I remember seeing pics in magazines back in maybe 1993, and being blown away. It just looked amazing compared to games like Megman X I was playing at the time.Then when I finally got a copy, I was very impressed by the cartridge. It was the heaviest SNES cart I had. The difference was really significant.Anyway, I was a very happy 14 year old, and I played this game to 101% completion many times over.

IMHO nintendo needs to seriously reach out to the indies, and promote the hell out of them. They would be a good fit for nintendo's hardware strategy.If I could play Starbound, a bunch of retro games, and Nintendo games on the WiiU, I would be so happy.

Well, I’m certainly not buying this.Even though the GBA version has downgraded music, the bug fixes and translation make over make it my favorite version of this game.

As much as I hate Apple, ignoring the threat it is would be foolish. Obviously, Reggie is just taking this stance for the media. The iPhone/Pod/Pad might have a huge list of shovelware, the appstore is really miles ahead from the DSiware store it terms of usability and quantity/quality of games.

The main problem with DSiWare is the stupid 16MB or so limit. How are developers supposed to put out nice games with such a limit?iPod/iPhone games on the other hand have no such limit.

@Objection_Blaster: I think that the lack of info about where to go next is actually a great feature. You have to explore, make guesses, take wrong paths, and when you finally figure out where to go, it’s a great little discovery. Games nowadays either lead you step by step or are just too linear. I understand that finding dungeons in the very first Zelda was too cryptic, but ALttP is just fine to me!

I have this phone, and even though having a SNES emulator is something you might get excited about, it's not all that great for three reasons:1-Sounds are not emulated very well. Depends on the game though2-The screen is just too small to really enjoy it.3-Controlling games with a tiny plastic keyboard is horrible. Platformers are a pain to play. RPG are usually less problematic, as they don't require to hit Y and B at the same time for instance.
