Well Nintendo isn't doing a great job at attracting new customers/fans, so I am not surprised at all that the customers are getting older. It's the same group of us that have been buying Nintendo systems since the early 90s that keep coming back for more of the same...

I thought graphically OOT3D was amazing, and is still the best looking 3DS game to me. The controls were also great, and I actually liked the gyro controls in it. I like having the option to use gyro controls and regular controls (same goes with waggle and every other gimick), but I found myself opting for the gyro aiming more than not.

This game actually has an open world unlike all the other Lego games on 3DS. I might actually buy it eventually for this reason. Portable open world 3D gaming on my New 3DS? :D

I personally think this is cool. Amiibo is only worthwhile for me if there are a lot of games that use them. I have no interest in the Smash or Kart functionality, but knowing there are many games with different quirky benefits would definitely increase my likelihood of purchasing. Right now it's just the Samus 1 for me.

There is POTENTIAL for Nintendo made smartphone apps to do WONDERS for their business by creating awareness and getting a lot of people interested in Nintendo again. But, the fact that they are waiting until 2015 to launch anything just proves that they don't take it seriously enough.

I buy all my new games at GameStop because of their rewards program. They have a really handy app that let's you check any games inventory at their stores. It looks like it's in stock at most Gamestop stores near me.

This is a GREAT game at a great price on the eShop! One of the few games that are not 2D on the eShop that are worth a purchase. There's even online play!

Not surprising. I think this will rival and ultimately surpass X/Y for top selling 3DS game of all time. The Wii U version will be successful too, and I think it will help sell systems. It won't save the console though :/

Cool, but I need Nintendo to work on a patch so that screens can be posted to Miiverse from the 3DS version. Come on Nintendo, it's the only game where taking and posting screens to Miiverse actually excites me...

A game like this is pretty much what makes Miiverse awesome. To not be able to post screnshots (if that's the case) is a big disappointment. I want the New 3DS, but it feels like a bunch of Nintendo peripherals thrown into one console. Every one of them will hardly be utilized due to this splitting the market. I'm tired of people making excuses for Nintendo's weak hardware. The only reason they do that is to keep the system considerably cheaper, but they pay the price in the end.

While I hate Capcom for taking Resident Evil away, I am glad they are putting games on the eShop. They woud be stupid not to really, as many 3rd parties are when it comes to the Virtual Console. There's a lot of old games I want to play

Pretty disappointing. I hope this teaches Nintendo a lesson to stop holding back on the tech inside their consoles. I'd rather pay more for something cutting edge than old tech. The 3DS is a mess lol a successful one

Of the ones listed, Ray's The Dead, Super World Karts, and the Power Glove documentary are the ones I'm most interested in playing. Surprised Super World Karts is such a small amount considering the utter lack of any similar games I can think of...

I hate the name, but I love everything about this system except one thing. It won't have many games made for it, and certainly not the ones I want really. That's the same problem the old 3DS and Wii U have. It's just too little too late to attract 3rd parties, but I'll still get one.

I really enjoyed BO2 on my Wii U. It's one of the few great experiences I have had on the system. Playing zombies with my friend online while having my own screen was awesome. I am gonna pick the game up again soon, I just hope there is still a bunch of people playing online.

@Galenmereth Everything you said I agree with. It IS offensive. Nintendo acts like they are the makers of V-Smile or Leapfrog. Under 18 is not their ONLY demographic by a long shot. I'm 23 and a lot of my friends own 3DS's. Do we ever use them? Hardly, but that's a different topic...

McGruber commented on Developer Hints At How Minecraft Could Shape U...:

I'm sure Minecraft technically could work on 3DS, but I don't see the developer putting in the effort to downscale it. Clearly no 3rd parties want to develop for the system, even with it's decent install base. I'm really hoping the 3DS successor is announced in the next year. Nintendo needs to start putting out machines that appeal to 3rd parties (which means it appeals to more than children and families). I personally would rather pay more up front for something quality than what we have gotten with the horrible 3DS models.

McGruber commented on Nintendo TVii Update Adds New Features and Imp...:

Don't feel bad if you don't have it! Its a horribly slow app that is only good for the TV guide. This latest update is not an improvement either. All they did was take away half the features to make it load faster?? You can no longer search for shows by whether they have TVTag, which was the only good feature to begin with. I also can't seem to switch from MLB to any other sport. Honestly just download the TV Tag App on your phone. It does everything NTV does, and much faster.

McGruber commented on Ubisoft Makes Little Mention of Nintendo in Pl...:

Nintendo put out a system that only appeals to longtime Nintendo fans and familys. Those two groups do not buy 3rd party games historically, especially not mature themed games. The part that still gets me is how naive Nintendo was in thinking WiiU ever appealed to gamers. In order to do that they needed to offer everything gamers love about 360/PS3: great online, achievements, social features, and GAMES. They had the nerve to act like 3rd parties would flourish on WiiU given everything going against that notion. Iwata should step down for being so out of touch with reality.
