I'm loving this. Wasn't going to buy the game but thought I'd try since it was a free demo. And it's great fun, especially the vs mode. Can't decide now whether to buy the game retail (it's £22 on Amazon) or pay to download other bits and bobs.

I hit the same problem as many others - bought a table without the demo, got confused, had to Google it. Still, I've been playing "Epic Quest" all afternoon and it's great. My first foray into Zen Pinball. I'll try some of the Marvel tables next.

I want this. The one disappointing thing about Wii was its lack of decent (non-Kart) driving games. And I'm glad Criterion are involved. The Burnout series for me reached a peak at Burnout 2 but the later games were one of only things to (almost) tempt me to a non-Nintendo console. I'd love to see a new Burnout as well.

Milton_Burle commented on Wii U Games Struggling At Retail In The UK:

Everyone says price is the problem and I agree to an extent, but that doesn't seem to put people in the UK off shelling out for yet another variant of a glowing Apple tablet. Most people I talk to haven't heard of a Wii U or don't understand what it is. I think word of mouth is a big thing for Nintendo consoles. With the Wii I'd show people Wii Sports and they'd instantly want one. Wii U is a more subtle, slow-burning experience, harder to sell. But I hope sales pick up.

I downloaded this today and it's well worth the reduced price. I'll be revisiting the single-player mode to try and get 3 stars for each course. I'd have loved some marathon single-player levels, not just lap-based ones. But what with this and the excellent "And Yet It Moves", Broken Rules are fast becoming my favourite indie developer.
