender marriages is about as weird as not playing one because it does. Anyway...

@ShadJV: About Harvest Moon... The option to play as a girl has been in the series since the second game (GB). I don't know why they took it out of most other games after that.

I guess they just didn't want to figure a realistic way to work around your character being pregnant (in the first few games that allowed both female PCs and marriage, the game just ended after the second) or simply didn't want to program the whole "play as a girl" part to save space and time.

In newer games they just pretend pregnant women can go around farming and ranching the day before the delivery like it's nothing

@jazz07 and @TrueWiiMaster: I wouldn't worry about that, most games that include the "gay option" usually need you to actively look for it if it interests you, they rarely have it as a default value of sorts. It's not like gay people in real life are creepers that hit on every single person they find either.

Don't worry @Barbiegurl77, as another person with diferent gaming tastes, I can say that I enjoy reading your opinions on these games (even though it may seem otherwise with the way I express myself). It really gives another perspective and variety to the usual cut and paste "omg lol wtf it automatically sucks because I have no interest in it" comments most others make about them.

@Ernest_The_Crab: If I remember correctly, the creator of Nyan Cat posted the original image (along with the song) in his personal comics site, it wasn't the first of his "make weird gif and play a song in the background" creations either.

About the ambassador games, I have no plans to update Ballon Trip since I want to keep it in its original form, I never use it anyway so it's not like I'll miss the new features.
